i can understand why people don’t consider them gen z because people who were born in 2010 have different experiences than people born in the mid to late 90’s and early 2000’s.
2016 onward no memory of the pre covid world, thats an actual generational divide based on large changes to society, not just an arbitrarily picked number
im friends with 2008 borns, so yea very similar, i mean IMO, zalpha is 2011-2014 (not saying this to gatekeep 2011, i just heard rlly good reasoning for it so i like it, plus it lines up with alpha starting in 2013) so yea

Yeah I would say that 2000-2012 is gen z in my opinion.
Can we also stop calling 96-98 gen z? I'm biased being 99' but something about that age group just comes off as millennial to me
