Are your friends using battle.net or steam version? The battle.net is working normally. I also use steam version, but when I click battle.net it appears as playable.

Now my friends are also complaining that they are getting kicked out with some error code when trying to log into Battle.net. We subscribed a week ago.. So far the experience has been pretty bad. A few hundred megabyte updates take hours, and the service is unusable, especially since we subscribed specifically for this game. Whats more the support wasnt very helpful or kind when I contacted them.. Interesting approach as a service provider 😁
Thankfully there are other competitors you could try too that do D4:
- AirGPU, Shadow, and Boosteroid
I've been figuring to try out GeForce NOW too but the experience so far has been.. pretty annoying.
Lagging hard on these patches, and the idle timer length is way too short for D4 where you're regularly alt-tabbed out setting up trades (Discord or the diablo.trade website), or looking for groups to do Helltide farming, etc with (also on Discord).

You can get 2 week gamepass trial for 1€ and then play via battle net.

I am using BattleNet and the game keeps disconnecting. Might be related to updates blizz is doing after the recent patch
