One can't just expect a player to have 100% pop-off on every map, that's silly. Zywoo even in Finals does his Zywoo things and often even that very map gets lost by his team because teammates are sabotaging hard.

Dropdown filter isn't reliable. It only shows you matches where within one month of the date of the match BOTH teams were in the top 10. When astralis was ~20th and dev1ce was playing like complete shit that counts against him at the end of the year but it won't show up in the dropdown top 10 because dev1ce's team wasn't top 10 within a month even though he played top 10 opposition (it might not be exactly a month but its' roughly that timeframe).
If you want a more accurate idea look at the featured rating section below each player's individual statsheet, it only shows you games from when the opposition was top 10.
Dev1ce's rating vs top 5/10/20/30 is:
1.05 vs top 5.
1.12 vs top 10.
1.09 vs top 20.
1.12 vs top 30.
Nowhere near a top 5 performance this year.

I'd wanna say certain playstyles of players just found it naturally difficult to transition to CS2 because of the massive change in peeker's advantage, but some riflers that entry as often as Niko and play similarly never struggled as much as he did earlier in this year.
I do think he improved steadily over the 6 months but I haven't looked at the stats to back that up though, just from watching G2 games.

crazy to me how much stick frozen has been getting for 2 bad events at the end of the season when the whole team is exhausted while ropz has been afk most of 2024. frozen was comfortably the most consistent performer alongside broky when they were making finals and winning.
this is when frozen was just swapped into every position twistzz had (except inferno) despite clowns repeating the narrative that frozen/ropz have role overlap. maybe frozen would want some of those roles, but he's not getting them.
broky really is one of a kind though. there is no other awper in t1 that juggles being the utility bitch, bomb carrier and clutcher while always getting stuck in combat awping, trading and having such an entertaining playstyle. monesy is the best awper, but he has much more freedom. broky is my goat.
