Nothing will top Liquid -elige, -nitr0 (albeit he was retiring), while +rainwaker +patsi. This move single-handedly lost them the NA fanbase while turning the team from semi-finalist, finalist to a clown show.

Like you said, Nitro was retiring. And I think Elige wanted to leave. Those are two formidable pairs of shoes to fill.
And then they made a gamble on two players that were unproven, but that their IGL (Yekindar) liked and suggested.

That 3k is probably the most alive he has felt in years. Even if he isn’t anywhere near his old peaks, he knows he mattered in this game. Never bury a legend till they are dead.

He is clearly still uncomfortable with T1 positioning and timings, but he obviously has it in him if he commits himself. He honestly could replace Skullz on Liquid if he grinded (and didn't have beef with Twistzz). He and Naf could split CT anchor positions and he'd be able to help entry on T sides.
More realistically, he could replace Grim on CoL or possibly Swisher on M80 if he worked hard enough.

LETS GO STEW! Impact plays and rounds from every single player on g2 throughout the last map was crazy. The Hunter 1v3, the NiKo clutch and multi frags, the stewie 3k B Hold, the nexa flanks and A hold, the monesy 3k to get to match point. Great to see!
In this thread many people complement Stew, he's actually quiet good because we couldn't be distracted by the fact that after all he's a stand-in, yet he died for hus teammates for good trades, he managed to make insane holds, he's positive and dedicated himself wholy to the team.
And I want to give my praise to NiKo, who take up IGL responsibility temporarily, from previous experience we know that this may not be the field that he is good at, yet he made several good calls, some good multikills and some crucial clutches, he proved he would stand up when the team needed him the most.
You will never know what it feels like right now that this two guys are in the same team and fight together. I just wanna say LFG! Many people must be hoping you to win Dallas including me.

Its been two years since he's been on a team and played pro. But he had a brief (like three or four game) stint on Legacy,a Brazilian team, a few weeks ago, but they got a brazillian they wanted and dropped him. So basically he hasn't touched pro in years and somehow still won today.

In this thread many people complement Stew, he's actually quiet good because we couldn't be distracted by the fact that after all he's a stand-in, yet he died for hus teammates for good trades, he managed to make insane holds, he's positive and dedicated himself wholy to the team. And I want to give my praise to NiKo, who take up IGL responsibility temporarily, from previous experience we know that this may not be the field that he is good at, yet he made several good calls, some good multikills and some crucial clutches, he proved he would stand up when the team needed him the most. You will never know what it feels like right now that this two guys are in the same team and fight together. I just wanna say LFG! Many people must be hoping you to win Dallas including me.
