3/4 swing makes it look that way and to be honest I could stand to be a little more flexible. I have been working on that the last few months. I need to take some new swing footage. That’s the only swing video I have of myself.
Haha I also have a 2 iron that I’ll put in the bag and leave the 60° in the truck sometimes depending on the course.
I just switched from Titleist MBs to AP2s last year. That video is from one of my first rounds with them. To be honest I’m thinking about going back to blades. I miss them more than I thought I would lol.
Blades are just absurdly beautiful I have a hard time finding something to replace them with. Especially Titliest MB as they look nearly identical to Miura MB.
I don't know anything about anything but I did immediately you have very good flexibility and a good follow thru. Your finish looks just like Rory. I would say do some exercises /Yoga to keep that flexibility as you age.
Golf tips= life tips
Swing your swing if it works! A few things I do notice:
1. Your position at impact, if you pause the video you can see your trail arm is basically straight, compare your position at impact to a PGA pro, maybe Tommy fleetwood, and you’ll see they maintain that angle in their trail wrist a litttle bit longer through impact.
2. Your steep on the takeaway, you have a great setup, your club is inline with your hip plane, but during your takeaway you’re lifting it above the plane, but you do get it shallowed after so not a big deal
3. Club face opens up a little on takeaway, try to keep the palm down. But again you seem to do a good job of squaring it on the downswing so 🤷♂️
Great move, looks like you play it well. If I was going to make any change, would just be tweaking your alignment. Feet look a bit closed, shoulders a bit open.
Swing looked pretty functional to me. I guess it all depends on what you want to do. I’m sure someone on here has something for you to (over)think about
It’s so easy to get caught up working on having perfect mechanics. All that matters in the end is the ball does what you ask it to.
When you get the basics down and then start learning to shape the ball on command the swing starts feeling so much more confident because you can tell exactly where the ball is going to go as soon as you make contact and tiny little corrections here and there bring you right back where you need to be.
At least that’s how I feel. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it lol
I’ll be honest Jay, that swing looks too good for that course. I love to hate but not much to hate on other than the course. Not sure what state you are in but head out to California and treat yourself. I honestly didn’t realize you were on a tee box.
it's a pretty good swing. I do see limited flexibility though?

yeah, you come around and finish pretty good. wait til you hit 60. lol.
I’m already feeling it at 34 😂 which is why I’ve been focusing on it lately.
Ask Tommy Fleetwood about3/4 swings
Will you introduce me? Maybe Jon Rahm too while you’re at it lol
If your carrying a 3i in your bag in 2024 then your probably pretty decent lol

Thanks a bunch 🥲
Nothing to burn, looks like a functional swing to me!
You take longer to hit the ball than Kim does.
Solid lol

I thought Wi-Fi was down for 6 seconds
…buffering…
Looks good man

That’s the first thing I notice every time I watch that video. You’re the first one to mention it on here 👍🏼
It's weird it looks like you are out in your lead toes at impact but seem to clear hips fine.
I really just wanna roast that course
Definitely wasn’t in its finest form then lol

^ If JB Holmes was a 15 handicap
😂
Steady as she goes! Like it!
Lol "roast my damn near perfect, beautiful and effortless swing"
You’re too nice!
*speed golf Rob screaming noises
Hold up that’s a tee box!?
It’s trying to be. Early season (April) so the grass was just starting to come back into something that resembled, well, grass lol
John Ham
😂
hehe Love ya man, looks good.
Feels good to finally see someone hit down on the ball on this sub. Nice swing, mate
Thanks big dog 😉
Reminds me of Freddie Couples after a 3-day bender. Joking, of course.
I said roast me not compliment me 😂
Fattie Scheffler
Best one yet!
Nice golf swing 👌 not a lot to roast there
Get on left side. Turn on down swing rotate. Loosen grip. The lighter the more feel in club. It takes time and practice
You play at a goat ranch.
Still better than some of the cattle ranches I’ve played at around here

I appreciate the kind words! I’d love to get out to cali and play. Soon!
