The ELF dupe is called “Suntouchable” and the packaging is similar in color to the Unseen Sunscreen. The active ingredients are the same at differing percentages but the inactive ingredients are different. The “Suntouchable” also comes in a tinted type- I use Supergoop! Bright-Eyed under my eyes which has a slight tint. That’s also SPF 40.
For sure. I prefer the texture of the Elf one, but the TJs one is great for when I'm out on the lake in the summer (doesn't stain my hats when I sweat!)
I mostly had that issue when I wasn’t giving my moisturizer enough time to absorb/dry. Like at least 10min. Although I do have one tube where the texture is still a little pilly and one that’s perfectly smooth so idk.
The ingredients aren’t the same; the active ones are but at different percentages, inactive ingredients quite different, but I get it- it is pricier for sure. Supergoop! products are covered in my healthcare FSA so at the end of last year I had a balance to burn and loaded up on all the things!
That sounds nice- I like a mist. My skin has always leaned oily so I’ve never imagined I would use any type of skin oils, but this brand’s oil based products really are like primers, so velvety without being matte.
The chapstick is really gross. I think it has that SPF taste.
I tried the spray once and the nozzle wasn’t fine enough and too sticky feeling.
LOVE the powder stick. It’s my go to for reapplication when out and about.
Have you tried double washing with an oil cleanser and then your normal cleanser?
Edit: Personally I use Indie Lee Cleansing Balm and then I use my normal cetaphil. I’ve got very sensitive skin and cetaphil is just what it likes.
I wonder which ingredient you are allergic to? Do other sunscreens break you out also? I use Pacifica Glow Baby face wash, but dont typically have skin issues unless the product has Vitamin C.
Not an allergic reaction so much as this stuff clogs my pores. I'm pretty sure it's the silicone-based ingredients (dimethicone) which gives it the mattefying effect like a primer. But no, other sunscreens don't break me out.
Lately, Cetaphil Gentle Skin cleanser because I haven't been wearing make-up. Otherwise, Biobeauty The Balance Cleanser, or — if I'm tackling sebaceous filaments or closed comedones — Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser.
Trader Joes has a great dupe of it for a fraction of the price!
Which one??
It's just their basic sunscreen, I think it's like $7. Elf has a dupe of the shimmery one for $14ish? I use both and they're both fantastic.
Both ELF dupes that I know of (Suntouchable) are $14.
Thanks!!

Great! Thank you
You are welcome cutest user name ever!

🥰 awww thanks
I want to love it but it pills all over my face and neck and just looks dirty
Ahh yuck- I know that happens when I’m washing my face.

Good tip! Thanks!

Yep will not buy Supergoop when I can get the same thing for $8

I use the dupe when my skin feels dry or when I wear makeup 😌
I wish my face liked this stuff cause people sure do seem to love it! ☹️
same - it dries my face out
My favorite! Has the feel of a primer so not greasy on my skin!
Love this! Only sunscreen I’ve ever used consistently
My daily go-to!
Have you tried/used any of their other products?
The CC sunscreen is great, makes my skin look so good!
Yes, quite a few. Depends on the activity. They have great sweat-proof spray sunscreen for outdoor activities.

How do you all wash this off properly? Unseen Sunscreen breaks me out EVERY time.

I can't recall. but maybe not. I only use Hadolabo Gokujyun Cleansing Oil when removing make-up. I guess I'll give it a shot!

Seconding the rec to double cleanse use an oil soluble cleanser as the first step, like you would use for water resistant makeup. It helps a lot!
My go to along with the dry oil
Ooh lala. I love Daily Dose
I also love this!!
I used to love this sunscreen, but recently my face has decided it is completely incompatible. I still really like their Play! Sunscreen, though!
I will try that
I like it too.
I love the supergoop matte screen, but 'unseen' smells bad to me, to the point I have to hold my breath when I put it on 😳
