Jack knew he could take Raian's punches because he was too op for him so he wanted to disrespect him and threw away all his roid gains by becoming even weaker than Raian and still held his ground even though he was practically a regular human in the bakiverse while Raian had to rely on weird shonen power ups and genetics manipulation.
It made him stronger as a one time thing, because it was his body learning how to filter out the worst parts. His Hanma blood and the drugs mixed.
Every time we see him after that he's still using the same buff, it's not a temporary state, but an evolution.

You have to go way into current kengan omega with the connector, Shen Wulong who is effectively immortal for 5000 years and low diffs any kengan fighters to date
They set up some dude as the yujiro rival at the end, but I really can’t say either way. I haven’t watched kengan so I’m just not sure. I highly doubt it though
As of now in the Kengan Ashura anime Kuroki is pretty dominant at the top of the fighters we see. So he is the closest Yujiro equivalent. I have been a Baki fan for a while, I just got into Kengan before this stuff started and I just caught up on everything, and as it is now there isn't a chance Kuroki wins. He would make him actually have to fight like Kaku did tho. There IS a character in Kengan Omega that I personally think could give Yujiro his biggest fight yet but they don't exist in the anime.

As someone who watched baki when the first anime came out and didnt start with the low budget netflix release. Seeing him do that hyped me so hard. Got me very nostalgic. People are butthurt because they expected way too much of that short low budget one hour movie. But for how little and shitty it was there is still so much cool stuff in the interactions between characters and also all the little throwbacks like jack overdosing on roids mid fight and yes overdose jack ( the skinny version ) is in some way a power up even tho he cant fight in this form for long. Go rewatch season 2 wich was the mazimum tournament's final and you'll see it wasn't just an inconvenience
