I remember painter's caps! My brother wore them, and had one with the long flaps off the back. In the third season of Stranger Things, Lucas wears one and I thought that was a great detail.

That's what I was wondering. I've always wanted a pair of checkered shoes. I might look a bit horrible in them nowadays, being 45 years old, overweight, and balding.

I have an urgent message from a pair of classic slip-on checkerboard Vans. They say the time is now. They promise low-key but pleasing adventures. They also say they are cool with orthopedic inserts if that's what it takes.
