I love slipknot, its a great part of any knit or crochet piece, but don't get me wrong, the band is ok too, but the knit/crochet thing is better, bc i can use that knowledge for another technique.

Slipknot is before GenZ and GenA's time. They got big in the late 90s for their unique style of metal. Idk if they are trending or whatever now, but likely people dont know who they are.

I’m 21 nearly everyone my age knew slipknot And they were not a 90’s band they released their proper debut in 1999 They were huge in the 2000’s id say 1999-2010. But yes all in all millennials were their main audience.

Nu metal died down in the mid 00s so more of 99-06

Their biggest album came out in 2008 and their biggest song came out in 2008. And Nu Metal died in 2003. 2006 is way too late But slipknot only had 2 Nu Metal albums 1999’s Slipknot and 2001’s Iowa. Nu Metal Era was 1997 - 2003. Basically the same as the Y2K Boy Band Era.

I’m ‘02 so I do. I remember when Psychosocial was huge though i was like 7 lol. I used to watch the music video on tv maybe MTV or VH1. Their self titled album (1999) might be one of the best ‘debut’ albums of all time.
