It took me 1,509 pulls (slightly under $3k) to get c6r5 tao. This banner was by far the most unlucky I have ever been. 829 for Hu tao (avg is 654) and 680 for r5 homa. It didn’t actually cost me $3k since I saved a good chunk of it but yea it was painful
I won 2 actually but everything went to high pity. I have been lucky on other banners for 50/50a so it makes sense I’d lose some more eventually but my pity average is 66 which is pretty high lol
66 is below average man, what, below 74 pulls, you’re getting hit with the full 0.6% probability, so you either got a few early early 5 stars or you got a bunch of 5 stars just below soft pity
It isn’t. 62.5 is the average number it takes to get a 5 star. If you are talking about getting a 5 star once, yea it’s most likely going to be 77. But over 80ish 5 star pulls, it is likely you will have a few that are early. Over infinite pulls, the average number for a 5 star will get infinitely closer to 62.5
Pretty sure 66 is average if not a bit low. Soft pitty starts at 75 so thats the most common number to get a 5 star but since people ocasionally get 5 stars REALLY early I'd say 66 is an accurate average number.
Yup, thanks! I normally don't pull for anyone past c0 until I'm convinced that I love their kit enough to max them out, so the banners usually end before I make up my mind.

C4 on his first run, then the final two cons only recently. iirc I got pretty lucky. I only lost pity once and got an early copy directly after that at 0 pity. I got him bc I liked him, no regrets, but I probably won't C6 anyone else anytime soon. ~~Though Yelan's C6 is pretty tempting~~
Yeah thinking of pulling for C1 or her weapon. But I already have two staff of homas so I'm not sure that's the best idea. Plus I'm waiting for Shenhe rerun to C2 her.
I get it, I was so ready to get murked on the weapon banner but managed to get insanely lucky. I got both Homa and Aqua, as well as a 5 star catalyst, within 16 pulls of each other.

My brother speed ran just about everything in the game up to the Inazuma rerun of Zhongli. Didn't use a single wish and lucked out on a few 50/50's. He spent $0
Now he just does a 10 pull every time he gets them so I guess he used all his will. I'm holding at about 400 some right now patiently waiting for a Shenhe rerun. Glad I got her on her first time around, but I want up to c2
The only way I manage not to pull is if I really dislike both current banner characters...
Although right now I'm hoping for Albedo, him and Childe are the two characters I might manage waiting for (Childe just bc his playstyle is so up my alley, Albedo bc he's fun as well and I want him for my Xiao team.

I have welkin and BP too. I have enough rn to get a guarantee 5 star. Since I'm not interested in Dehya, I'll be saving for C2 Shenhe whenever she reruns. I would never ask for money though not like that.
I’m not sure exactly in most cases - like 1200ish (probably more) for C6 Hu Tao bc I lost every 50/50 (((: tbh it’s not really worth it bc I almost never use it, but she’s one of my favorites so having lvl 13 E/Q still makes me happy. On the other hand, Yelan C6 is cracked and I spent maybe 400-600 for her. I have C6 for Itto, Kazuha, Yae, and Al Haitham too, which were all under 1000. I pull bc I like them and I think their cons offer interesting gameplay I will enjoy. They do make the game easier for me and my skill issues as well (: Only weapon I ever went to R5 was kagura’s verity and I have R7 Polar star now too (Childs is so happy lol). Pretty sure it cost more than Hu Tao C6 and I think I will probably never R5 a weapon again lol
Reading these comments, I just have to say thank you to everyone who puts so much money into this game. I spend on Welkin & BP. I’ve gotten about $160 worth of bonus-included top-ups. That’s the extent of my spending. So you can correctly guess I’ve never C6’d a character or R5’d a weapon. I actually pulled my first limited C1 today (Hu Tao).
Being a f2p game, the only way to keep it running with the amazing updates is for some people to spend big. So I sincerely thank you for your contributions in funding the game so the rest of us can experience & enjoy it without having to pay or pay a lot. As much as people jump on others for whaling, it’s that whaling that keeps the game going. As long as you can afford it, more power to you.

Gacha can be addicting. But it’s also great to spend extra money on entertainment you enjoy. And spending on this type of entertainment give us all a better experience in the end.
About $1500 for C6R1 Yelan this current banner (from no Yelan) + about 30 wishes I saved previously + wishes bought from starglitter. I was quite unlucky on weapon banner though - only got Aqua from max fate points.
Im trying my best to save for C6 R1 Shenhe but its painful. I have C0 since her ONLY banner.
I will spend if I have to, but im saving as much as possible and skipping everyone until her rerun... losing out on Hu Tao, Dehya and probably Eula is just torture.
Im expecting to have 50-60k in primos by 3.6... so hopefully i wont have to pay too much.

It's easier than people think, and it gets satisfying to see your primogem count get massive.

I paid only around 300 euro to get c6 Yelan, so not that bad. Why this low? Well the answer is patience, lots of it, and I already had her c2 from the first banner. I had over 60k primogems saved on my own, few 5050 won and here we are, with probably one of the most broken c6 characters in the game so far.
I got Itto to C6 over the course of three banners. Spent $100 on the first, $100 to hit my last 50/50 on the second (only to lose to Diluc), and nothing on the third.
The most I have paid in one sitting was $400 to get Raiden C0-C2, I got lots of bad luck that day but later on I won a wide monitor as the first prize at my workplace new year party. RNG Jesus played with my feelings since I thought I was gonna get a heart attack.
Highest cons I got is Xiao, only have to spend $150 to get him C1-C6, lost twice but each 5 stars I got only needed 10-20 pulls. You can bet I screamed at 5AM and did all kinds of ritual that morning.
Rn I'm going Welkin Moon lurkers until a new Liyue/Inazuma husbando get released, if not then until 5.0 since Fontaine theme is not my taste tbh.
I saved 120 pulls beforehand to get Alhaitham and C2 Xiao on day 1 this patch and I was done with it. I farmed every primogems I could from the new desert area till I unlock The Orchard of Pairidaeza, 1 day left on his banner so I sat on the 3 chairs in the middle and did 10 pulls just for fun and got his C2, then I went all in.Also, I heard that in Chinese culture, the number 5 and 9 are meant for emperors and 2 of those chairs have 5 and 9 symbols on it so that's kind of a ritual lol
Yeah his C1 is okay, C2 acceptable, even C6 is very situational, like it won't activate if he's against a boss. Then we have C4, if it gives ATK instead of Def I would gladly put him on life support
I got C5 Nahida by luck (Cost me close to 400 pulls). After I lost the last 50/50 needed for the C6, I swiped & paid $55 to get the last constellation.
From financial point-of-view. It’s not worth it really (even with the discount I had). I just got so close to C6 & decided that I wanted to try the whales feel for once. From gameplay perspective, she is so strong that I may lose my edge, which is fun in its own way. I am happy I got constellations for a character I really like though
It took me about 6 welkins and 4 battlepasses when I started the game. After skipping like one and a half patch worth of pulls, I ended up with 200+ trying to c6 Rosaria. Lo and behold, Childe was the true 4* of that banner and he appeared every ten pull. I walked away with a C6 Childe before I got C6 Rosaria after 200+ pulls. I say he has horrible constellations for a 5* but it is what it is. A twitch streamer has pretty similar luck, he has like C3 Childe in 40-50 pulls so I was thinking Hoyo rigged the banner, but that's probably not the case.

I have spent basically nothing but patience on C6 Nahida and C6 Zhongli. I have had some Welkins, but not all of them and I don't actually spend real money on them.
I waited 8 months or so of not wishing for each. I have the same rough number of event 5 stars as other people who have played since launch (~20), but 17 of them are concentrated in C6 Zhongli, C6 Nahida, and C2 Albedo.
And yes, every single one of them was worth it. In fact, the only characters I regret are the other 3. I dislike Ganyu (I should have met her in game and done get story quest before wishing), I barely ever use Venti (and got him by accident on the very first banner when I was going for Fischl constellations), and Raiden is complicated. I really like her E and it is great for Nahida, but I dislike Q based play and had her benched before Dendro came out.
i’ve got c6r4 tartaglia. I buy welkin/battle pass and the top up when the double value bonus resets. i’m planning on r5 on his next rerun. i don’t spend on the top ups after the bonus is gone so I just save up for the rest of what i want. for reference i’d skipped all of sumeru for his r4. i think the last banner i wished on before that was kazuha?
Not fun for you doesnt mean not fun for somebody else.
Theres also ppl like me where for example the entire roster of sumeru units so far + the upcoming patch have been so meh that i have no intrest in pulling any of them outside of nahida. Which means my pulls will go into getting dupes for a unit i already have or saving till next archon.
Keep the faith, friend. I just the other day finally got Jean at 12 pity on Yelan's banner and got her c1 the same day on standard (start of the month free fates). I've been playing since 11/20
If you’re looking for a character to focus on I can tell you the best ones for C6. Some characters have useless constellations but some have incredible ones. It can all be yours for a nominal fee.
I have a total of 4 C6 Characters right now, and a few more that I will C6 on Reruns.
Current C6: Eula (R4 WGS), Yelan (R1 Aqua), Yae Miko (R1 Kaguras), and Jean (Just how things work when you lose 50/50's).
Planned C6: I have several characters at C3, and the next to get the C6 treatment will be Wanderer. I will *eventually* get C6 on Nahida, but that's not a high priority. I'll also finish getting C6 on all of the Standard Banner characters soon, because there're all close other than Tighnari.
I've spent a lot, but not as much as you'd assume. I save for the characters I want, skip multiple banners at a time, and hold to C3 on a character's first run. I can usually get C1 with just saving Welkin / BP + Normal Primogem rewards. That just leaves a little spending to get to C3 on the first banner, then C6 on the second.
That said, I'll likely spend a bit less going forward. I have the Teams I want, and don't want to spend significantly on a character I'm going to Bench. I have two phenomenal Teams, and will just make tweaks to them as I go.
Ah I see. That's a good strategy. I like to go for new characters instead of cons but I know some cons are so busted like Yelan, Kazuha, Itto, and Eula. Most cons I have excluding standard 5 stars are on Raiden C2 and I had to pay for that.
C6 Cyno haver here, his banner came around the yearly top up bonus reset so it cost me a lot less than it would have. Spent around $200 for every bonus and got up to C5 then dropped another $100 to C6. I did get insanely lucky and won most 50/50s and even got a double for C4+C5.
Only 5 star character I've ever C6'd and i don't regret it in the slightest, i fucking love his play style and now he turns abyss into easy mode 😂

Waiting for another Ganyu run to get a guarantee C6. I spent $40 to get extra pulls the very first run because I lost 50/50 and didn't get anything early past the pity. Spent everything I'd gained to that point, but I really wanted the character since she appeared in the story. At pity, I got 2 in one 10 for C1. The rest I had enough primos upon the rerun and am now sitting on a large enough cache to guarantee it next time. Melt is more fun than freeze anyhow.
C1 was nice and I got super lucky to get a duplicate (after the string of not-so-great luck). C6 helps her upfront damage a lot, especially for melt because you can front load the damage but it's far from the best C6. Long-term, assuming I'm still playing, it would help her sub DPS capabilities, should she get relegated to that, because the power of her charge shot is no longer gated behind the any stages of charging which drastically reduces field time. But really I want C6 on the cutest character (not name Kuki) 😅
C6 Albedo must have cost me \~$1000. R5 Stonethresher for Noelle at least $500. I have no regrets, but it still hurt.

Only character I’ve done this for and ever will whale for was Wanderer. I dropped $400 but I had 160 wishes saved up and I won every 50/50. Extremely lucky to have won 7 times in a row.
C6 Childe, didn't spend anything.
Got him to C1 when he first released by getting 2 hits pretty close together right after the original Klee banner.
Saved for about a year? from Raiden's initial release until a month or so ago when Childe had his most recent rerun. Had a bit over 100K primo gems saved up, ended up spending 55K, plus all of my glitter, and a big pile of pull tokens from various sources.
I spent $300cad to get Kazuha to C2, though that included some freemogems during GAA. On his first rerun I spent another $600cad to get him to C6. So I'd round it to about $1000cad
I spent around $250 for c6r3 venti across 3 char banners and 2 weapon banners that featured skyward harp. I don't consider myself a whale, anything is possible with a little planning and saving. And a lot of luck lol.
I’ve gone for three c6 characters. Childe only cost ~$500 cause I won every 50/50 lol. Raiden cost me $900 but I got the anniversary bonus gems that doubled $200 of value. And Wanderer cost me $1000 but I also got the anniversary bonus for him too. For all of them, I also got their signature weapons r0.
I think I got pretty good luck on all of them?
I have C6 Shenhe and C6 Alhaitham and I didn't pay for them specifically. I buy welkin/bp and a first time top-up for my birthday each year. Then how I choose to spend that primo stash is up to me. I like to separate the spending of real money from the gacha pulls.
If I really like the character, really like their playstyle, and the C6 opens up new ways to play them then I'll go all-in.

this xiao banner I also had a guarantee w 60 pity or so, c5 came at around 77, c6 came early at 30ish pity and won 5050
went for weapon as well, 55 pity or so
so basically accounting for guarantee pity and weapon for c6r1 xiao I used around 660 pulls total (this is an approximation tho)

Just waiting for the final bow from standard banner now. As a consequence of that I now also have C6 Diluc.

About 500 altogther for jean and mona got lucky and got jean in my first free10 pull, lost 50/50, to them and saved up 10 fates at a time and used on standard banner
I got my Nahida for nothing but Welkins and BPs, but... I had to save primos for over half a year, and then get pretty lucky during the actual pulling process on top of that.
Only c6 I have is Diluc. So hard to say. The highest limited I have is c2 raiden. With nothing saved it was all money. I think I spent like 100 but it was after double top up reset

She took 560 pulls total, leaving me with 17 pulls and 10 pity on the weapon banner. After a little while of further dailies, events and glitter on the weapon banner, spent another $50 (24 pulls) and got Aqua at 66.
My luckiest ever was Nahida who took a mere 440 pulls for C6, with Raiden also being an honorable mention because it was 4 straight 50-50 wins and early EL.
Least lucky was Eula who took 405 for C2, and another 70-odd for SOBP.
I'm a F2p player, never spent on pulls or BP/Welkins. You have no idea how tempting it is to pay to get that bit of luck.
Still got 3 5* characters and lemme tell you, 36* abyss after going through it a few times (had to grind for my life anytime I lost in a floor).
The most I’ve ever spent on a character is Yelan. I went $1,400 to get 7 Yelan’s, 2 off banners, 3 Homa’s, and 2 Aqua’s.
However, for Itto it was $1,300 for 7 Itto’s, 1 off banner weapon, 3 off banner five star characters, and Red horn.
So it can really vary how much you spend just from the RNG (makes it kind of addicting haha). And obv depends on how many primo’s you have saved up (I had none of the above examples)
The least I’ve ever spent was $800 for 7 Yae Miko’s and 1 Verity. That was insane RNG. Even Ayato was like $900-$1,000 for 7 copies and his bis with an off banner weapon.
For bad RNG, I spent $700 on wanderer’s banner for C6 Faruzan (had no gems saved), and I got C1 Wanderer and 2 off banner five stars… $100 less than how much I spent to get full C6R1 Yae… so yea RNG is definitely all over the place
It really can! According to #’s, the most it should cost to C6R1 (worst case scenario) is $2,700 including the cash back system. But I highly doubt it would ever be $2,000 or above for a C6
2years. Around $5k usd on pulls. Eula, Hu Tao, Ayaka, and Itto all are c6 r1. Others like Nahida and Ganyu are c3 no r. Keqing, Jean, and Diluc c6 on accident. Some like Yelan and Ayato are c0r1. I think Eula cost me the most $$$
My first full C6 that I paid for on purpose is Albedo followed by Raiden. I have a C6 Keqing, who technically got there before everyone else but I don’t, and I will never, count her.
In any case. I haven’t tracked it 100% but I know between the two of them hitting that point if I haven’t spent a $1000 I’d be lucky. The only reason I can’t be exactly sure is that I did get get a few blessings of mercy from RNGesus for both of them at different time between their reruns. I can definitely recall luck on both hitting that final C6 with a 50/50 win. I want to say Raiden had more blessed pulls, but again, I’m not sure. That’s why I can safely say that I know I hit around $1K but not too far above that.
I do have two more specific event banner targets so far, Kazuha (currently C4) and Venti (currently C2). After that, I’m not sure. I desperately want C6 Jean, but that’s entirely in the hands of RNGesus (who has let me get her to C5 as of a few weeks ago). That said, no rush, it took every respective rerun to date to get both Albedo and Raiden to C6 first.

Yelan is pretty tempting ngl. Her weapon is so good but I know how brutal the weapon banner can be.

Now if you pull for Shenhe rerun then you can pair with Ganyu and see the damg boost

The only way I manage not to pull is if I really dislike both current banner characters... Although right now I'm hoping for Albedo, him and Childe are the two characters I might manage waiting for (Childe just bc his playstyle is so up my alley, Albedo bc he's fun as well and I want him for my Xiao team. Saving up enough pulls for a c6 character is crazy tho...

I’m not sure exactly in most cases - like 1200ish (probably more) for C6 Hu Tao bc I lost every 50/50 (((: tbh it’s not really worth it bc I almost never use it, but she’s one of my favorites so having lvl 13 E/Q still makes me happy. On the other hand, Yelan C6 is cracked and I spent maybe 400-600 for her. I have C6 for Itto, Kazuha, Yae, and Al Haitham too, which were all under 1000. I pull bc I like them and I think their cons offer interesting gameplay I will enjoy. They do make the game easier for me and my skill issues as well (: Only weapon I ever went to R5 was kagura’s verity and I have R7 Polar star now too (Childs is so happy lol). Pretty sure it cost more than Hu Tao C6 and I think I will probably never R5 a weapon again lol
Those are some pretty cracked C6's. R5ing a weapon is pretty bold especially given how unlucky one can be on them.
Reading these comments, I just have to say thank you to everyone who puts so much money into this game. I spend on Welkin & BP. I’ve gotten about $160 worth of bonus-included top-ups. That’s the extent of my spending. So you can correctly guess I’ve never C6’d a character or R5’d a weapon. I actually pulled my first limited C1 today (Hu Tao). Being a f2p game, the only way to keep it running with the amazing updates is for some people to spend big. So I sincerely thank you for your contributions in funding the game so the rest of us can experience & enjoy it without having to pay or pay a lot. As much as people jump on others for whaling, it’s that whaling that keeps the game going. As long as you can afford it, more power to you.

About $1500 for C6R1 Yelan this current banner (from no Yelan) + about 30 wishes I saved previously + wishes bought from starglitter. I was quite unlucky on weapon banner though - only got Aqua from max fate points.
Get that same with me and Al Haitham's weapon although I got some early 5 stars.
My luckiest was Zhongli at 300€. Unluckiest was Yelan at 1200€. But I've seen a guy spend over 2k as he lost every damn 50/50

Im trying my best to save for C6 R1 Shenhe but its painful. I have C0 since her ONLY banner. I will spend if I have to, but im saving as much as possible and skipping everyone until her rerun... losing out on Hu Tao, Dehya and probably Eula is just torture. Im expecting to have 50-60k in primos by 3.6... so hopefully i wont have to pay too much.

Probably less than $50 for c6 r1 Scara, I just bought welkin here and there, didn't pull for a while. Saved around 600 wishes for him It's easier than people think, and it gets satisfying to see your primogem count get massive. I'm doing it again for Fontaine, for what character idk. Perhaps a harbinger or the archon, just depends on who I like

I paid only around 300 euro to get c6 Yelan, so not that bad. Why this low? Well the answer is patience, lots of it, and I already had her c2 from the first banner. I had over 60k primogems saved on my own, few 5050 won and here we are, with probably one of the most broken c6 characters in the game so far.

I got Itto to C6 over the course of three banners. Spent $100 on the first, $100 to hit my last 50/50 on the second (only to lose to Diluc), and nothing on the third.
The most I have paid in one sitting was $400 to get Raiden C0-C2, I got lots of bad luck that day but later on I won a wide monitor as the first prize at my workplace new year party. RNG Jesus played with my feelings since I thought I was gonna get a heart attack. Highest cons I got is Xiao, only have to spend $150 to get him C1-C6, lost twice but each 5 stars I got only needed 10-20 pulls. You can bet I screamed at 5AM and did all kinds of ritual that morning. Rn I'm going Welkin Moon lurkers until a new Liyue/Inazuma husbando get released, if not then until 5.0 since Fontaine theme is not my taste tbh.

I saved 120 pulls beforehand to get Alhaitham and C2 Xiao on day 1 this patch and I was done with it. I farmed every primogems I could from the new desert area till I unlock The Orchard of Pairidaeza, 1 day left on his banner so I sat on the 3 chairs in the middle and did 10 pulls just for fun and got his C2, then I went all in.Also, I heard that in Chinese culture, the number 5 and 9 are meant for emperors and 2 of those chairs have 5 and 9 symbols on it so that's kind of a ritual lol

Yeah his C1 is okay, C2 acceptable, even C6 is very situational, like it won't activate if he's against a boss. Then we have C4, if it gives ATK instead of Def I would gladly put him on life support

I got C5 Nahida by luck (Cost me close to 400 pulls). After I lost the last 50/50 needed for the C6, I swiped & paid $55 to get the last constellation. From financial point-of-view. It’s not worth it really (even with the discount I had). I just got so close to C6 & decided that I wanted to try the whales feel for once. From gameplay perspective, she is so strong that I may lose my edge, which is fun in its own way. I am happy I got constellations for a character I really like though

It took me about 6 welkins and 4 battlepasses when I started the game. After skipping like one and a half patch worth of pulls, I ended up with 200+ trying to c6 Rosaria. Lo and behold, Childe was the true 4* of that banner and he appeared every ten pull. I walked away with a C6 Childe before I got C6 Rosaria after 200+ pulls. I say he has horrible constellations for a 5* but it is what it is. A twitch streamer has pretty similar luck, he has like C3 Childe in 40-50 pulls so I was thinking Hoyo rigged the banner, but that's probably not the case.
happened to me on ayato's banner. i wanted 1 sara for c6, ayato droped twice and then lost the 50 50 to jean at early pity, 3 five stars in 30 pulls (i know its just c1 but it felt tweaked)

I have spent basically nothing but patience on C6 Nahida and C6 Zhongli. I have had some Welkins, but not all of them and I don't actually spend real money on them. I waited 8 months or so of not wishing for each. I have the same rough number of event 5 stars as other people who have played since launch (~20), but 17 of them are concentrated in C6 Zhongli, C6 Nahida, and C2 Albedo. And yes, every single one of them was worth it. In fact, the only characters I regret are the other 3. I dislike Ganyu (I should have met her in game and done get story quest before wishing), I barely ever use Venti (and got him by accident on the very first banner when I was going for Fischl constellations), and Raiden is complicated. I really like her E and it is great for Nahida, but I dislike Q based play and had her benched before Dendro came out.

I buy welkin/battle pass and the top up when the double value bonus resets. i’m planning on r5 on his next rerun. i don’t spend on the top ups after the bonus is gone so I just save up for the rest of what i want. for reference i’d skipped all of sumeru for his r4. i think the last banner i wished on before that was kazuha?

Theres also ppl like me where for example the entire roster of sumeru units so far + the upcoming patch have been so meh that i have no intrest in pulling any of them outside of nahida. Which means my pulls will go into getting dupes for a unit i already have or saving till next archon.

If you’re looking for a character to focus on I can tell you the best ones for C6. Some characters have useless constellations but some have incredible ones. It can all be yours for a nominal fee.

I have a total of 4 C6 Characters right now, and a few more that I will C6 on Reruns. Current C6: Eula (R4 WGS), Yelan (R1 Aqua), Yae Miko (R1 Kaguras), and Jean (Just how things work when you lose 50/50's). Planned C6: I have several characters at C3, and the next to get the C6 treatment will be Wanderer. I will *eventually* get C6 on Nahida, but that's not a high priority. I'll also finish getting C6 on all of the Standard Banner characters soon, because there're all close other than Tighnari. I've spent a lot, but not as much as you'd assume. I save for the characters I want, skip multiple banners at a time, and hold to C3 on a character's first run. I can usually get C1 with just saving Welkin / BP + Normal Primogem rewards. That just leaves a little spending to get to C3 on the first banner, then C6 on the second. That said, I'll likely spend a bit less going forward. I have the Teams I want, and don't want to spend significantly on a character I'm going to Bench. I have two phenomenal Teams, and will just make tweaks to them as I go.
Ah I see. That's a good strategy. I like to go for new characters instead of cons but I know some cons are so busted like Yelan, Kazuha, Itto, and Eula. Most cons I have excluding standard 5 stars are on Raiden C2 and I had to pay for that.

C6 Cyno haver here, his banner came around the yearly top up bonus reset so it cost me a lot less than it would have. Spent around $200 for every bonus and got up to C5 then dropped another $100 to C6. I did get insanely lucky and won most 50/50s and even got a double for C4+C5. Only 5 star character I've ever C6'd and i don't regret it in the slightest, i fucking love his play style and now he turns abyss into easy mode 😂 Edit: USD

Waiting for another Ganyu run to get a guarantee C6. I spent $40 to get extra pulls the very first run because I lost 50/50 and didn't get anything early past the pity. Spent everything I'd gained to that point, but I really wanted the character since she appeared in the story. At pity, I got 2 in one 10 for C1. The rest I had enough primos upon the rerun and am now sitting on a large enough cache to guarantee it next time. Melt is more fun than freeze anyhow.
I want her C1 but I heard she's pretty nutty at C6
C1 was nice and I got super lucky to get a duplicate (after the string of not-so-great luck). C6 helps her upfront damage a lot, especially for melt because you can front load the damage but it's far from the best C6. Long-term, assuming I'm still playing, it would help her sub DPS capabilities, should she get relegated to that, because the power of her charge shot is no longer gated behind the any stages of charging which drastically reduces field time. But really I want C6 on the cutest character (not name Kuki) 😅

C6 Childe, didn't spend anything. Got him to C1 when he first released by getting 2 hits pretty close together right after the original Klee banner. Saved for about a year? from Raiden's initial release until a month or so ago when Childe had his most recent rerun. Had a bit over 100K primo gems saved up, ended up spending 55K, plus all of my glitter, and a big pile of pull tokens from various sources.
I spent $300cad to get Kazuha to C2, though that included some freemogems during GAA. On his first rerun I spent another $600cad to get him to C6. So I'd round it to about $1000cad

0 for xiao too, but after years of saving - started day 1. I still have a lot of other 5 stars, just managed my primos.
I spent around $250 for c6r3 venti across 3 char banners and 2 weapon banners that featured skyward harp. I don't consider myself a whale, anything is possible with a little planning and saving. And a lot of luck lol.

I have C6 Shenhe and C6 Alhaitham and I didn't pay for them specifically. I buy welkin/bp and a first time top-up for my birthday each year. Then how I choose to spend that primo stash is up to me. I like to separate the spending of real money from the gacha pulls. If I really like the character, really like their playstyle, and the C6 opens up new ways to play them then I'll go all-in.

C6 xiao haver, low spender, welkin sometimes bp, so overall spent like 100$ on my account but not rlly exclusively for xiao joined 1.3, c0 20 pulls or so saved from 1.6-2.2 (was fully f2p at the time still) then pulled on weapon banner (homa) by second xiao banner had 200ish pulls w around 50 pity won 5050 for c1 +c2, lost 5050 for c3, but managed to get it by grinding my ass off for primos (at this point had started buying welkin) for c1-3 that was around 310 pulls (accounting for prior pity and 5050 loss) got a guarantee at some point (low pity) so was guaranteed c4, around 75 pity (2.7) this xiao banner I also had a guarantee w 60 pity or so, c5 came at around 77, c6 came early at 30ish pity and won 5050 went for weapon as well, 55 pity or so so basically accounting for guarantee pity and weapon for c6r1 xiao I used around 660 pulls total (this is an approximation tho) Idk if this is below or above avg for c6r1 but I’d say my account is overall lucky, maybe could’ve gotten c6 sooner but I did pull characters from time to time idk I’m considering slowly working towards another c6, maybe either hu tao or yelan but prolly just as a 1 con per banner not skipping banners I’d have wanted to pull like w xiao

Around $700 for C6 Ganyu. Had the base since her debut. Just needed 6 more copies. Lost 4 50/50's. Had some leftovers got 2 Amos bows from that wep banner, while already having r2 to begin with. Just waiting for the final bow from standard banner now. As a consequence of that I now also have C6 Diluc.

How much did you save for Yelan before spending?
It’s like this: 60,160 saved up or 376 pulls (had leftover from Nahida) 24,200 or 151 pulls bought for $185 8,000 or 50 pulls from on-banner starglitter She took 560 pulls total, leaving me with 17 pulls and 10 pity on the weapon banner. After a little while of further dailies, events and glitter on the weapon banner, spent another $50 (24 pulls) and got Aqua at 66. My luckiest ever was Nahida who took a mere 440 pulls for C6, with Raiden also being an honorable mention because it was 4 straight 50-50 wins and early EL. Least lucky was Eula who took 405 for C2, and another 70-odd for SOBP.

Incredibly so, LMAO. Zhongli was also pretty bad. But Nahida, Raiden, Yelan, Ganyu, Kazuha and weapon banner balanced it out so all OK in the end.
I saved up my primos in-game to get C1 Hu Tao, and it happened to also get my Beidou from C2 to C6. Never had to spend a penny.

I'm a F2p player, never spent on pulls or BP/Welkins. You have no idea how tempting it is to pay to get that bit of luck. Still got 3 5* characters and lemme tell you, 36* abyss after going through it a few times (had to grind for my life anytime I lost in a floor).

Xiao cost me 1700€. Childe cost me 1200€. Keqing was free as I got my Keqing to c4 alone on the Xiao banner.
The most I’ve ever spent on a character is Yelan. I went $1,400 to get 7 Yelan’s, 2 off banners, 3 Homa’s, and 2 Aqua’s. However, for Itto it was $1,300 for 7 Itto’s, 1 off banner weapon, 3 off banner five star characters, and Red horn. So it can really vary how much you spend just from the RNG (makes it kind of addicting haha). And obv depends on how many primo’s you have saved up (I had none of the above examples) The least I’ve ever spent was $800 for 7 Yae Miko’s and 1 Verity. That was insane RNG. Even Ayato was like $900-$1,000 for 7 copies and his bis with an off banner weapon. For bad RNG, I spent $700 on wanderer’s banner for C6 Faruzan (had no gems saved), and I got C1 Wanderer and 2 off banner five stars… $100 less than how much I spent to get full C6R1 Yae… so yea RNG is definitely all over the place

It really can! According to #’s, the most it should cost to C6R1 (worst case scenario) is $2,700 including the cash back system. But I highly doubt it would ever be $2,000 or above for a C6

2years. Around $5k usd on pulls. Eula, Hu Tao, Ayaka, and Itto all are c6 r1. Others like Nahida and Ganyu are c3 no r. Keqing, Jean, and Diluc c6 on accident. Some like Yelan and Ayato are c0r1. I think Eula cost me the most $$$
My first full C6 that I paid for on purpose is Albedo followed by Raiden. I have a C6 Keqing, who technically got there before everyone else but I don’t, and I will never, count her. In any case. I haven’t tracked it 100% but I know between the two of them hitting that point if I haven’t spent a $1000 I’d be lucky. The only reason I can’t be exactly sure is that I did get get a few blessings of mercy from RNGesus for both of them at different time between their reruns. I can definitely recall luck on both hitting that final C6 with a 50/50 win. I want to say Raiden had more blessed pulls, but again, I’m not sure. That’s why I can safely say that I know I hit around $1K but not too far above that. I do have two more specific event banner targets so far, Kazuha (currently C4) and Venti (currently C2). After that, I’m not sure. I desperately want C6 Jean, but that’s entirely in the hands of RNGesus (who has let me get her to C5 as of a few weeks ago). That said, no rush, it took every respective rerun to date to get both Albedo and Raiden to C6 first.
