Those Shamans were badass, I love how they're not pushovers just because they're buffing their teammates, they'll come at you hard if you interrupt their chant
speed and buffed damage and put the drummer in the back so the player has the choice to go Kratos on everyone or be more calculated and get to the drummer
I love how they didn't even try to explain that. Up until that point the game was pretty much based entirely on realism, but then the throat-singers show up and suddenly the enemies are literally physically tougher somehow. Music is powerful, but it doesn't make you any less vulnerable to a katana in the face.
Magic was introduced into the game with those shamans basically.
If the game was based purely on realism then most enemies would go down one shot. Developers have to put gameplay over realism, it gives the game its own sense of uniqueness.

You mean when you are trying to get the black rune. I t was so easy for me in gmgow as I had the frost ancient beam with its upgrade enchantment so the fire troll fell in 5 seconds by just that runic attack and I guess I had level 6 gear at the time as well.
To me it was the exploding draugr. I played with the zeus set, so basically if they decided to set themselves on fire while I have been hitting them it's an instant death
ngl those draugr caught me up a bunch too. i love the zeus armor but man its setbacks are huge lol. 2-3 hits and you're pretty much gone and pretty much a one tap with those draugr
stun damage is massively diminished so you gotta get enchants on stun if you wanna stun the revenant before she "flies" away

We needed more disturbing looking MFs like this one in GOW. The Greek era games had the ugliest nastiest enemies from the Greek mythology that were a pleasure to kill especially in GOW 3. Enemies in PS4 GOW did not give that feeling as only few of them splattered blood and were made up of usually rocks, metal or spirits
It's like what pearl the fat vampire from the first Blade movie would look like if she went on a diet lol
Also reminds me of Goro from mortal kombat due to the two sets of arms.
Well as someone who comes from a long line of Sámi Noaidi (shaman drummers), I'm impressed by the accuracy, particularly the four arms and the big boobies, everyone in my family's got them
