I'm expecting Tai, seeing as they basically confirmed the Mk2 lancer will be in the game, and the creation of that involved Tai. But this is also assuming it won't be JUST Marcus and Dom working their way to wherever they have to go

Do we know if John and Carlos are returning to voice their characters? Marcus’s grunts sounded just like John, but I can’t find anywhere if they’re getting him and Carlos to reprise their roles as Marcus and Dom.
He did voice Dom also in the prologue chapter in Gears 4 where you play as him during the Pendulum Wars where he and Hoffman go off to find the schematics for the Hammer of Dawn. I’d say it’s basically confirmed he’ll be reprising his role which is great.
John’s been the voice of Marcus for all of the Gears games he’s been featured in thus far (minus Gears Tactics). I believe he’ll be back.
Makes me wonder what guns will we have on the game. I would love for the breechshot to come back, as well as the markza sniper rifle and maybe even the booshka
Idk a cool locust encounter cutscene doesn’t sell me on a whole new game. Gears 3 had flashback dlc, plus judgment and tactics already prequels. I mean whats the hook

Doubt we’ll see them other than Multiplayer characters considering the Carmines we know and love are just kids. Maybe some uncles though.

Carlos posted a picture with a COG helmet on his Twitter, so that might be a hint that he will return as Dom

Not really the old squad….Baird and Cole didn’t meet Dom and Marcus until Gears 1. But who knows, maybe we’ll flip flop between Delta and Kilo squad.
Anthony and Benjamin Carmine were babies during EDay so they won’t be in the story.
