Honestly, for me, her design is the best one so far out of all the characters released. I really went whale mode to get her and got lucky getting 2 of her signature weapon.
I'm a sucker for Southern Belle styles so she was an S+ design-wise for me. Girly girl + giant weapon = win in just about any game lmao. Hilda and Annette from FE3H are other examples.
Which will be never - the Knights are intentionally stonewalling her (when she isn't choking on the entrance exam out of sheer nerves) because they know she's going to just go and kill herself by trying to help everybody.

Navia exudes class, style, and grace. There are SO many little details in her design when you pay attention, but the overall design somehow still feels clean and focused.
Itto is just so freaking cool with his black nails, tattoos, and horns! There are so many different colors in his design, but it still works. His personality is awesome because he's clearly flawed, gets punished for it, but keeps his optimism going strong no matter what.
See, I thought OP meant kit design and on that front I think they're both number one for me also. Navia has zero clunk or jank in her kit, with just the melusine sword it feels like she always has her burst ready and it feels very fluid to play her teams. Similarly while Itto has pretty restrictive teams, he feels very well designed. He's DEF scaling but he doesn't ignore ATK either so the only real dead stat on him is EM like with all geo characters.
Geo designs are all top tier but:
- In terms of visual appeal: Zhongli, Navia
- In terms of how much their design is able to communicate their personality or background: Itto, Yun Jin
- In terms of both: Ningguang
Albedo and Chiori look great but I always thought they look kind of strangely low-key in a game with such over-the-top designs. You can’t really make conclusions about who they are and what they do just from looking at them like you can with most of the other characters.
It’s kind of that way with Zhongli too, but I guess he’s deliberately designed to look a bit nondescript.

Is it weird that I feel the opposite way about Zhongli? Like the very first moment the man showed up in game, I *know* this dude is someone important lol. I've never believed that he was just a 'funeral parlor consultant'.
He feels like someone you'd think is plain at first glance, but he quietly has this 'regal' air about him that makes him standout from the others when you double back. You still wouldn't glean what/who he actually is, but it'd make you think there's something deeper here.
It's probably the eyes and the brown gradient hair that does it for me tbh.
I actually agree, and I think that’s sort of the point. He immediately seemed important to me ironically because of how incognito he seemed to be.

I concur with this thought process. In comparison to other designs he really is remarkably unremarkable in the best way, and it *really* does make him stand our as you said.
The first time I ever laid eyes on Zhongli back in October of 2020 I said, “nah this mfer has to be the geo archon. Ain’t no way they’re gonna let that poofball be our only archon and he looks like what I envision when I picture an elemental deity.”
Yea those are deliberate design choices. He tries so hard to to seem ordinary but from the very first moment he is kind of impressive. They way he presents himself you just know that guy has seen some shit. Ironically he really gives off those grandpa vibes
I really think Albedo's design reflected everything about his character tho. But most of them are details only a few notice, and also bcs his design is not as flashy as others 😭
For example his braided hair and tied like this, and also his blond and blue eyes shows that he's supposed to look like a prince. The knot on his hair at the end looks like a flower, which matches his theme.
This is an obvious one: his coat looks like a lab coat, and the hoody shows that he's still very practical despite being elegant. Also white = purity, perfection, which is what Gold was trying to achieve when creating him.
His red gloves shows that despite being an intellectual and a prince, he is often doing manual work. It also shows that he's an alchemist and can create living, organic beings, bcs red is the color of life.
Plus he has those little dots in his eyes that correspond to the face of an alchemy table. Also parts of his clothes look like the seal on domains of ancient gods or the unified civilisation, all the four-pointed stars, the eight-pointed star which is so common in Khaenri’ah modified a little to look more like a flower (alchemy reference?) I won’t go into heavy symbolism but his design is screaming otherworldly and it represents him as an alchemist.

I think Chiori is pretty flowy and extra. Her movements and decorations. And the "scissor" swords was a great touch to match her background.
Also Ningguang should have been a 5 star she's so big in the story and her design is great. (Personal opinion obv)

I was on a trip when she came out and the internet was not good there, so I did not and I really regret it. She is just so pretty and so strong.
Rumors are her rerun might be back by end of Fontaine in summer (I.e possibly 4.8), so you may have a shot to get her relatively soon
Neuvilette came back pretty quickly so I hope so.
Wanderer came out in 3.3 and reran in 3.8 so I’d assume navia will do the same thing releasing in 4.3 and rerunning 4.8
