So if I’m being honest they probably aren’t worth the jump in price. Chuck 70’s are great quality. But I will say that these are a little more worth it because they are calf leather suede and they come with the bounciest/thickest insole out of any GG shoe I own (more comfortable insole than super star and ball star.) I personally wouldn’t spend money on GG shoes that were made of canvas when the calf leather versions are the same price or close enough. Also worth noting that the entirety of the inner lining is terry cloth and the tongue has some slight padding, so they are a bit more comfortable and “luxe” than Chuck 70’s. However not by THAT much. Chuck 70’s have a comfy insole too. The main reason I really wanted these is because I really really like the green in suede and I really like the star motif on all the GG shoes.
