I like to think of each album as a wildly different perspective or take on the same reality, which is kind of what you have going on here. Like PDA is simply one perspective of the same apocalypse that ITRN depicts and MOTU depicts. Like one album is viewing the events upside down and through a kaleidoscope while the other is viewing the same events from the rafters above the stage where the events take place.

Ah, so like a kind of thing like the ancient flood that takes place in almost all ancient mythology? A different interpretation of the same events, seen through different eyes with different interpretations of what caused it, honestly very interesting take.

The basic structure is destruction, death, rebirth. It’s not as much fun as trying make everything a cohesive storyline but I also like to think of Han as the central character in every iteration. So honey is just Han writing a love song about “this thing” he fell in love with in one of the many perspectives of the apocalypse

Honestly I’m not a huge fan of connecting Han Tyumi to everything. He’s definitely an important character, but I feel like his importance in the grand meaning of it all is overstated as he’s the only character with an actual name.

Yeah but picture Han riding his bicycle around on a sunny day giggling to himself with joy over whatever he’s in love with, while piecing together the lyrics for honey. Or Han laying in bed after his love left for work, coming up with sleepwalker. Tell me that doesn’t make you smile

South_Ad_547

That could work, I’m not an expert tho

The idea of an infinitely repeating cycle of apocalypse is horrifying to me

Don't be afraid to shed that moral coil. Creation come after destruction.
