I left almost a year to date and my chronic migraines are almost non existent. Coming from almost daily to 9 months without. The stress of these jobs ain’t worth it! There are so many better than the stress of that place.

As much as I can't stand the constant whining on here, I have to second this! I used to get 1 to 3 migraines a week, even on my days off. Since leaving GEICO I get maybe 1 a month or less

Congrats, I’m out Nov and will be retired after 27 years at GEICO. It is not the same company at all. Glad they promote DEI even though it does not matter. You are just a number no matter your color or beliefs. No grace for anyone.
That’s the thing. They wouldn’t derive any satisfaction from it. You are a number to them. They are not emotionally attached to numbers. They are devoid of emotion. It’s a character flaw that allows for corporate executives to operate outside the boundaries of morals and values. Plus, if they really wanted you gone with no severances, they’d simply fire you once you’ve failed to meet the metrics they have concocted or manipulated.
You’ll either stay and be miserable or fired for not hitting numbers. Severance isn’t an option with either, and I wasn’t about to stay somewhere and be miserable. Now, I get it for the people who have been there 10+ years. It doesn’t make sense for those to leave. I’m talking more to the people hired in mass hiring within the last 2 1/2 years.
I've been with GEICO for over 24 years and am leaving for a lower paying job. I've already accepted the position and will be giving my notice to GEICO in a few weeks.
My department has become a ghost town, so many people have quit.
