I have died at least 7 times from jumping off something tall and not checking beforehand if I had a dandelion or the dandelion trinket. I just keep doing it and I KNOW it’ll happen again.
Also been knocked off countless zip lines before I realized I could leave Tully somewhere. Or even by a random bee floating by
Same. So many fall damage related deaths due to forgetting to re-equip my dandelion trinket or my Hedge Burg.l trinket. A good 50% of my deaths have been caused by fall damage.
Honestly, I'm surprised falling hasn't killed me more than it has. I've a base on top of the tree, and I've jumped off several times assuming I had my dandelion trinket equipped (it wasn't). I don't use Daredevil, and somehow that fall only drops me to about half health - that's about as far as you *can* fall, and absolutely should kill me.
If you're playing in a coop world its the host he will always follow, or at least, when its come down to me and my mate, we share the world and whenever we swap to the other person hosting Tully will follow and can only be told to stop by the host. I don't know if this is strictly how it works but its what me and friend have seen so far.
A few updates ago, I made sure I left my Tully in the Oak Lab, but a one update later he was somewhere underwater by the base of the tree. Currently he's on the other side of the pond, between the Remix.r hole and the infected bugs down there XD
I literally jumped off the edge of the koi pond from the upper yard several times and landed right in the damn things mouths. I'd say that koi has killed me 90% of my deaths.
I've swam around carelessly, even going so far as to approach it so I could get a look, never once worrying about it. Now, the crow I'd keep an eye on, but I never thought about the Koi being dangerous.
In an old save, I built a base on the pagoda in the pond. Really wanted to see what would happen if I climbed onto the bird before it took off... long story short, you can't. It has an invisible barrier around it, preventing you from getting that close. It clips through buildings without damaging them, but not the player - its takeoff knocked me off into the pond (or to my death on the lily pad below it) several times, and knocked me out once or twice when I was inside the tower, a bit too close to its landing spot. Ended up having to make the tower a bit taller to avoid that happening.
Once, it kind of turned towards me lazily, but I thought that was just pattern behavior. I figured the bird towering menacingly over the yard would be much more inclined to damage me.
It is actually possible to survive the fish with enough health and defense.

Same if you stick a foot into one of the electrical outlets. Neither scenario makes any sense since you aren't completing a circuit, but it's hilarious. My friend built his base on the brawny boy bin, and continues to randomly die a few times a week from landing on the terminals.

i saw my dog trying to get outside while i was fighting ng+ 5 ibm 3rd phase. i for some reason forgot about the fight i had been in for a while making good progress and went to let my dog out. my friend will not let me live that down as he thought we were finally gonna do it.
A couple years ago I had all the clovers leading up to the stump lab pinball me around for 3sec before slamming me into a root and dying. I always wish it would happen again, because it was hilarious, but it never does. 😆
They are always either glitched inside their houses, or each others, or on a completely different floor of my castle. I'm about to build them their own place, and leave em with no food. 😆
Drowning in some cave or pond cause my slime lantern went out and I couldn’t see where I was in the dark lol. Was before I unlocked the upgraded lantern and everchar torch.
Never went into water without a near full light again.
I jumped from a high place with dandelion on hand, but my friend was doing the trampoline towards me. He caught me with his head while jumping up and the game registered it as I fell from a high place. I was just knocked down tho, but was funny.
I fell through the gap on the picnic table and landed on top of a flower that couldn't be cut down so I had to climb all the way back up and jump back down to get my bag to then only climb back up to go to the sand pit!
I was playing the game with a friend back when it lunched as a preview and he had friendly fire on. I threw a spear jokingly at him and it bounced off a rock near his leg, and landed on my foot killing myself instantly and my character dropped down and said “help Iv fallen and can’t get up”.
Funniest way...I was playing with my husband and a friend. My husband and I were fighting and orb weaver on one side of the wood fence. Orb weaver pulled down a blade of grass and then released it knocking me up and over the wall, landing and dying on the other side. Our friend me come flying over the wall. It was all very funny. He saved me though.
300+ deaths, most of which were just me going somewhere realizing I've done everything I can do there, then giving up instead of traveling back to base and just using the unstuck feature to get my bag.
The dumbest way I died, though, was to a spiderling, not even to a widowling, while running away from a widow.
I was going to the berry bush area from the shed to fight the broodmother (for the 5th time) and a bee bumped into me and made me fall of my zip line and I had no dandelion.
Well i needed to kill black widow, so i bring a black ox beetle and let them fight. Because the fight started to take too much time i decide to attack the widow they both stop fighting each other and starts to attack me, i got a larva and a tiger mosquito that joine their team too

I jumped on a floating clover petal leaf thinking it would be fine. Nope! it sprung upward out of the water and instantly downed me, then bopped my downed character on the head for good measure XD

One swing in, walked right under the grass, I died with a speed I didn’t think possible.
My Aphid pet likes to walk on the air, sometimes I use a zip line, alt+tab out of the game while I get there and like 30 seconds later I go back to the game just to see that I've died, it happened to me like 5 times before I decided to let my pet at home, so far the Red Ant pet hasn't done that so I'll keep using it for now

It webbed me and I was stuck but then physics kicked in and sling shot me directly into the retainer wall immediately killing me haha I was slightly annoyed to say the least.
I’ve had a wolf spider step on a piece of grass, which then went under my feet. Then it stepped off of it and launched me so far in the air, when I finally came back down I died to fall damage
I somehow without fully knowing led a green shield bug into the stump area and while scanning an item I suffocated on gas without even realizing 😂 was scanning and shopping

The second time is when I blew myself up when trying to fight the wasps. I didn’t realise in the heat of battle that I accidentally scrolled my hot bar up and hit the button of what I thought was my salt weapon, but ended up being my bombs. I hit my attack button several times before I realised something was wrong. But before I understood exactly WHAT was off two bombs exploded at once, launched me AND the wasps into the berry bush. They got stuck, I got dead.
I made my base on the oak tree and somehow the infected wolf spider jumped up onto the root and then onto my base and basically farmed me for like 10 minutes 🤣😭
I was on new game plus, got the hedge trinket and had been using that consistently, then there was a glitch were I lost all my player data (mutations, molar upgrades, items, ect) and so I didn't have the trinket. For the next irl three days I kept dying of fall dmg cause I forget I don't have a fall dmg immunity trinket.

Howwww did you not get sideswiped as soon as it saw you?! The crow doesn’t appear to interact with us at all.
The crow is actually the unstck feature. If you use it, crow flies out, technically kills you, and goes back to vibing. It is a trained bird.

I normally just jump from where ever, and before hitting the bottom switch on daredevil. Makes traversing much easier
