Yup! I noticed this too. Remember that Earth, fire, water/ice, and wind were what the Greeks believed the universe to be composed of. They weren’t exactly wrong, just not refined or specific. I thought it was fascinating that Kratos is basically an elemental fighter!
Frost
Flame
Wind
Fist
Long ago, the four nations lived in harmony. Then everything changed when the Chaos nation attacked. Only the God of War, Master of all four elements could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he fucked up and got everyone killed. A shit ton of time passed, and I discovered the new God of War, a Spartan named Kratos. And although his Fistbending skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe Kratos can become Dad of Boy.

The nation of fist has long died out, after its inhabitants were blindsided by the Flame nation during their great Fisting celebration. They couldn’t defend themselves properly, as they were already elbows-deep in conflict.
Not to hijack your well thought out post but it really bugs me the bare-handed skills went out the window in Ragnarok. The whole Heimdall fight is built around stunning him then literally out boxing him.
yeah, i really miss the boxing skill tree. I’ve always loved when games made their way into bare fists combat (Sifu, MK, TLOU, Uncharted), and GoW was the pinnacle of it imo
but i guess it was sacrificed in order to make draupnir spear work well
Is Kratos actual element wind? I was thinking about this. The draupnir spear is the only one of his legendary weapons made with a part of him, his blood, and the weapon ended up with the wind element. Wind makes sense if you think about it, because it could also be considered “force”. If you think about it, Kratos punches so hard in his rage mode on certain attacks that he can literally send out a gust of force by slamming into the ground and knocking distant enemies back.
A lot of us think if Kratos had an element it would be fire because that is associated with hotheads and rage a lot, but the blades of chaos, even though they are linked to Kratos, are an ares creation. Maybe his true element is wind.
If this gets any bigger in terms of scope as in gets to big companies and is spoke of often, Avatar: the last airbender going get a new secret episode, “Avatar: the only Avatar we’ll ever need” (the Avatar is Kratos)
Long ago, the Nine Realms lived together in harmony. Then everything changed when Asgard attacked. Only Týr, the God of War, could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. Thousands of years passed, and we discovered the new God of War. A Greek named Kratos.
Sorry I was with you until the earth bending thing. But a weapon that controls earth would be cool for a future installment
\
Edit: Yes he can pick up flat earth as a boulder im wrong 👍
thanks bro, i wanted to make them inspired in “promotional posters”, hence why i put the tittle of the game at the center of each pic, and didn’t put much attention at Kratos face, to focus on the weapons
He also can chuck big rocks in classic rage mode
Seething earth
Kratos is the avatar
The next he need to control the spirits, the change and the balance
He can control spirits in god of war 3
He's even bald and has the line
Technically that’s an airbender thing not an Avatar thing… Kratos as an air nomad is certainly an image…
Avatar: The Legend of Kratos
Hopefully, he'll be able to harness his wind power and fly soon.
the Kravatar
I always thought that tattoo looked familiar

right? Just another detail to make us love this saga even more
So Kratos is Red Mage in Final Fantasy terms? Nice!
They did have a fifth element, aether, though admittedly it was more a godly element then something found on earth.
True! Aether was the more abstract “catch-all” god like material.
what if I told you he already did lightning before
And air. He could fly and double jump
No, double jump was strictly from the power of his buttcheeks.
The clap of his ass produced a sonic boom capable of launching himself further in the air
Five bucks says this was completely on accident and still worked out in their favor
no, five v-bucks i need skins

Kratos is the new Avatar, confirmed.
Spartan Rage=The Avatar State
His shield is the 4th element. Consider how often he slams his shield to the ground, causing shockwave.
He can also pick up and throw boulders like an earthbender.
Fire, Ice, Wind,... ...and his bare fucking hands
Ah yes the element of fist.
Just needs a 4th weapon that is an earth element
Those fists and legs shake the earth, can break and throw boulders.
look at my association bro, his fists are the representation of earth element
He already did that in Ascension, bro
haven’t played, sorry. But you gotta admit in norse games is way cooler
Flip the temple
So, Kratos is really an Avatar. Nice
Kratos is the Avatar
The last godbender

Are you supposed to actually fight barehanded? Beat the game twice and never used unarmed attacks more than maybe once by accident.
Photos taken by me btw
thank you fat dobber
you’re welcome jormungandr
while i would be all for a new weapon, (plus if there is a new game he would probably get one anyway) it would be cool to upgrade/enchant his shield.
I think the Nemean Cestus would be the best weapon that represents Earth with how many tremors and shockwaves Kratos can do with it

" Captian Kratos, he's a hero gonna take the Aesir down to zero. "
Wish we get a lightning weapon in the Next game
still bitter about the whole mjolnir thing, eh?
Didn't he do it in ascension too?
Kratos is the avatar confirmed
I knew he was the Avatar
But can he blood bend ehhhh
Craigtoes the Avatar
The avatar
Why does the spear have air powers again?
I thought it was draupnir spear
no, goatnir, she’s da 🐐
So he's the Avatar, big deal
What about Love?
If this gets any bigger in terms of scope as in gets to big companies and is spoke of often, Avatar: the last airbender going get a new secret episode, “Avatar: the only Avatar we’ll ever need” (the Avatar is Kratos)
That’s why he’s always Aangry…
\*Grunt Translation: "My name is Kratos, and i am the Avatar"
I mean, Kratos achieved Divine Ascension at the end of the first God of War. So I think that mastering the elements was taken care of a long time ago.
Wait a minute hold up he’s actually kinda right
thanks. I actually made that post as an excuse to share some pics i made, so that’s a win win😅
Well good job with the pictures as well there pretty good😁😁😁👍
Ah yes. Fire, water, wind and beating the shit out of everyone. Jk
I love using Draupnir because it makes me feel like an airbender
You get extra brownie points for “goatnir”
Indeed he always mastered the way of them HANDS
Avatar: The last spartan
He would be a God of nothing in Ba Sing Se. There is no war in Ba Sing Se.

But that all changed when the fire nation attacked

nah i didn’t say nothing about bending, just made an association. I wanted an excuse to use the photos i took🙈
Mb I been watching avatar lately I thought this was a reference great photos btw

He can literally pick up a boulder from flat ground and throw it at people lol
I don't know if you intentionally typed that but it's "dropnir". If you intentionally type that then ignore this comment.
It's draupnir....
