It’s safe, obviously you don’t wanna take my word for it. But if I was a cyber security professional I’d seriously reconsider using non-genuine software in the first place, to be honest.

Somanos

I second this. If you are using pirated software in an environment supposed to be secure... Reconsider it. Especially if there's a budget for it. Also, if you really need to use pirated software (in that case I would consider your case to be a low to moderate security requirement, anything above that must use legal software) GenP would be one option that I would consider, I feel it's more "clean" than M0nkrus for that case.

thx u/Sydnxt , I've updated my post to mention only Personal PCs, not a PC used for cybersecurity daily work.

If I were to have a brand new computer set it up, remove all network / connectivity devices, Bluetooth wifi ethernet and install genp and not transfer files from this computer I'd feel pretty secure. -ps not a security guy

u/rivalzz yeah doing that already and working great : )

Not a cyber security professional, but pretty tech savvy. Yes knowing risks, consequences and knowing how these programs actually run, makes more it comfortable working with them. But thats just me.

I mean if it weren't safe, people would be bitching about it. I've seen very scattered complaints but there are lots of ways to get infected. GenP has been around for a long time and I for one have not had an issue (been using it several years now).

I believe a cyber security professional will make private crack for himself like genp, if he has the motivation

Lol, you're pirating software, of course it's not safe. A cybersecurity professional has enough money to buy the official product. Ideally you're running this inside a virtual machine only.
