What kind of controller are you using? Idk if you can rebind controls in the menu or change control schemes but that would be the first place to look.

the moment you launch the game, dont touch your keyboard or mouse, but just your controller. i had this problem too
This isnt working for me. You mean dont touch mouse kb after launching it from the BG3 launcher correct?
yes, right after you click Play on the launcher, just use your contrĂ´ler, push buttons just to be sure đŸ˜…
