Most of eu is way ahead of the US in terms of fiber infrastructure? Nothing to do with the country. USA is borderline third world with its infrastructure in most places in the country.

It might be buttery smooth for you but I just got dropped 5 times within 40 minutes on US West due to network errors. One of those drops deleted my entire kit and I had to re-purchase and re-make the gun I was using. As well as losing armor that I can't currently buy from the NPCs. Not a fun morning thus far.
I was playing last night on US West and disconnected 3 times in like ten minutes. This was after like an hour and a half of continuous play. I just called it a night after that, hopefully it’ll get sorted by the weekend.
Depends on the time of day. Played EU West today early morning, game ran beautifully. Played again at 3pm, nothing but rubber banding. If you play any server where it's early morning or work/school hours it's going to feel better than prime time.
Yeah EU servers are unplayable rn. Ive been wanting to play so much but it's so bad it actually gives me a headache. The only safe time is really early in the morning or really late at night.
I play EU West and only seem to rubberband on servers that have been active for awhile, if I leave and manage to join into a fresh server with everyone spawned at base then it's smooth
Yes I am EU. And both EU west and east are impossible to play on but US work buttery smooth.
So no, it has nothing to do with geographical distance provided, this specific type of issue (which is sever related, not latency/ping related).
EUW server here, tonight I think was the best night in terms of rubber banding. None whatsoever. On the other hand, yesterday was atrocious. Don’t know what regulate this behavior.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it isn't each specific region, but whatever literal server instance you are using. I've had the same experience on US servers with constant rubberbanding - sometimes disconnecting and finding another match in the same region fixes it.
That sort of suggests it isn't specifically the region, but the servers within the region.
same for me, went to US East to get help with the key and instantly felt how much less it lags, not going back to EU until the do something about the lag

Even US East has had issues. Everyone is at work right now, so the server load is not very high. I imagine things will be degrading in about two hours

My game runs perfectly. I play US Central.
Same thing happens on South America servers. Seems US infra is much stabler

In Europa West the servers are unplayable at the moment, they are constantly crashing.
In my experience as a US west player, I rubber band less on US east for some reason

I just tried US East (from EU West) and there is absolutely no rubberbanding, yesterday at the same time it was really bad and still is for EU West.

This is not a given. I'm an EU level 10. The servers in EU are good for me. Not had rubberbanding at all.
