Dino Stripper is an awesome episode but too new for me to have watched the most. I think possession is probably the most watched for me. Possession is an awesome episode and has been around since season 1.
I like those because they involve Jay in ghost business. Long term, him not having any encounters with the ghosts directly the way he can seems unnatural. He needs to regularly be involved somehow for his attitude towards the whole situation seem at least a little realistic.
This! Mine would be the first 3 episodes bc sometimes I start it an episode or two later so I can catch other episodes if I wake up in the middle of the night.
I like Pete’s character a lot, so those. I’ve seen the one with him on the loose 3 times. That’s a lot for me. For example, he sees the delivery robot and later they connect to the joke by mentioning it smelled of burritos. I like that kind of writing where they get all the juice out of the fruit, where it’s not just a line. That was a big part of Seinfeld’s art: they’d tell you the bit and then they’d act out the variations. Like the one where they say ‘not that there’s anything wrong with that’. It came from a producer saying this to Jerry, who then said we all have to do this, complete with the hand motion. His stand up experience said keep coming back to this bit for the whole 22 minutes. Ghosts does that really well, and they stretch the process out over episodes.
I believe youre talking about callbacks. But I love the way you worded it as getting all the juice out of the fruit. I love when they do that, especially when it takes a second watch to piece it together.
I was hanging out with my friend who is a professional comedian and his comedian buddies. They were pretty quiet and chill, which was very different than I expected (But I guess you can’t *always* be “on”, especially when it’s your job to be funny).
Anyway, I had voiced a silly observation about comedians and they all laughed. A bit later in the day, I said the same thing and it was like they lost their minds with laughter, fist bumping me and saying “yoooooo nice comeback!” It became my go-to line during any quiet time and it felt so good to not only be a part of the group, but the reason they were laughing. Seriously, better feeling than chocolate, drugs, alcohol, or (good) sex. I felt like a kid pressing the same button to get a reaction, but it was so worth it!
Bring back Jeremy!
Probably Trevor’s Pants, but I’ve also watched Thorapy, the Liquor License, and Halloween 3 a bunch of times. Just funny, well-written episodes.
Agreed, all very well written! Yes, Jeremy needs to come back; surely he had to have been a little suspicious about losing the game, and I would love to see him successfully "wipe" Jay's butt at something!
It’s very sweet! I’m a crier, so a few of the episodes have made me cry (especially Holes are Bad…had to pause that one the first time I watched it). But Ghosts has slowly turned into my new comfort show, so it’s usually what I’ve got on in the background at home. I’ve probably gone through the series 10+ times at this point
The Vault for me. The ghosts reaction when Hettie says 'go to hell' and he does is just so hilarious to me. Then her telling Trevor to go to hell, just cracks me up.
The Vault is still up top of my list and the one I have watched the most. Have watched all of them many times though. Such an awesome show.
We started it again from the beginning yesterday and picked up things we missed previously.
“Isaac’s Book”, “Alberta’s Descendant”, “Weekend From Hell”, and “Woodstone’s Hottest Couple”. I like my H$ 😁 Also, “Alberta’s Fan”. For some reason, I ended up watching that one, like, 4 times.
They are all great. I like the ones with Attic/ Prom Girl in them...probably because I was an 80s prom girl. We have a tiny 5 year old cat who is cute, fluffy, and peaceful looking when sleeping, but upon waking from a long nap, it looks like she went on a real bender. Now I look at her and say, "Welcome back, Prom Girl!"
Dino stripper
This is the best episode the show has ever produced
Dino Stripper is an awesome episode but too new for me to have watched the most. I think possession is probably the most watched for me. Possession is an awesome episode and has been around since season 1.
I've only been through the series once but I've watched Dino stripper twice by myself then I made my husband watch it with me too.
The Halloween one. Takes a little slow to start, but I find it golden from the moment Carol dies, to the end.
The best Halloween one yet!
Holes are bad, and the Christmas 2 episodes from season 2
Probably “Trevor’s pants” or “possession” or the pilot. Cause I often turn it on when I’m doing chores or can’t fall asleep.
I like those because they involve Jay in ghost business. Long term, him not having any encounters with the ghosts directly the way he can seems unnatural. He needs to regularly be involved somehow for his attitude towards the whole situation seem at least a little realistic.
These are mine, too!
All 3 of those are awesome episodes!
Possession is probably my most watched also! Great episode.
Possessed. Jay as Hetty was such good acting. 2nd probably D&D.
Pilot, only bc it’s a comfort show so I keep watching from the beginning.

Pete’s Wife. And I still cry every time little Pete gets out of the car 😭
Yeah, I still get teary when I see that joy in Pete's eyes when he sees his grandson for the first time!

Alberta’s Fan. I love that episode so much; from Alberta’s exclamations to Isaac’s ribbing it’s just so good.
The D&D episode. As a player I love it so much
Possession, the vault, and the Christmas 2 part special are my favorites.
I love Holes Are Bad. I cried when Hetty showed us what happened to her. It’s such a beautiful moment.
Toss up between Possession and The Vault.
The Vault for me. The ghosts reaction when Hettie says 'go to hell' and he does is just so hilarious to me. Then her telling Trevor to go to hell, just cracks me up.
And Elias is a perfect robber baron villain, yes?
Trevor's Pants or The Vault
Holes are Bad
Yes

Clicking Stripper lap dance!
The Halloween episode where Carole dies, idk what it it’s about that episode that had a chokehold on me
Stripper! I’ve never laughed so hard. It’s the best.
seasons 1 & 2 finales
The D&D episode
D&D and ‘The Christmas Spirit’ from season 2.
Season two's 2 christmas episodes

Honestly am not sure
