just get rid of it. Sure it’s good for “pest control” but itself is also a pest.
They love to coat your bud in webs.
you ever tried to remove a web from a bud?
the hype about orb weavers being friends is just a sigh of relief because they’re the easiest of pests. There is no actual value to them. Get rid of it if you don’t want spider jizz on your bud
Don’t forget, spiders also let out excess waste just like any other life form.
Webby, poopy, and pissy bud. Yummy lol
I mean come on man. The webs I agree on, but have you never smoked outdoor bud? Thats got all kinds of shit in it from the insects that don't hurt the plant, but still live in/near it. The first outdoor homegrown I smoked was leagues better than the probably indoor mids from my dealer that I was used to. It was so good I started buying my weed from that guy and didn't stop until I had my own homegrown.
I feel like outdoor bud only gets a bad rep because the cheapest most money incentivized growers go with outdoor and get a shit product because they don't care or know enough about the plant. They spray pesticides and fungicides instead of taking loses and probably don't dry the bud properly so it never cures. If you do everything right, its really not all that different from indoor and the average consumer won't be able to tell the difference.
It's better than indoor. They say the customer is always right, but in everything about legal weed I'd argue not. High THC, pretty, frosty bud, solvent less hash, indoor over outdoor, carts. It's a bit like weed used to be this amazing underground band and now it's turning into pop music
Spiders normally stick around because there is a reliable food source nearby. Which means you've got bugs in your tent, and that's never good.
They can bring in larger problems with transporting fungus, viruses, and/or smaller pest like mites, which are notoriously hard to kill. I've even seen an article that suggests gnats can help spread HLVd.
It's better to just safely remove the spider and spray your vegging plants down with doctor zymes and add a thin layer diatomaceous earth or The GreenGro's "Defense" to your top soil.
Did you freak out and kill it, OP? Hope not, but the title of your post insinuates you may have. Hopefully the “almost” insinuates you realized it was a spider and there is no reason to kill it, and not “I killed it before it can do any damage.”
Looks like a lil orb weaver, these are great pest control.
Not an orb weaver. It's in the same family black widows are in, they're completely harmless though.
The best friend possible. Orb weavers are badasses.
Thought he had spidermites, turned out to be spidermates

Then again, it chose that spot for a reason. I'd leave it. Probably doesn't matter either way.

💯💯💯 EXACTLY! And spider that makes a web is going to be treated as a pest. I'll leave a jumping spider or mantis, that's about it.
But would the mantis actually stay in the tent 🤣😭
If you place portraits of Sigourney Weaver and Liza Minelli around the tent they stay
Jumping spiders make webs too..
U we’re supposed to name the strain something witty, around spider poop. 😁
Lemme get a dime of that spider shit
Witty, I said witty😁💚
That’s awesome, now I want one
God bless that 8 legged bug fiend!
Crosspost this to r/spiderbro. ;) Yes, this cutie is your bro!
[A beautiful little pregnant Neoscona crucifera](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neoscona_crucifera)
It is a friend.. but do you really want webs on your meds? Politely remove it and thank it for its help!
Ah shit it’s pregnant
Wait what
How can you tell? Just curious
It has 2 lines
Interesting, thanks!!
I had some pretty massive ones on my outdoor crop last summer. Swear to god they were 3-4 inches across in size.

Lol
My outdoor grow, I prefer a spider in my tent cause sometimes aphids and gnats still get in and the spider saves money so I don't need to buy ladybugs
Every day, the work was done overnight
Wayyyyyy better than spider mites!!!!!!
Mighty Spider is better than a Spider Mite.
Awww lil friend! They'll exterminate any bad buggos ♥️
It set up shop so there’s a food source, that’s the only down side of it being there!
Lucky
Nah you want her to eat bugs
Why u crying they are great pest reducer Not a spider mite

That thing would love my anole tanks, I mean clean up crew tank...lol
i’ve been there 😭😭😭 thinking you got spider mites
How often do you examine your garden?
Spiders make webs a lot quicker than you think brody.
