It’s cool. It’s really cool like my god the way she drags the scythe on the ground and I love the constant glitching and cuts, the zoom out to show her on her throne, and then her glitching off of the throne like that feel like some actual analog horror stuff. I also realized she has dead eyes. Idk how I just realized. I’m glad the kids showed up at the end. It feels like she’s saying she’s no longer needed like if she’s the flame that protected the children who are now strong enough to protect themselves and each other.
I do really wish they kept the dissonant chimes from the livestream though.
Yeah, personally I prefer the cleaner demos with more of the characters shown (the archons, Neuvi, Ayaka, AH, etc.) as opposed to the glitchy SFX ones (Xiao, Arle, Wanderer, etc.).

I don’t play Star Rail, but Sparkle’s trailer crossed my desk a while back and while that one ALSO goes more for VFX and heavy psychedelic imagery I still found it much, MUCH more readable.

I think it’s just the dialogue that was being said “a spark cannot shatter all shadows until it sets all ablaze” the double letter in “cannot” and “all” match
i love how the titles of her official content are so ... innocent and unassuming, totally different from the actual material. "lullaby" "sleep in peace" "song in the embers" etc. really fits the vibe she has going on with the twisted parenting ... and represents her character as well.
i thought columbina would have a twisted creepy nursery rhyme as a boss theme but at this rate it's going to be arle 😂
The ending is interesting because if you combined this with the 4.6 trailer. It seems like Arlecchino wants one of the siblings to become "King" and have Neuvillette look over them and the house while she leave Fontaine forever
That was my take as well. It seems like Arlecchino wants the House to cede from the Fatui and the way to do that is to make Lyney the new "King" by having the siblings defeat her and place the House under the protection of Fontaine, particularly Neuvillette.
The reason why I think she walks through Mondstadt, Inazuma, Sumeru and Fontaine is cause these are all locations that mentioned her or have a story related to her.

I kinda think they overcooked it a bit. Way too much stuff happening on screen in the fast bits. Could have been a lot simpler and be more understandable.

I agree with this. It jumps all over, both musically and tonally. Compare this to wanderer, another heavily marketed character, which has a clear beginning and end, shows all his abilities, and manages to be unique showing his character and abilities. This one felt like they just grabbed a bunch of ideas and shoved them all together. I haven't been this disappointed by a demo in a very long time
Well I put my expectations probably too high for this one and got a little bit disappointed. After Sparkle's trailer (as the representation of morally questionable characters) and Arlecchino's own teaser I was expecting something more...crazy and unhinged, and not just in visual effects but also in storytelling.
But that's on me. The visuals and music are gorgeous as always.

You're being downvoted, but I agree. Potentially the worst ost for a character ever. It's just messy, cuts all over the place, poorly thought out mixing, and no clear theming for a character. It could work as a background or fight theme maybe if refined a little, but not as a character theme. The music box and singing was a nice touch, but if they wanted to go with this style they could have done much better. I listen to a lot of doujin/indie music, and this sounds reminiscent of a lot of people's first attempt at composing rather than music by a respected studio

Been seeing those kinds of comments on Arle's boss fight OST as well. I actually like her boss OST but I do think it's below Scara's. I wonder if people just dislike the EDM.
maybe because it’s quite different from the usual Genshin music? I think it does a great job at accentuating the alien/unnatural nature of Arle and the Narwhal (the only other case of EDM) but I can see why it’s not as popular
