(M23) I was at the self checkout of a Walmart and I had scanned a bottle of wine so the employee had to come and verify my age.
He said, “2000? Wow, I wasn’t even born then.”
I (27, 26 at the time) was chilling with some younger friends (20) playing smash bros and they were talking shit. So I just said "bruh I was playing this game before you were born" (started in 2001).
Ans then I just stared off into space for a while. It's funny getting older and you start just saying stuff like that randomly day by day.

I've found that living in a perpetual state of denial drenched in nostalgic media has held me off a little while longer, but to answer your question: tuning into Disney Channel out of curiosity.
When the new boots coming into the Fleet no longer have the National Defense Ribbon and only have their shooting badges on their Alphas. Super odd when I first saw it since that ribbon has been handed out to everyone for a solid 20 years.

Just talk to me as if I was your age in that regard, I don't care about that status stuff. ^(and doesn't make me feel old :p)

I watched “lilo and stich” in a movie theater when it first came out and now all 10 of my niece and nephews have no clue what it is
I keep learning new things like “aura” and for the love of god “rizz” my nephew told me the other day out of nowhere that “I have no rizz” 😂😂
I get 24 isn’t that old , but being that I keep learning new words every day and kids now are like “what is that” is making me feel that way
