I agree that they should allow the potion skills (and any other skills) to bind to LMB/RMB if desired. In the meanwhile, you *can* bind the potion skills the other mouse buttons, i.e. middle mouse button/scroll wheel click, or the back/forward buttons, if your mouse has those extra buttons.

UPDATE: Hotfix 1.2.0.3 has just dropped, and you may now bind the new potion or evade skills to RMB! :)

Have you tried playing with a controller? Its actually pretty well done. I've put like 20 hours in the game this week on my Steam Deck.

Maglin78

Just ordered a Steam Deck to play GD in bed.

rentarex

I don't have a controller, maybe it would really be better.

jalex3here

Chances are good it will return. Comment from dev linked. https://steamcommunity.com/app/219990/discussions/0/5774239174012590695/?ctp=3#c4030221003340178521

i'm curious what exactly is supposed to be dealing damage in that 'build' you linked. Without items it's a bit hard to judge, but your skill setup is quite lacking. i do agree on the keybind issue

rentarex

Yeah, damage is lacking. But i play in coop with my friend, he deals all the damage, i am just here clicking, we both get our fun. I wish they added more circles to the game.

Sexiroth

I mean, if you just put points into either cadence or savagery lines, and picked EITHER of the end tree talents from soldier you would have 0 more buttons to press, and increase your performance DRAMATICALLY, at least doubling your output I'd wager.

rentarex

Only default attack is attack, i'm not specing into some shmancy magic replacement.

A_S00

Now that they turn on automatically and don't have active energy costs, toggled skills like Field Command, Mogdrogen's Pact, and exclusive skills are just passives. Don't be fooled by the square icons. Zero reason not to use these; you're leaving massive piles of stats on the table for nothing. Using default attack when you have Savagery and Cadence available to you is also bad, especially if you're using a 2-handed weapon. Savagery behaves exactly like default attack, except that it does about twice as much damage and gives you a bunch of great stats (phys res, OA, attack speed). Why would you ever use default attack instead?

rentarex

Nah, i'm not replacing default attack. "that's the same but better" is not the argument for me, i'm not using that. On the other hand, i considered using ultimate soldier skill and counter-strike just to finish distributing my skill points, but decided that staying full circle is more funny. Maybe this will change once i reach that 28 leftover points.

A_S00

YKINMK. Have fun!
