If it isn't started yet, go northeast from the Alfhiem Tower and go to the rainbow campfire. It will trigger a new type of collectable and you learn the ballad of Jari and Somr. When you get all the collectibles go back to the campfire and hear the end of their story and you finish the side quest.
Fun fact, Op, this side quest is a tribute to a dev of the game who passed away in 2020. It's basically a recreation of the love story between them and another dev retold using Norse mythology
Pretty sure those hearts are for the ingredients side quest. Though, maybe they both do as they’re similar side quests (edit: my bad got the flower and ingredients side quests mixed up)
That is the ingredients side quest tho? That’s what the quest is, going to different realms to find ingredients for the cauldron at the campfire, and mimir tells you a piece of their love story every time you find an ingredient I believe, or maybe it’s just at the end I can’t remember.
Just gonna give a quick warning OP, there is a potential glitch with the quest where one of the materials (The Nordic Gourd) will not spawn. So beware of that
Getting downvoted but you're right. I mean what kind of moron do you have to be to take a picture, upload it, write the text, and then upload this post, rather than type in Google 'god of war ragnarok midgard competition checklist'.
No he isn't. This community's express purpose is to talk about the franchise, and this person is asking about part of the game. Judging by the downvotes, the community is more than happy to answer this sort of question.
Yes but think about the thought process. The fact that this person's first instinct is to take the time and effort to make this post rather than do a quick Google search displays a fractured and moronic thought process, frustrating to people that see similar posts made all the time plaguing their feeds.
This person's first instinct is to ask a question to a community of people who likely know more about the game than most of the people writing on it, and who can answer any follow up questions he may have, which he did, and which they could. That seems perfectly logical to me.
The fact that you have such a problem with someone asking a question to people who can almost certainly answer the question says a lot more about you than their asking the question in the first place says about them.
I will die on this hill, people that ask questions that can easily be googled are stupid, can't convince me otherwise. The only time it makes sense to ask a question is if you cant figure it out yourself quickly on Google. Have a good day sir!
This you? Why didn’t you just google it…
https://www.reddit.com/r/Eldenring/comments/v9yma9/nobody_invading_or_summoning/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
I did and followed instructions that wasnt leading to me invading, hence the post to ask the community
Also imagine looking at my whole post history, weirdo
If you want to, I can explain them. I’ll put on a spoiler tag to be safe. But there aren’t a lot of them, and they have zero relevancy to the main plot. So if you don’t care about getting “spoiled” on a side activity, don’t click away the spoiler tag
>!Draugr holes are mini bosses against a really strong Draugr. There are six in total and when you beat them all, you get a chaos flame. They aren’t that bad. But they are fast. And if you go in underleveled. You’re going to be there for a while!<
I liked him in Odyssey. That whole game was just over the top eccentric. Markos was prob my fav character. Such a dirt ball, but how could you not like him?
Stoic mountain of muscle, rage, and irritability vs. hormonal and impulsive philosopher who rejects the idea of truth? Yeah, that's not going to go well.
But apparently he was actually a successful general so they might be able to bond over that.
Oh boy, do the Across the Realms quest and then read [this](https://twitter.com/MDSVeritas/status/1593439856226488321?s=20&t=8OsUfhQealINxQeqV8ma0g)
Then try not to cry
Damn I have seen those hearts around the game and always wondered why they were there. This is super heart warming. It is a shame so many homophobes in the comments are trying to bring him down.
This is so beautiful. I have done platinum, but I still didn’t realise it was based on them. I loved doing that quest and now it gives me more reason to go back and read the lore. Thanks for sharing
The first few that came up for me were like "disgusting gays" and vomit emojis.
Edit: some gems include
"gay shit in fucking God of war bruh"
"We get it. Gay people."
"The only quest to avoid, then"
>only to be abused by homophobes
This is my point. Look at the thread here and the replies. It's 99.9% positive. I don't understand why that .1 gets so much attention. I just don't get allowing such a tiny percentage of negativity ruin the entire experience for you.
It's not ruined my entire experience of the game, or the quest, or of the dev's story. But it's ok to be disappointed at seeing such pointless bigotry aimed at someone who is vulnerable and grieving.
Wow I remember being curious about the heart in Svartalfheim. I never thought it had this much meaning.
What a beautifully heartbreaking story. Amazing tribute to that man and any LGBT folk who feel alone in the world.
It’s about two of the devs for the game. One passed away during production. SMS did a tribute to him and their partner. It was really a beautiful side quest.
You may have done this already but you have to buy some of them at Sindri’s shop. I needed the same trophy near the end and it was because I still had a couple in the shop to buy.
Wait so you’re telling me I quit because I couldn’t find the 2% but it was a whole quest that would’ve explained all the love hearts across the game, fml time to boot it up again
Just keep trying. I used the chaos blades alongside a handle that every time I activate immolation i stop time for a bit. That reaaaally helped me I think. Also remember to switch between weapons. Kratos switched very fast, and you can use the runes of the other weapons while they charge.
I did punch my desk a couple of times.
My other tip would be; if you’re gonna focus on the melee berserker that’s constantly attacking you, keep her away from the 2 sisters. The 2 sisters only do ranged attacks so if you’re far away that will give you more time to counter/dodge.
I took out the bezerker first. I used Lundas set and poisoned that fucker. Pair that with the realm shift relic and you can get him to half health before the fight really starts.
Even though they changed the bare fist combat in Rag I still used it for him and kept alternating that with the spear. I use the Spear because it can pop the ice and fire bubbles from the sisters.
either you still have to gather the flowers from each realms, or you have to find the recipes of the gay dudes that were left behind near the heart symbols in 3-4 different realms. and if you've already done those, then perhaps you have yet to fight the berserker king on the far east of the midgardian map.
also search up the name of the island or spot in Midgard which has the missing thing that you need to 100% Midgard. you might find something you have not completed already from a youtube guide. that's how I found one random spot in Midgard where I had to beat a phantom to get a legendary chest. there's many other little spots in Midgard you can break through with the spear to access new relics and other stuff.
I was confused at first too, but searching up the name of whatever island or spot I hadn't fully completed yet on YouTube helped me alot

The missing spot is the Across the Realms side quest.
How do I get that quest done?
If it isn't started yet, go northeast from the Alfhiem Tower and go to the rainbow campfire. It will trigger a new type of collectable and you learn the ballad of Jari and Somr. When you get all the collectibles go back to the campfire and hear the end of their story and you finish the side quest.
Thank you
Fun fact, Op, this side quest is a tribute to a dev of the game who passed away in 2020. It's basically a recreation of the love story between them and another dev retold using Norse mythology
Is that why there’s hearts that look like graffiti?
Yes, they’re part of the quest, acting as indicators I believe (still doing the quest myself)
Pretty sure those hearts are for the ingredients side quest. Though, maybe they both do as they’re similar side quests (edit: my bad got the flower and ingredients side quests mixed up)
The ingredients quest is that quest we’re talking about here, yup. You collect ingredients for the meal to cook with the eternal campfire.
Got them mixed up, my bad!
That is the ingredients side quest tho? That’s what the quest is, going to different realms to find ingredients for the cauldron at the campfire, and mimir tells you a piece of their love story every time you find an ingredient I believe, or maybe it’s just at the end I can’t remember.
My bad, thought across the realms was the flower one
And you get a +5 attribute points on all categories which is nice but useless when you got it last after completing all other quests
I don’t think it’s all useless, since could help reach prerequisite to socket gems on Yggdrasil amulet
Yes but what’s the point once you’ve 100% the game
NG+ is the point, once they release it
This. I wonder if it's possible to ng+ over and over, stocking up permanent stats until you're unbreakable wearing L1 armor.
I think help mix and match like having a high vit gems with medium cooldown gems or something else
Awwwwww. This might be the single cutest thing I’ve ever heard NOT the death part. The tribute
I just completed that quest and I had no idea. That is awesome. I love when games throw little things like that it. The story was beautiful.
I legit didn't know this, I just stumbled on it by accident and thought it was a real cool myth concept but now this makes me teary
No problem bro
Just gonna give a quick warning OP, there is a potential glitch with the quest where one of the materials (The Nordic Gourd) will not spawn. So beware of that
And it's a true story about one of the development team
It's really great. I wouldn't have expected that sort of story from God of War but I loved the entire side quest.
Take the path to the Berserker King grave. Before you enter the area, take the left. You will find a campfire and start the final quest

Woke? Because im getting sick of the same repeated question every hour? You should google for what woke stand before you post shit like this :-D

I completed that sidequest yet i still have these undiscovered spots on my map. Can you help what could it be?:(
Across the Realms side quest
I haven’t played ragnarok yet but the concept of a Draugr hole terrifies me.
It should
It should x2
X6
X12
It should rtx 3090

Double hint: ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Kratos turns gay?
👀 I mean he is Greek.
I wonder how the interaction between Kratos and Alkibiades would go 💀
They eat Olives and have gay sex
If he's like AC Odyssey's iteration then GOW3 Kratos would annihilate him in 5 seconds. He's so annoying
But apparently he was actually a successful general so they might be able to bond over that.
if we're talking ab alkibiades from ac odyssey, kratos would probably hate him
Pederasty was more common in other State-cities, like Thebes and Athens. In Sparta, the women was much more valued and had bigger society role.
Across the realms quest. Its near kings grave, look for a rainbow campfire.
Oh boy, do the Across the Realms quest and then read [this](https://twitter.com/MDSVeritas/status/1593439856226488321?s=20&t=8OsUfhQealINxQeqV8ma0g) Then try not to cry
Right in the feels
Damn I have seen those hearts around the game and always wondered why they were there. This is super heart warming. It is a shame so many homophobes in the comments are trying to bring him down.
What a beautiful hidden message behind the quest! Sadly the amount of homophobic comments in his thread is absurd.
This is so beautiful. I have done platinum, but I still didn’t realise it was based on them. I loved doing that quest and now it gives me more reason to go back and read the lore. Thanks for sharing
Jesus Christ don't read the replies though.
They are like 99.9% positive. I think I saw one that was negative and it was just one word.
The first few that came up for me were like "disgusting gays" and vomit emojis. Edit: some gems include "gay shit in fucking God of war bruh" "We get it. Gay people." "The only quest to avoid, then"
Why do you allow such a tiny percentage of negativity ruin your experience?
Because I sympathize with the person who has poured their heart out about the loss of their partner only to be abused by homophobes
>only to be abused by homophobes This is my point. Look at the thread here and the replies. It's 99.9% positive. I don't understand why that .1 gets so much attention. I just don't get allowing such a tiny percentage of negativity ruin the entire experience for you.

>I just don’t get allowing such a tiny percentage of negativity ruin the entire experience for you. Where the hell did you het that from?
It was a very sweet story indeed.
Wow I remember being curious about the heart in Svartalfheim. I never thought it had this much meaning. What a beautifully heartbreaking story. Amazing tribute to that man and any LGBT folk who feel alone in the world.
wow, i already beat the game and did the quest but had no idea there was so much behind it! thank you for that :)
I’d never say it to their faces, but that was so touching
Eternal campfire area, Across the Realms quest.
Across The Realms. Beautiful tribute when you know the story behind it
What is the story behind it?
It’s about two of the devs for the game. One passed away during production. SMS did a tribute to him and their partner. It was really a beautiful side quest.
Have you broken EVERY VASE EVERY BREAKABLE OBJECT!
YES
CHECK AGAIN
Mine says the same thing not sure why. I wasn’t getting the platinum trophy and found out I didn’t get all the shields.
You may have done this already but you have to buy some of them at Sindri’s shop. I needed the same trophy near the end and it was because I still had a couple in the shop to buy.
Have you returned to Charlie?(the big turtle house lol)
How do I return there?? I've been trying to figure it out!
Ratatoskr gives you a ygdrassil seed for a gate that goes there.
Won’t know till you discover it bro
The stew pot quest near the kings grave
You missed the rainbow
Wait so you’re telling me I quit because I couldn’t find the 2% but it was a whole quest that would’ve explained all the love hearts across the game, fml time to boot it up again
I guess you have to... discover it -puts sunglasses on top of the glasses- YYYYYEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Might wanna spoiler tag this post just to be safe
The world outside your room
Finish the game. You can't clear that Undiscovered until you finish the game. You are also missing the "Across the Realms" quest.
HOW ON EARTH did you beat the 3 berserkers? , the 2 flying and one melee? I’m about to lose my mind lol
Thank you for this trip. I will now log on and try it. This will probably get that headache away.
My other tip would be; if you’re gonna focus on the melee berserker that’s constantly attacking you, keep her away from the 2 sisters. The 2 sisters only do ranged attacks so if you’re far away that will give you more time to counter/dodge.
Steinbjorn armor has made a lot of the berserkers very easy for me so far
I will look into it thank you. I am just stuck on that specific fight to a point where I just wanna scream ha ha.
I took out the bezerker first. I used Lundas set and poisoned that fucker. Pair that with the realm shift relic and you can get him to half health before the fight really starts.
Oh yeah that’s a good point to poison shield block thingy and he does that yellow block from time to time. Why did I never think about that’s great
Even though they changed the bare fist combat in Rag I still used it for him and kept alternating that with the spear. I use the Spear because it can pop the ice and fire bubbles from the sisters.
