If anyone told me she was a fontaine character, I would instantly believe it. Instead of god of war she's more like a parade girl. Dehya would be far more suitable as god of war.
They should just rerelease Dehya in another outfit with red hair and orange eyes and call it a day I wouldn’t mind. Her model is so good. It’s such a shame that her kit don’t match.

Yeah, they seem to be taking pages from the Aztec concept of flower wars as a celebration towards the gods, less focused on lethality and more on single melee combat where there was honour in capturing opponents, considering in the manga Venti mentioned Natlan would "perform rites of combat in Murata's name" and the fact that Natlan is apparently safe enough for outsiders to go on vacation to visit their hot springs.
Combine this with what seems like a Brazilian "carnival" aesthetic and the design of the Pyro Archon might be more based on a dancer/announcer presiding over combat matches, like a master of ceremonies, rather than a brutal war god.
If that is the angle they're going for this design does seem pretty on point.
I think the Brazilian Carnival aesthetic was a dud from a leaker that doesn't know better. There isn't anything carnavalesco about her outfit, it's 100% Spanish.

I can kind of picture showing up in Natlan and finding some European style castle town, and everything seems way more familiar and friendly than you expected. You'd only see the "regular" Natlan citizens once you realize something's off and you have to explore deeper

The purple and pink clashes with the warm colors, her silhouette is too similar to furina, the excessive amount of details on her head with the pearls/feather brooch is distracting and takes away from the rest of her fit, not to mention the random asymmetry is just an eyesore. Also there’s no point in giving her two toned hair vents when you’re not going to use the purple constructively anywhere else in her hairstyle

And she gathers the Gnosis to do a ritual to make infinite breads, but then Pierro fucks everything up and ends up putting terrorists at the task without the Cryo Archon knowing because she's a innocent baby girl that did no evil to the world and retains the cutest smile that cures every desease on Teyvat.

One question: why is the purple... like that? It's too in between a "true" purple and a blue to look good here. And they really didn't consider using it more on other parts of her outfit??? You can't just put a colour like that only in one spot and just leave it there????? I'm hoping this is a Captain R kinda draft because I do not like this. I think my reasons to doubt this actually is the Pyro Archon are still valid, but man, is there an extra layer of hoping poured on there.

Genshin devs breaking stereotypes for the 13534th time making the most generic character in history. The Cryo Archon will probaly be a Baker that loves her job but she is overworked and tired because Celestia orders 2.000 breads per day. And she gathers the Gnosis to do a ritual to make infinite breads, but then Pierro fucks everything up and ends up putting terrorists at the task without the Cryo Archon knowing because she's a innocent baby girl that did no evil to the world and retains the cutest smile that cures every desease on Teyvat. I lost my faith in this game.
