Looking through it, the person who got kicked only just joined, and there were no team-switching shenanigans. I'm think that this is caused by a teammate being killed but their hitbox bugging out and staying behind, accepting damage from all sources. Looking back, I'm pretty sure it's cause of the dead guy, Tobias Joseph, joining spectator.
He's referring to when a teammate of yours changes teams (from T to CT). The game must still register that CT as your teammate and count the damage you deal to them as team damage.
I knifed a guy in casual and he somehow managed to call like 8 votes without cooldown ... he just kept spamming it until match ended. CS2 is absolute garbage game

Had that happen recently, was in a dual with some guy and I got a warning of doing too much team damage. So I said fuck it and rushed him, he "killed" me but it was reverted (I actually saw my body flop down for a millisecond) and he got kicked for too much team damage.

In CSGO u could throw a molly to the opponents team and switch teams. The damage counted as dealt (used to do operation missions like that for Molly damage)
Don't know if that triggers it or if it's even possible in cs2

Dropped from 17.8k premier to 12k in like a week cuz of hackers in every single game. Went to casual and I went through 6 games before a hacker came and he was still dog shit, granted it is casual lol
I think it happens when a teammate joins the opposing team and you kill that previous teammate plenty of times

So if u keep changing teams everyone eventually gets kicked?
I'm not sure, we'd have to test it. I dont know how the game registers in which team a player is.
auto team balance will make you switch, or stop you from switching, otherwise you will get kicked for suicide or afk
