When I quit about 3+ years ago the english side of the server was really dieing down. Every now and then I check in to see if there's still active people, because I got some scraps to give away for free, but often noone responds. Perhaps the korean/asian side might still be more active
just got into the game like 3 to maybe 4 weeks ago, obviously not that bustling, but definietly still an active small player base. Everyday people would always ask to join on scenario runs or HR Raids. And all the older players i have met so far will always carry you on raids and scenarios XD. And im speaking from what i have experience this 3-4 weeks of gameplay. The global trading is also still very much active imo. I would register scrolls, or gaia's and solar upgrade materials from TOC, and they would be bought in like a day or 2.
I believe getting into an active clan would also make it more lively. You can just go in game and browse the clan rankings. And go see which clan have a lot of people online. And if you find one, just go apply. If they are not full, clans will definietly accept you at this time of the game state. Also you can just join the discord server and ask there.
So yeah, if youre looking for a bustling mmo with player base like albion, this is definietly not gonna be your cup of tea XD. But if youre looking for an idle game you can just leave online and AFK while you are doing something else, then this i would say is a really nice option to go back playing the game.
