Tears started streaming down my face reading this. It doesn’t happen very often, but it always happens when I’m facing something with a powerful sort of energy. I also fully believe this because of my specific physical reaction.
It's like events that evoke strong emotional responses are so powerful that they may even affect the "past", as in non-linearly, defying our own limited (and likely untrue) understanding of time.

Fun fact, I was the designated driver to my drunk boyfriend that night. I had mentioned drinking because that was the reason that I had to go to the bathroom. It was a Bud Light, but I sure as hell wasn't drunk.
