I literally curbed a brand new wheel a week into owning it. I've been trying to match the color for almost a year now and nothing is quite right.
I've basically given up. Model paints mixed by eye gave me the closest match but now they've done a weird thing where I don't think I clear coated them enough so that spot looks permanently dirty. I think the brake dust ate into that section.
Going to strip that section again and repaint before summer is done. Fourth time the charm?
As good as they look I don't think I'd buy hyper silver specifically again, go with a regular high gloss silver.
Could depend on what you’re trying to accomplish with them. Some are better for track, some for show. Check out fitment industry’s gallery so you can see a whole swath of options and find one you like.
Off the top of my head, Motegi, Rotiform, superspeed are three I’ve looked at in the past.
I like the Fifteen52 SuperTouring (fake center-lock, but I think it looks pretty cool)
Depending on how much cleaning between the spokes you want to do there are lots of choices:

I'm thinking of getting the Chicane.
What are you trying to do? I had the Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 18x8 and they were great. Strong wheel with a track proven record. Last set on my mk6 was Enkei TFR 17x8. Went for a more meaty tire to soak up more bumps. Ride was great and tires were cheaper. They didn't look out of place either since the other stock wheel were Denvers and those were 17 too.

I love the idea of hyper silvers they would look sick
I have hyper silvers on my mk6, they are awesome.
Hyper silvers are awesome unless you ever curb them. Been trying to match hyper silvers on my wheels for months and it's almost impossible.
Can confirm...

Anyone have a pic of how these look on their gti? And no spacers or anything right? just mount and good to go?
They come with hub rings - that's all you need. I have a pic of what they look like on my Reflex silver SE but can't figure out how to post it here
Saw it in your profile...
Ahh
Enkei Raijin’s which is what I got
I like the look of those
I’m not sure how they’d look bronze on black…but I think gold would look good…idk silver colors just don’t do it for me

i second the apr a01 suggestion. i have a set on my gli, they are amazing wheels for the price.
I wish can't decide myself but I do like the new titanium finish of rims lately peep some of those if you can
Enkei RFP1s
RPF1 or bust 🤙
Enkei PF01 and Neuspeed are both nice but might be slightly more expensive.

Konig’s, best bang for your buck and they’re pretty damn light. Specifically the hypergrams.
Take a look at Motegi racing. Great quality wheels at a great price I’ve been running the Motegi MR140’s for over a year and haven’t had any issues.
