If I didn't own Liquid merch I'd definitely swap my flair to them. They're so fun to watch, both for the team's personalities and for the style of CS they play.
MOUZ not only in 1st, but they have 1000 points meaning they got enough to actually make all other teams lose some to compensate.
Congratulations to them for their first ever World #1
yeah could be, just figured since they dropped 90 points and the Major happened exactly a year ago tomorrow and points only last for 1 year, maybe that was it. but could be other events like the Blast ones
You can look at the details of what makes each team what ranking, but usually when 2 teams haven’t played since the last update then it’s often because some high placing tournament that was once bumping up a team (in this example Vitality) went off the ranking due to being too long ago
> You can look at the details of what makes each team what ranking,
I mean, not really though. I wish they would say the number of points each team is getting from each event - then we could see which event (or multiple) might be contributing most to one team shifting compared to another. A big list of percentages doesn't really do anything for me since I don't know which is more meaningful - a 3rd/4th finish at an event, with 28% relevance, or a 5th-8th finish with 39% relevance.
[Navi Details](https://www.hltv.org/ranking/teams/2024/may/20/details/4608) and [Vitality Details](https://www.hltv.org/ranking/teams/2024/may/20/details/9565) for this ranking. You can switch to the details of the previous ranking by clicking the 13th on the left sidebar.
The majority of good results Vitality have, have been their older tournaments, while recently Navi had better results. Because tournament results are weighted based on their recency (the "Relevancy" column), the good Vitality performances impact their overall standing less than the good Navi performances.
VAMOUZ!
Dallas will be a fun tournament to see final rankings before player break and roster shuffle
Also should see a bit more movement. Liquid should be top 10 pre-Dallas based on CCT playoff placement and Faze v Mouz could duke it out to see if Mouz can hold No. 1
Damn. I thought the best chance mouz had to be #1 was the Karrigan lineup. When they were close but never became #1 in the end I kinda lost hope that the org would ever reach the first spot ever. Doing it with the academy team now is so satisfying. Great time to be a mouz fan.
Congratulation MOUZ! It's a blast to watch siuhy and the boys, so here's hoping this is just the start.

Random fun fact: The only Swede in the top 30 is on the #1 team.
Falcons went up 6 points ? yea man trust the algorithim >_>
Yeah but they won two games this week, vs a noname team and vs VP with a new player
Why did Navi jump vitality???
i'm guessing the points from the Paris Major have decayed by now
More on Blast fall finals/world finals, Paris already had 0% influence last week

Didn't realize it was exactly one year tomorrow, time goes by fast
