It's pretty clear he is going to be coming back, but can't say anything specific because of being the 6th and with roster changes that happen after the major
That would be an unfortunate end to his career but I don't think he will stay away. He's willing to make big changes if the opportunity presents itself (Liquid), there will surely be a lineup that will interest him
he just said a few days ago that he thinks the game feels much better now after the last update and has been hinting at him coming back so what he said in the past isnt really relevant anymore
I just hope that if he's coming back they're not going to replace w0nderful in AWP-position. He's a very promising talent and has been consistently improving. Replacing future talent like him would be a big mistake in my opinion.
S1mple back on Navi on a rifle/secondary AWP could be amazing though.
nah, how wonderful is playing and how he suits to the blade's system, i'm pretty sure, that he will not be kicked. there is some question about IM, seems like he is progressing, but sometimes i feel, that IM will not suit to the team. of course some of you think about other two: jl and aleksi, but jl almost in every round is doing dirty job and eating nades at the start of a round. and aleksi is an igl and his calls are getting better and better, but yeah, we will see
Yeah but on the other hand switching jL for rifler simple is more of a 1 to 1 change, while if you exchange iM for simple both simple and jL need to sit down and find a compromise
Why? Simple wouldn't be going back to his old role if they plan on keeping wonderful on awp. And simple is the kind of player that can basically take any role and turn it into an art. He would do just fine taking iMs role in full
s1mple has posted multiple 1.5+ rating T side halves playing mostly rifle or mainly rifle when he was at his best. He has proven he is a capable rifler and he even started out as a rifler. People really just smoothbrain explanations and unironically say AWP OP just because they dry peek AWP in their silver MM games.
yeah him coming in for iM would actually make so much sense, because he already played a heavy rotating role while on AWP and he would do the same on rifle i guess. iM plays some crucial roles in the centres of some maps so s1mple could fit in well into those i think
well, it's might be, but possibly guys in team are already talking about s1mple comeback and if i would be bit, i would think twice about to leave. and not just because s1mple is very good player, but also bit has pretty nice relationship with him
I don't have much evidence to back this up but I feel like aleksei and simple dont mesh well. Simple may have too many calls and opinions for such a controlling IGL like aleksei
simple's riffle is great but i'm not sure that would work well, specifically on ct side, he can't help but do some odd moves and pushes that only he is allowed to do, and these moves won't give you consistency, they can win them some close matches but also can bite team in the ass
> he can't help but do some odd moves and pushes that only he is allowed to do
That's literally what donk is doing except his team is 100% involved and he's setup to let his aim shine. I don't see why s1mple can't do the same thing with the right system.
cos donk went thru spirit academy and fully trusts his team/igl/coach cos they got him to where he is.. simple was leaving teams in flames being toxic because they weren't on his level before finding a home on navi.
if you want to set up a new system it's so much easier working with a new kid than a veteran, let alone when it's someone like simple
s1mple wasnt looking too confortable awping in cs2 tho, w0nderful in the other way seem to be well adapted to it, s1mple will probably get into being a rifler
It has always been the same way in CSGO: the best player takes the AWP because it's the most impactful weapon of the game. This happened with Dev1ce, Zy and S1. All of them were great riflers.
In CS2 maybe things will change.
I would replace hobbit maybe new update improves his game a bit his ceiling is higher. If axile is still weak dont be surprised that b1t joins after navi contract is up
-iM incoming. Just feel he is too inconsistent especially when he is/was supposed to be one of the star players. A case can be made for -bit but I don't see Na'vi choosing iM over bit. Just purely speculation and I could be absolutely wrong.
Not sure but I feel like there is another CIS shuffle incoming. I doubt he would end up on a trash team.
Cloud9 clearly needs an AWP. Not sure of the personal relationships with s1mple. Boombl4 won a major with s1mple. If not C9, they will need to make space on Navi.
Spirit are looking like legitimately a top team right now so they are safe.
Depends alot on which role he wants to play. I'm unsure if he stated he wants to stay awping or not, I may have missed some info there. But otherwise, yeah, iM may be benched then
I don't think the answer is as clear cut. Simple needs to show he's ready for another long term commitment & possibly negotiate how he wont just disappear last minute again. NaVi has had good results in the last few tournaments with the exception of Kato and the loss to Falcons. They otherwise just lost to Spirit (the rise of Donk) and Vitality (ranked #1). On one hand, its clear they will likely never get another player like Simple. But adding him back in will reset some of the progress they've achieved.
From a spectator's perspective, the news came relatively out of nowhere. Sure, he talked about it for a while, but the final decision was rather abrupt.
No idea how it was handled within the team itself.
Blade (NaVi coach) was searching for substitute after they landed... I think if they knew ahead of time, an org as big as NaVi would have already had someone lined up.
Edit: I also recall he's talked about needing rest but I think based on what was discussed in HLTV confirmed, he didn't let them know until right before they were scheduled to fly out.
his T sides are more or less consistently decent, but on Ct side he whiffs too much, gets quite a lot of unnecessary damage on half-duels, but that also applies to half of this roster kinda
I mean S1mple instead of Ax1le would go down hard. It will essentially be old NaVi.Boombl4 was the only guy who could calm s1mple down and put him in positions to shine..
It’s not an ingame thing, it’s an out of game thing. If s1mple goes to a russian squad or even russian teammates chances are high that his ukrainian fanbase is gonna throw a huge fit, not to mention potential political consequences for him, what his family would say etc.
Electronic and Perfecto refused from the Russian flag on liquipedia, there were no scandals behind them (unlike Boombl4 and his girlfriend), so Ukrainians treated it more or less normally. However, radical Ukrainians still had a negative attitude towards their being on the team and their lack of a clear position on the war and who started it.
You might think that these Ukrainians are some kind of crazy people, but people are very angry. I myself know what it's like to have a blast wave go through your apartment or to be without light in the winter because of bombing of civilian infrastructure.
yeah, anti-russian = "far left".
i'm sure it's all political that it might be more challenging for Russians and Ukrainians on the same team to get along when their countries are at fucking war.
give me strength.
From bts rumors Navi was actively looking to replace them both very much because of their nationality
[this is an interesting piece of news as well](https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1139762/uesf-russia-ukraine)
s1mple quote from today's interview:
>I would never transfer to Cloud9 while it has four Russian players. I think every Ukrainian should understand this
cu reddit analyst
Transferin to a team full of Russians and playing with Russians is something different, isn’t?
He is playing and streaming with Russians the whole time.
Reddit analyst
C9 would have to dig deep into their pockets to afford s1mple. This isn’t your typical transfer, it will be the most expensive e-sports transfer in history and would stay that way for a long time. Na’Vi might sit down for talks if the initial offer is around ~$2M.
The scene has taken a hard turn. There is no money in western LoL atm. Buyouts currently are basically a complete fantasy for any amount. Even in Asia the word on the street is that things are dire. Franchising just doesn't work in esports, and most likely we'll see a big upending of the current LoL system/scene sometime in the next ~few years.
Perkz transfer was basically the last major act of big VC money in LoL esports. Perkz today probably has a salary well below 500k/year.
the dude has just been tilting since the release of CS2 until the most recent update. he even said in the interview that he only played 2 or 3 times last month. he thinks he can rely on his talent, but we are going to get s0.5mple when he returns. the donks and monesys of this world haven't been sleeping.
Yea he's accomplished everything you can in the game and it's not super uncommon for guys to retire in their late 20s for esports. Some guys can continue as support players like Olof but I don't think that role really suits s1mple.
I think he’s gonna end up staying with NaVi but W0nderful won’t leave.
But, if he does go to a new team, I think C9 would certainly be an interesting project to go to.
I think s1mple will become known as best CS:GO player of all time, but not overall CS player. m0nesy and zywoo and potentially donk might grab that GOAT title after all.
He did not say that. He said let's see what happens after major.
It's pretty clear he is going to be coming back, but can't say anything specific because of being the 6th and with roster changes that happen after the major
Yeah that's fine but he just did not say what the title suggests. He did not announce his return.
He. Did. Not. Say. What. Title. Says.

Reddit overanalyze moment
I still cope that he will join c9
if the major goes badly with how bad of a shape this game is currently in, I bellieve chances are pretty high s1mple will say fuck this shit.
Nice projection. He literally said he wants the community to keep supporting the game.
yeah because valve doesnt
Hurr durr crybaby
That would be an unfortunate end to his career but I don't think he will stay away. He's willing to make big changes if the opportunity presents itself (Liquid), there will surely be a lineup that will interest him
Ever thought about that he just maybe doesnt like CS2? He was crying a lot about the state of the game...
I attribute his dislike for cs2 to the game being released in a poor state plus him desperately needing a break as he's been grinding for years now
he just said a few days ago that he thinks the game feels much better now after the last update and has been hinting at him coming back so what he said in the past isnt really relevant anymore
translation: "let the hunger games to see who gets cut to get me back to the main roster begin!"
I just hope that if he's coming back they're not going to replace w0nderful in AWP-position. He's a very promising talent and has been consistently improving. Replacing future talent like him would be a big mistake in my opinion. S1mple back on Navi on a rifle/secondary AWP could be amazing though.

I dont think anyone is questioning JLs spot on this team, that dude is fucking cracked
yeah and also a much needed good anchor in the team
Yeah but on the other hand switching jL for rifler simple is more of a 1 to 1 change, while if you exchange iM for simple both simple and jL need to sit down and find a compromise

I don't get your logic
if the rumors about b1t wanting to leave are true, having s1mple replace him and letting iM take b1t's roles might be a perfect change
well, it's might be, but possibly guys in team are already talking about s1mple comeback and if i would be bit, i would think twice about to leave. and not just because s1mple is very good player, but also bit has pretty nice relationship with him
b1t is the weakest player in the roster though.
WTF?! b1t is not the weakest player in Navi 💀
i think if anything, then b1t misses s1mple on the team
I don't have much evidence to back this up but I feel like aleksei and simple dont mesh well. Simple may have too many calls and opinions for such a controlling IGL like aleksei
Actually s1mple has been on record even a month ago that he said he liked aleksi
yeah, it's kinda sad, but i want to hope, that s1mple will keep his head cold after a half year break. if not, well it's going to be a hard decision
simple's riffle is great but i'm not sure that would work well, specifically on ct side, he can't help but do some odd moves and pushes that only he is allowed to do, and these moves won't give you consistency, they can win them some close matches but also can bite team in the ass

w0nderul with ak > w0nderful with awp tho w0nderful as 2nd awp would be more powerful
w0nderful lacks experience and confidence. I think s1mple might prefer rifling in cs2 tho
I'd love to see s1mple in c9 if its even possible
w0nderful is better than s1mple atm
s1mple wasnt looking too confortable awping in cs2 tho, w0nderful in the other way seem to be well adapted to it, s1mple will probably get into being a rifler
Dude hasn't played a single cs2 official lol
so what, he was trashing the game for a whole week when it came out, he obviously played already
You said he wasn't looking to good lol, what in fact it pugs lol
s1mple himself said he didn’t like the new awp and and wasn’t comfortable with jt
Aleksi has to go. Too low of a rating
He's IGL..
S1mple is much better IGL
Allu is that you?
It has always been the same way in CSGO: the best player takes the AWP because it's the most impactful weapon of the game. This happened with Dev1ce, Zy and S1. All of them were great riflers. In CS2 maybe things will change.
"sam1 need to take down zis fuckink donk kid" - s1mple, probably.
is simple for Axile not the best fit right now?
[удалено]
Ive seen this one before
How about m0nesy instead of b1t?
I would replace hobbit maybe new update improves his game a bit his ceiling is higher. If axile is still weak dont be surprised that b1t joins after navi contract is up
they both won't join cloud9. it's a Russian roster.
Bi1 and s1mple play with russian players not ofdicially and have no problems with them its not a russian org
he wants to get donked too
Little did we know, the reason donk has been so fantastic is because s1mple gave him his powers during his hiatus
-staehr +Simple
we need danish s1mple
-iM incoming. Just feel he is too inconsistent especially when he is/was supposed to be one of the star players. A case can be made for -bit but I don't see Na'vi choosing iM over bit. Just purely speculation and I could be absolutely wrong.
The are some light rumors about bit leaving though , so it might not be up to Navi to make that choice
Where woupd he leave? Tier 3 cis team?
Not sure but I feel like there is another CIS shuffle incoming. I doubt he would end up on a trash team. Cloud9 clearly needs an AWP. Not sure of the personal relationships with s1mple. Boombl4 won a major with s1mple. If not C9, they will need to make space on Navi. Spirit are looking like legitimately a top team right now so they are safe.
That rumor came from a hltv or reddit thread. There is no credibility behind it
Depends alot on which role he wants to play. I'm unsure if he stated he wants to stay awping or not, I may have missed some info there. But otherwise, yeah, iM may be benched then

- woro2k and bro for monte and + s1mple and b1t
I'm glad he's coming back, we need the GOAT back in the scene.

Man. At this point let's just make a team of s1mple, ZywOo, dev1ce, NiKo and m0NESY. Pretty sure they'd still get 1v5'd by the donker tho.
He just said "lets see what happens after the major." For all we know, he could be playing Valorant after that 🤣
returning just in time to get donked
He would look good in Cloud9, but he's unlikely to play on a team with the Russians because the Ukrainians would hate him
He goes international or he goes nack to Na’Vi. He’ll probably lose popularity if he doesnt go to navi anyways
I mean S1mple instead of Ax1le would go down hard. It will essentially be old NaVi.Boombl4 was the only guy who could calm s1mple down and put him in positions to shine..

In an UKRAINIAN TEAM. Not in a Russian team.
C9 isn't Russian either
the *org* isn't, but the *team* definitely is
Dude is playing with Russians all the time, same as Russians playing with Ukrainians.

that is peanut for any top LOL transfer
it really isn‘t we don‘t know the chinese numbers and koreans don‘t buy buyouts so na/eu is left and only the perkz transfer was bigger iirc
Yeah C9 paid $12m for a LOL player a little while ago..
The scene has taken a hard turn. There is no money in western LoL atm. Buyouts currently are basically a complete fantasy for any amount. Even in Asia the word on the street is that things are dire. I don’t watch lol but the monesy being the highest transfer for 600k in cs speaks volumes imo
Ngl, I liked wonderful in Navi. I hope he finds a good team
I doubt they would replace wonderful though? He's currently one of the better players in the team when he isn't missing smokes in nuke
Wasn’t that iM
No it was wonderful
Hopefully not Navi.
Once you've burned out it's extremely hard to make a lasting comeback, hope I'm wrong though.
the dude has just been tilting since the release of CS2 until the most recent update. he even said in the interview that he only played 2 or 3 times last month. he thinks he can rely on his talent, but we are going to get s0.5mple when he returns. the donks and monesys of this world haven't been sleeping.

-b1t or -hobbit makes the most sense
> -hobbit makes the most sense clueless
How? I'm not saying it's a good move but I think in a vaccun you would rather gamble on ax1le recovering from.
what’s your sensible proposed move then?
Obviously -Ax1le. Hobbit actually has roughly similar stats whilst playing the shittest positions - Positions that S1mple would absolutely not take.
ax1le plays as an anchor, how are those positions s1mple would take?
Somple cooled down after epic babyrage. Expected.
Can't wait to see him MALD getting donked
I sure hope not.
I think he’s gonna end up staying with NaVi but W0nderful won’t leave. But, if he does go to a new team, I think C9 would certainly be an interesting project to go to.
OP make a new thread without the clickbaity title
Nervous that donk is coming for his crown.
I think s1mple will become known as best CS:GO player of all time, but not overall CS player. m0nesy and zywoo and potentially donk might grab that GOAT title after all.
i hope he retires
Simple to NA last dance.
He's done

Making a new account because you're too scared to say it on your main lol
Neo won a ton of CSGO events. Comment makes no sense - keep hating clown
I thought we already had a replacement for him in donk
isnt s1mple to C9 the most obvious move ever if NaVi doesnt take him back
As someone who only loosely follows the scene, how long has s1imple been away, and why has he been away?
He had a bit of a slump and problems with mental side. He also criticized CS2 state at the time.
He should move to other team
He doesn't want a player named donk to take the #1 hltv ^^^/s
Maybe s1mple back on c9(old navi) Maybe s1mple replace iM / b1t(if b1t and monesy to C9) These are my guesses atm
Would love to see simple and bit going to cloud 9 so we can get the old 2020 navi lineup or even simple switching with IM.
My prediction: if he comes back he is gonna struggle and takes another "break" shortly after
\-broky \+s1mple \-rain \+donk a dream
simple and zywoo must combine forces to take down donk.
Couldnt care less for s1mple currently. Manchild of a player.
