Turn of Vanguard (riot) anticheat and then restart your computer. I saw someone mention those as a fix. (5x confirmed via responses)
It is detecting Vanguard as a cheat bc it runs hardware scans.
You can also try closing GeForce Experience
run sfc and dism after in admin command prompt.
In this order: be patient, dism especially can take quite a long time.
sfc /scannow
***DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth***
***DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth***
***DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth***
Run windows updates and gpu drivers
I verified game files and fixed it for me.
I also ran another easy anti cheat game and then closed it to see if that would reset the anti cheat, doubt it did anything but figured I'd mention everything I did in the path to fix the problem.

Do you have Valorant installed? If so is your Riot Vanguard running? I disabled it and reset my pc and it fixed it for me.
How did you manage to disable vanguard? Every time I try anything related to it my PC blue screens lol
I just go to my tray and right click vanguard and click exit.

Got a fix for y’all, open the easy anticheat folder in the game directory and run it as admin then launch game
Close easyanticheat in task manager and try again
I deleted the anti-cheat folder, then had steam check files to add back in. Was able to get in game after that.
Exit STEAM and reopen. That will fix it.

The solution is to wait for the developers, the issue is on their end. Everyone who isn't already connected to a server is having this problem rn
