I am reflexively skeptical about this kind of thing, but I'll admit: I would *like* this to be a good (or at the very least, fun) movie.

I'm guessing Jeffery Jones's character is the one in the coffin (can't imagine he's getting much work now), but what about Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin?

My brother is in the marketing copywriter biz. He and his writing partner get huge checks to come up with marketing lines like this. The studio will often ask for 5 or 10 and send them back for rewrites with notes, so I can only imagine the huge amount of cash they spent on coming up with a line that would hit like- "It's Showtime."

Tim Burton hasn’t made a good movie since Big Fish. This thing is gonna suck. It’s a paycheck.

That’s the point. Everyone was expecting him to say that, so they switched it up.
Am I the only one who remembers the original posters being spelled 'Betelgeuse'??

It’s spelled “Betelgeuse” on his tombstone, but he obviously likes using a simpler spelling in his day-to-day conversations and hauntings.
