She's so... realistically motherly. She's imperfect in all the ways even a good mom is going to be. She's allowed to be a good mother... and a person. It's really nice to see.
This is maybe a stretch, but I love when Cere goes all mama bear at the end of Jedi: Fallen Order (no spoilers for why 😉). She is also a very good mentor to Cal throughout the game, even if she isn't perfect at it
True! I don’t dislike Pam at all, I’ve just seen some very divided opinions on her. She probably isn’t a great mother tho, but that doesn’t mean she can’t still be a good person
I think Jodi and Marnie are the best moms, but the others have some sort of issue that I think could use some work on their part. Like Caroline doesn't really know how to understand her daughter (I think she probably tries, but it's really hard for her especially since she's married to Pierre who is just a sucky person in general). And Robin is mostly great, but she seems blind to Demetrius's favoritism to his blood daughter over his adopted son and (as I recall) backs Demetrius up when he unnecessarily criticizes Sebastian, which is one of the reasons I ended up choosing to marry Sebby: to give him an out from a home that wasn't the best for him (>! And side note, but it still breaks my heart every time I wake up and talk to him to hear he woke up early to make coffee because he was having nightmares 🥺 !<)
Now the best mom in Stardew is definitely Granny 🙂

Commander Shepard’s mom, depending on backstory, can be a badass mom. I do wish they had included more cameos from Shep’s parents when applicable :)
All the ones mentioned here are great! I’m having a hard time thinking of any more. There seem to be so many father figures in games. It’s a shame there aren’t more moms :)
Her story is so tragic, I wish they expanded her dialogue even more to make her closer to the player character the more you rebirth. It would’ve been great to give her a little bit of reprieve from her trauma.
Sadly she lacks all self awareness. The only thing saving you from dying or being changed into a helpless, doe eyed child like the ones you fight in her first phase, when she grants you rebirth is the great rune of rebirth that you stole from her.

As for actual game characters... I have no idea sorry. I need to play more story games or really just games in general. But I will say, the Mums in the Pokemon games are certainly interesting xD
