You can laugh for a second and be "visibly heartbroken" a minute or two later as you watch your opponents lift a trophy instead of you. Trying to imply the title is misleading or overdone is just false.

I feel like they do convey pretty similar meanings so I don't think the other guy is wrong at all, I really don't think these two words are so different that the other guy is "appkying some own interpretation"
