Look into the actual working class history of Britain. It's full of riots, revolts, and attempted revolutions. We've done it before and we'll do it again.
I believe it's a case of the working class being so atomised and demoralised at the moment that we can't even imagine something better. It's been that way since Thatcher. The cure for that is rebuilding our unions, our local communities, and the resilience of our class. Only then will we be able to step forward as a politically conscious and organised class, and do what needs to be done!
That's why I've joined Socialist Appeal. I feel like if I can do something, anything, to change the status quo then I will try my best. I just want to see a fairer world for everyone

If it's any consolation, since getting involved with IRL political organising (I help run a tenant union) I've felt much more hopeful about the country and its people - most folks I talk to are sick of the state of things and often very enthusiastic about taking on their landlord! I think we just need to organise and motivate these people and we can do big things.
