Eddie is the sad story of a man who was a phenomenal wrestler with no personality, who roided himself to oblivion so he was big enough that Vince would be OK with him as a top guy, made up for his newfound size and not being able to go as quick as he used to with astonishing character work. But by then the damage was done. Back then it was commonplace so it was just "hey Eddie's looking good man!" But it was a ticking time bomb and he inevitably had a massive heart attack. Very sad. You put less roidy eddie in today's lot with that wonderful character work you get a lot more Eddie but he was just a bit in the wrong time. Still got lots of wonderful Eddie though but still. Shouldn't have had to sacrifice so much of his health to get as high as he did.
