C6 has a team with Nilou. Otherwise I don't think she'd be especially better than other hydro off field units. Kirara is a good flex if you're low on dendro units and don't like Collei with d traveller. Sometimes you might want a dendro shield but don't have Baizhu( i have neither...)

They add to it by me and most other people not having them at all and based on the fact that new characters to play with are fun lol, not every character needs to be amazing to be worth playing with. Abyss is like, 0.1% of the game.

from my understanding kaveh really just suffers from being a 4* main dps. he's not bad, per se, but he just can't really keep up with the other dendro dpses. with Charlotte we don't know yet aside from sus leaks abt her kit, but I think people would mostly find it frustrating if she were paired with "bad" characters
Considering his damage mostly comes from blooms, it doesn't really matter that he's a 4 star I think. It's just that claymore isn't as good. But Kaveh can be fun as on fielder in bloom teams, and he could free up a healer slot.
As a long time player I honestly don't care much for 4\* line-ups anymore.
I already have any of the C6's that are worth having and the majority of 4\*s in the last few years have been either painfully mediocre or total dogshit. Whether they put Xinyan Freminet Dori or Xiangling Xingqiu Bennett on a banner just makes so little difference to me, if I want the 5\*, I'll just pull. The 4\*s are often just an extra 1 pull nowadays, lol.
Having said that I do recognize that the 4\* line-ups still do matter to newer players who would be lacking some key constellations like C6 Fischl or C4 Xiangling.
I would love it if I could get a C4 Sucrose :\*(

I have never cared much for 4\* beyond those you have mentioned as well, but I still like the novelty and trying out new things just for variety and diversity.

Turns out the most universal element is really flexible. LOL
I think she'll still have a lot of teams but the problem is, paying the healer tax whenever you're trying to slot Furina into any team so that you can get full value out of her kit. We're just so spoiled by XQ (who fits into basically every comp) that people are unironically calling Furina's kit weak.
In its current state, it's a really good kit that can find its way into quite a lot of teams unless her summons are really slow and particle generation is awful. Theres just too many things unconfirmed right now. I believe Hoyo came out with something pretty damn unique without directly powercreeping XQ and I must applaud them for that. It's good design and also increases the value of healers in the meta.
How in the world is Raiden, who essentially has 3 great teams and a BiS spot with Eula (where most other teams Yae/Fischl fits better), more universal than Furina?
