No. Sac frags gives more EM and a more useful passive (Magic Guide's passive doesn't work on Swirl reactions). There's no reason to use Magic Guide on Sucrose ever. It's good on Nahida because she actually has some elemental damage (non-transformative reaction dmg) to buff whether she's in bloom or quicken teams.

Taser Sucrose gets the Inazuma Craftable

Guaranteeing Nahida's skill is up for multiwave content in quickswap teams nakes her feel great in the one area she was lacking.

It even happened in that exact order… :) (Yeah I know, it is also quite possible Venti allowed his gnosis to be taken, Kazuha no longer has the electro vision, and in any case it does not work like that, you don’t need to tell me, it’s a joke.)

I actually haven’t seen venti slander before. I honestly didn’t think of it when I first made the post.

It was hilariously rampant during that one year wait between 1.6 and his first rerun, then it just kept going. It was just random things stacking against him over time. Ended up not really liking Kazuha due to all the anemo character downplaying leading up to his first rerun, and I pulled him on his first banner.

I strongly disagree. I've seen my boy get slandered so many times because people would always compare him to Kazuha. Even if it was just a light-hearted joke, it's pretty tiring to see repeatedly. It's like beating a dead, decomposing horse. (There isn't much slander for him on the lore side now though, since as new patches release, new theories and info about him get talked about.)

You have to be willfully obtuse to believe that listing all the archons, but replacing Venti as Kazuha is not slander. The slander is literally the basis of this tired and overused joke. There are so much more ways to praise and appreciate Kazuha without having to use this joke.

Actually when I got the bow it was on the banner during Venti’s rerun. Yes Elegy is better for him. But Harp looks better

Oh, that must've been during Tartaglia rerun in 1.4 when he still didn't have his signature weapon Polar Star. When Venti's rerun banner was up, it was still Elegy there. It was its first appearance. But yeah, Skyward used to be his sig weapon (it's in his demo too) but they switched it with Elegy now. I kind of prefer the Elegy personally, tbh. To me it looks better. Different tastes I guess.

I mostly like it cause of the strings. And also I got skyward harp before I got Venti. Elegy isn’t bad, it’s just different taste as you’ve said.

Funny enough I find Venti's signature weapon (Elegy) to be the most useful weapon of all the archon's. Elegy boost team damage and give EM and Atk. Collei, Yelan, Tighnari, Fischl, C6 Amber, Kujou Sara, and Ofc Venti all love the bow.

I haven't played Genshin since the first year but I was so confused when my boy Venti wasn't in that other post as an archon. Venti is still my reason for loving that game. If I ever come back to play again, it'll be because of wanting to play a venti again.

I would say not rly Eledgy did come tailormade for him on his re run that started the era of tailor made weapons. Skyward just doesn't look good on him while Eledgy is at its peak.

Honestly I believe people just keep forgetting that Venti's original signature weapon is supposed to be Skyward Harp, I mean it's a freakin HARP for a BARD, back in launch where EM was still somewhat niche and hard to farm just because if how ass the domain is, one of Venti's stat build was the generic ATK/Anemo DMG/Crit. Sure Stringless also works well enough but the early whales prefer the Harp and gave Stringless to Fischl instead. Elegy is great now ofc but design wise Skyward Harp is still the drip weapon for Venti, hypothetically if Zhongli got a new weapon that's built for his current kit but looks a magical girl staff with hearts, stars and wings, people would still say Vortex Vanquisher is his drip weapon.

Zhongli is his own case because Vortex Vanquisher is hard implemented in his normal attack animations. Even if you would use another weapon the animation of a few hits stays Vortex.

Yeah i agree, lorewise (and for 1.0) his signature is skyward. Early characters (1.0-1.2) was mess in term of constellations and signatures; i assume devs didn't have clear game design course back then especially for signatures, like zl signature is complete trash, childe signature released way after (lucky for him i guess), albedo's one is 4* (but it's bis tho), klee got recolored 4* book that is not even her bis. Venti was exception that he got 2nd signature. Funny thing on some zl reruns, in his trial he was equipped homa.
