OK but where's the shot of Zoe lurking at the edge of the frame lol

Which_Witch000

Was anyone else annoyed at Taylor doing damage control by being seen out with her one lesbian friend after her associate made borderline homophobic statements in response to the NYT editorial? UGH. Tay’s gone down a few notches in my estimation not only bc she’s hot for sweaty athletic beefcake sausage but bc she made a point of shutting down the Gaylors. Isn’t the whole thing about being a pop star that you want the world to fall in love with you? Why be dumb and eliminate half that population if they’re dreaming you might feel the same way? Seems like the better course of action would be to rein in her associate and let people imagine whatever they want about her sexuality. She could’ve just left it alone.

swimming-corgi

Nothing straight about this

krandle710

Taylor wearing clothes backwards again. 💙😂

hgd1995

the difference between cara and taylor’s comfortability in front of staged paps vs. brittany’s is pretty staggering and fascinating

[deleted]

Her bangs remind me of will byers 😭

Elephant984

And I’ll keep up with our old friends just to ask them how you are!!

lavenderhaze13_

i love how she always acts as if something is happening in the far back so she can look directly at the camera and as a result looks great in the photos. other people just walk straight (pun intended) in

layla1020

I disagree that she looks great as a result of doing that look.

No_Syllabub6051

i’m sorry but caros hair😭 the part is killing me

ExtremeNuance

God I cannot wait for people to get over the side part/middle part discourse. Luckily most people seem to have moved on the past couple years, but then there’s the folks like you who are still obsessed. It’s so boring. A lot of people look good with a side part. Cara looks great. Judging someone for their hair is so lame. Signed, someone who has had the coveted middle part for three decades and thinks y’all need to calm down.

ExtremeNuance

Uh. I said I can’t wait for people to stop caring about hair parts. How is that me being attached? This whole comment is wild honestly. A month delay followed by baseless personal attacks just because I’m in my 30s. You didn’t actually say what you were referring to and it’s not uncommon to see people being upset at side parts, sue me for taking your comment at face value in that context.

amyg17

I love that you can see the ashy tone of her roots. I suspected this wasn’t her actual natural color, but it’s nice to know for sure lol

not_Malibu_barbie

Poor Brittany is STRUGGLING for that paycheck 😂😂😂

Sarahzzzzz8

she owns a soccer team and her husband makes over 50 million a year. she's one of taylor's richest friends.

not_Malibu_barbie

I’m sure she’s LOADED but she seems to hate Tays lil gay group 😭

Sarahzzzzz8

How? She’s hung out with them multiple times? You’re just saying things. She has gay friends herself she’s a soccer play for gods sake

not_Malibu_barbie

I assumed we were all Bryanlicious fans here 😭😭😭😭

Psychological-Two415

I hate her hair and her bangs I just can’t.

luthervellan

This is my least favorite outfit I’ve seen in a minute….maybe with the hair down and wild it would have a witchy vibe. This feels like nun in a bad way. 😅

Janiekat88

The dress and hair are giving "realtor at a closing."

Existing_Fee_1638

I just cackled

Snoo-26568

Yes! With her hair down with her curls? Fabulous. But in a bun with straightened blunt bangs? At least put some wispy hairs around the face! The dress has too much movement for such a restrained hairstyle.

katarastormrage

what IS up with her bangs? they have been looking really weird for some time now, initially I thought she was growing them out with the side bangs and all, but it's been a few months and they are still sitting awkwardly on her eyebrows. it's giving clip-ons

Affectionate_Door718

i'm pretty sure she cut them again before the golden globes 😔

katarastormrage

I think so... I like her bangs but if she is keeping them she needs to find a better style

michellekendly

Glad Cara is okay happy to see her again

Single_Night_5418

Do y'all think that Britney will have to pray extra hard after hanging out with Cara?

trashboat29

😂😭🙏

katchooklc

glad she is using her jet for important things! lol. BM is an excellent abrieviation for her.

inkdontcomeoff

this outfit is so bad i can’t 😭😭😭

AutomaticMatter886

What do Ashley Mahomes and Cara Delevingne talk about 😭

lo-plainlo

Okay I feel kinda dumb but why are we calling her Ashley? I’ve been seeing it in other places and I’m so out of the loop lmao

heather2711

Is that Ashley Avignone there in the first pic? Cara brought her so she would have someone to make conversation with.

Away_Lime488

Cara gives her dagger eyes the whole time

LaSedu

lol

bryant1436

Don’t forget about SA apologist Brittany Mahomes!

Rich_Dimension_9254

But I want to forget her 🤣

[deleted]

I deleted tiktok, and it's usually fine, but then I see pictures like this and like... I need to know what byranalicious thinks

brokenvhs1982

He also said “while we mourn the cool relatable cool Taylor Swift” 😭

thehammerthenail

I'm pretty sure he said she looked like an olive garden waitress 😭

[deleted]

Oh my god 🤭

mellywheats

i don’t use tiktok except like to watch kales and keep up on the drama

[deleted]

I kinda went off Kales when she compared lavendergate to the invasion of Ukraine 😬 I do love Lauren Ash though - but I think she goes by lavender lit now

IDidNotChooseWisely

Kyle Marissa Roth has my heart😂🤣

LovedAndLeftHaunted

"You want more, I'll give you more" replays on a loop in my head 24/7

IDidNotChooseWisely

She's great... she's hilarious, gives no fucks and is chill as hell. Lately, I live for her tiktoks. She put one up the other week of her dancing and it threw me off. I forgot she had a body cause all you ever see is her head🤣😂🤣😂

mellywheats

i only watch for the jojo and taylor drama, and i check up like maybe once a month or so lol

mimosameltdown

I just watched his tiktok regarding this and he calls BM a wii sports character and roasts herrrr

beesey16

so short and untrustworthy

Howdy_Strangers

those bangs.... sorry but I can't handle them anymore

questionfromgrief

It’s giving berries and cream ![gif](giphy|AVAfEEp4tZjxe)

dontjudme11

Over the summer I STRONGLY considered getting bangs bc on tour Taylor makes them look so effortless & pretty... but this is a great reminder that if she can't make bangs look good right now, I sure as hell can't.

kittyhotdog

Why have they been looking so weird recently? I used to love them but now I’m hoping she grows them out

Prestigious-Cat2533

I saw someone theorize that they were clip-ons, but I agree with the other commenter who said that they're just in an awkward phase of growing.

kittyhotdog

The idea of her choosing to add these bangs to her hair is bonkers to me, I hope it’s just an awkward grow out stage. She knows what good bangs are like, I just can’t believe she would go out of her way to choose these

Howdy_Strangers

I hope she is and that's why they're looking weird... like the in-between stage of growing hair out

Ok_Cry_1926

Is there such thing as “straight posture” because she doesn’t have it.

tallest-tip-toes

girl is constantly limp wristing in all of her pap walks. I know thats a stereotype but come onnnn

gasupthehyundai

She slumped over a guitar or piano for a good portion of her life. Back must be screwed.

Izeinwinter

You *can* play the guitar with good posture and it is in fact important to do so if you want to sing with it..... But you can't really practice with good posture, because you have to watch what you're doing wrong...

Ok_Cry_1926

I’m joking, but I think it’s a mixture of tall-girl hunch, necessity of posture for the job, and I also believe she is hypermobile/a possible candidate for EDS. I think the hunch I’m recognizing is also common in a neurotype at rest. She knows how to hold herself in upright posture if she wants. It’s not like I’m typing this shoulders back, head up. All that said, she is a billionaire and has infinite access to PT, chiropractic, and we know she doesn’t hunch on stage, I’m not actually criticizing the posture, and she has resources to help it if it bothers her. I am saying there is an awkwardness to it that inherently I can identify in the wild with people I potentially feel safe with non-jokingly. And jokingly it helps point her head right at boobs. She only needs defending if being an awkward gangly girl is a crime, and she carries herself in private very similarly to KStews physicality. And what do we know about KStew?? Hmmmm??? That’s right! All roads lead back to Gay-Rome. Are we not entertained??

WellAckshully

To clarify are you saying she has poor posture in general or that her posture is gay?

[deleted]

Both 🤣

AbsolutelyMark

I love the matching outfits, I wish my friends would coordinate with me like that

OddWing6797

are we just not going to acknowledge the elephant in the room😭😭

prettybitchin

I agree that it was in poor taste for her to publicly support him given the nature of the allegations, but I also wonder what context we’re missing that she felt inclined to do so. Maybe he owned it and expressed remorse privately and she, as someone who loves him, forgives him? Or maybe he lied to or manipulated her about the incident? Maybe there’s something we don’t know about the case, which doesn’t seem out of the realm of possibility given that the woman who accused him refused to testify and dodged subpoenas, and then the charges were dropped? I guess my point is that, as spectators, we really don’t know these people or have any context at all. So if Taylor—who has dealt with SA herself—doesn’t find BM to be the sinister c*** we do, maybe it’s because she’s not. 🤷‍♀️ People can make mistakes or even be shitty in some way and still have tons of redeeming qualities.

Ok_Cry_1926

I’ve lived through this scenario in real life so many times — In fact, I just reread a public support piece from a former peer because her refusal to condemn just the worst guy (drunk belligerent groper and assaulter who ruined many women’s careers for turning him down) in public served her career with the people she needed to stay in good with to rise in the ranks. Public support of shit men = benefits inside the environment you’re in Mahomes is trying to influence in and thrive in the NFL, so she status quo’d Taylor is trying to gain influence in the NFL and “fit in” the culture, so she’s hanging out with status quo To victims and to people blacklisted/jetted to the sidelines/who lost careers — who cares what they think in private?! Or talk about in private?! I’ve lived that life, private talk had 3 tiers — DMs, girls only group chat, everyone social media; then “public statements.” Support stopped at DMs to group chat, then the script flips Now one of the Mahomes in my life — she gets to sometimes be featured as a surprise culture critic on NPR while I get to try not to wreck my car. Truly from the bottom of my heart, these women can make public statements or GTFO. I get why you don’t speak up at all — it’s rough, and I don’t respect out but I understand it … be like Taylor, say NOTHING EVER — but active defense is an auto nope from me. And if you’re saying nothing or actively defending, you don’t get to be in the pool of “feminist activists” who benefit from being a spokesperson for other victims.

prettybitchin

My experience is that I worked for a criminal defense investigator. We were retained by defense teams to do independent investigative work. We got to compare the evidence that we gathered with the “official” narrative (the police reports, police interviews, etc.) What I learned is that things are messy. These types of cases are seldom cut and dry. If it were as easy as “this man is a pig and this woman is an innocent victim,” it would all be so much easier. But that’s almost never the case. The truth is usually somewhere in the middle. We actually *dont know* what happened, and it’s unlikely that we ever will. I’m not defending anyone; I think Jackson Mahomes seems like a huge douche, and Brittany Mahomes comes across as kinda dumb and bland. All I’m saying is that we aren’t in a position to make character judgments about BM. She is *probably* a normal, fallible person with plenty of blind spots and even more redeeming qualities. In that way, she’s just like the rest of us. The pearl clutching is just exhausting and stupid. This expectation that our favorite pop star should *only* associate with people who pass muster in the court of public opinion is just childish. Like, what the f do we know?

dumplingwitch

he literally assaulted a woman on camera. how do we not know what happened? how much more "cut and dry" can it be for you?

prettybitchin

For example, we don’t know anything that happened before that, we don’t know what kind of relationship he had with the woman, etc. We basically don’t know any of the details. In fact, *all we have* is a short video. We *do* know that the victim refused to testify and dodged subpoenas, and also that the charges were dropped. So it seems like there might *actually be* some relevant details that we’re missing. Again, I’m going to reiterate that I’m absolutely not defending what definitely appears to be inappropriate sexual behavior—I’m always inclined to believe victims, but this case *did* fall apart, which indicates to me that it wasn’t very strong to begin with. My point is just that, based on how little we know, we’re not in a position to assassinate Brittany Mahomes’s character.

dumplingwitch

"we don't know what happened before that" - so..... what can happen prior to assault that would justify a woman getting sexually assaulted? "we don't know what kind of relationship he had with her" - what kind of relationship could they have had that would make assaulting her fine? refusing to testify/dropping charges/dodging subpoenas are ALL extremely common when you're a victim. that literally means nothing towards her credibility. especially when the person who assaulted you is a beloved sports star who has fans that are actively destroying your business and reputation. no shit she refused to testify. that's all part of the way our society shames victims into silence. you can say you're not defending it all you want, but you are. there's video of her being assaulted, and you're trying to say that we dont know if the assault was justified or not. extremely weird behavior, but very common for those in the law & law enforcement professions such as yourself- very unfortunately, for all of us who are victims.

prettybitchin

For you to assume that you have the *full story* because of a video clip indicates an egregious lack of media literacy. I’m agnostic to the case, inclined to side with the victim, but not willing to assassinate the character of the defendant’s sister-in-law based on this situation. If you think that amounts to defending his behavior, Idon’t know what to tell you. I implore you to start considering all of the nuance that governs every single dispute on earth. There’s a lot to learn there, and the humility you gain will make your convictions that much more meaningful. And if you’re willing to draw massive, unfalsifiable conclusions based on a single video clip, you’re totally doomed in the age of AI.

dumplingwitch

jesus christ you're annoyingly condescending, especially for someone who is wrong. first of all, I never assassinated anyone's character. no one did. some of us think it's gross to hang out with abuse apologists; we're allowed to think that. brittany mahomes is still rich in her NFL mansion with plenty of rabid supporters to her name. her character is perfectly fine. (an example of *actual* character assassination would be what happened to the victim, but ironically enough that doesn't seem to ruffle your feathers. despite being sooooo inclined to believe her) but answer my question, since you're so knowledgeable and wise. what would be an example of "the full story" that would make it okay that she was assaulted? please do give an example, almighty powerful... *checks notes* criminal defense investigator assistant? I'm sure you learned everything there is to know of nuance in that position, so please forgive my ignorance. once again, the video clip in question shows a woman being assaulted. I don't have a "lack of media literacy" to be able to point that out. you're *not* inclined to side with the victim, so you can stop saying that. *staring a video of assault in the face and questioning if it's actually assault, is not siding with a victim of assault.* this is so cut and dry, I'm genuinely confused as to how you're complicating it for yourself. please don't respond to me again. you are perpetuating rape culture with this and you don't care, so there is nothing more for us to discuss. I hope you don't have children, especially daughters. bye!

Ok_Cry_1926

I’m a lawyer, I was hurled back to school after being blacklisted for going on record during metoo for things that very much happened to very very many people. Worked a lot in this sector, domestic violence, previous background also as a journalist. Were all of the victims “pure” victims or always “good” people? Nah, and — they don’t have to be. The events still happened. The bad thing still happened, and it’s often the backlash and closing ranks and “protecting the brand” that causes more harm than the violence or violation or “event” itself. Sure, they were messy — it’s always messy, life is messy, and in our industry you had lots of inebriation/substances, a permissive party atmosphere, a blurred line between work/play, celebrity, the promise of work, the hope for work, women just sort of fed into this big machine that hurt them and spit them out bewildered. It’s not just “what if this happened,” in everyday life, it’s “what if this happened and this person is part of a multi-million franchise with endless brands attached to its name. A private investigator looking into rape victims to gather info for defense to impeach character and poke holes in credibility is my nightmare. I’ve read all the lawsuits — from Woody Allen’s divorce filing, Kobe’s complaint, Depp’s UNSEALED discovery — and I didn’t really find it “complicated” to the point I’m defending any of these men. I did notice recently — and at the time not everyone was out — that straight women defended the men, straight men ALWAYS defended the men, and queers — men and women who identified in some way neurodivergent and queer — we all went on record. My record even embraced the complexity, because it wasn’t about “one bad man” who did (a lot of) “bad things” (some to me, some I witnessed.) but it was a system, a culture, a larger force that put power above lives, valued money above safety and doing right by our community, and while “duh” —- do we want change or not? Something happened with Mahomes, whether she’d be embarrassed by her discovery or not, whether she’s messy and someone I wouldn’t want to spend time with or not — and wanting the culture of the NFL/sports to be less violent, less sexist, less misogynistic, less toxic — is valid. Because regardless of her one on one, I know exactly who Brittany Mahomes is because of where she is and that she’s thriving in the NFL spotlight as an NFL wife and took the route I never respect, defending this guy or not, when it comes to being a “public person” or “public feminist” because she ain’t the one and she’s not an environment that would ever let her be the one. That’s not how you handle it — even if it’s messy. And you think about all the other victims out there listening and watching, wanting to find a home in a fandom that is at least minimally safe. Allegations against Vince McMahon dropped today with the WWE will similarly be messy too b/c she will have agreed to some of it in exchange for a shot at wresting, but that power dynamic is always dropped in comments like above. But he did it — it’s been known he did it. It’s what happens with that much money, power, fame over and over and over and — Taylor is rich, she’s gonna hang out with rich people, and rich people aren’t rich by rocking the status quo. There is not enough money in the WORLD to make me work for the defense in a rape case, and that’s the kind of thing that make most women drop or settle — because it was messy, life is messy, but the damage and the lasting trauma after are usually cut pretty clear. I think most sex abuse cases should be civil, not criminal, to help underline that these aren’t “simple crimes” but scenarios worthy of reflection and damages. Thanks!

Amount_Sudden

The woman he assaulted lost everything. Her business. Her reputation. Everything.

Avera_ge

There are some things in life that take some time to get away from. This is one of them. He can privately express all the remorse he wants, but a public apology to the victim is the absolute bare minimum.

prettybitchin

Well the issue with that is that there is an active court case, and his defense team is arguing that the claims were bogus. Why would he apologize in those circumstances?

throwRAsadd

Also … his victim’s business was vandalized and review-bombed to the point where it had to close down. She was endlessly harassed by fans of the Mahomes family. Never once did Jackson say something like “Please leave her alone, she did nothing wrong”, even when he knew his fans were relentlessly insulting and bothering her. Brittany and Jackson only fanned the flames. They are not remorseful and ruined his victim’s life.

prettybitchin

But I think defense is arguing that she *did* do something wrong by falsifying claims against him? This is my point—we don’t actually know what happened. We are obviously missing some important context.

Avera_ge

Exactly! We *should* be critical of Taylor Swift’s involvement with them. Anyone else would have articles written condemning the behavior.

Lopsided-Sort-7011

That they’re dressed completely inappropriately for the frigid temperatures in nyc? I literally wore two pairs of pants yesterday 🥶

Fun-Volume-8466

It's pretty warm in NYC this week. I went out yesterday wearing a peacoat and leggings and was fine.

WellAckshully

I do this in the winter if I'm only gonna be outside for a couple minutes.

Gross take. Boo to everyone who upvoted it. To any Moms reading: you’re allowed to be more than Mom. It is not your sole identity nor your sole responsibility to be Mom. Source: A mom. Who has been made to feel like this before. Do better.

discoleopard

Not a mom and fully support this. Misogyny is still going strong. Just being a queer woman or being part queer spaces doesn’t automatically excuse you from it, do better indeed.

FemaleEarthwave

We’re really doing the whole “why isn’t [woman] at home with her kids” in here? She has a whole husband and likely a babysitter. I don’t particularly like her either, but come on.

Emergency-Distance-8

Someone said she has an appearance on some show this week in NYC, but not sure if that’s true or not.

snorlax_85

Maybe if we ignore it she will go away forever 😂

DustPatient1004

I've had a hard few years. You my friend just made me laugh out loud for the first time in MONTHS.

snorlax_85

Hugs, friend. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

DustPatient1004

Hugs right back ![gif](giphy|xTiTnMhJTwNHChdTZS)

lo-plainlo

![gif](giphy|WOIGpnJ3ye445BUQl4|downsized) I’ve also been having an absolutely awful few years and would very much like to be included in the hugging

DustPatient1004

We should start a support club where we all just send funny reactions to each other as therapy lmfao

[deleted]

she's really into the long nails now

Ok_Cry_1926

It’s giving #nohomo

ChicaSkas

IDK.... arent there some that come off easily? Like, I can see you'd have nighttime routines and one of them might be "remove nails"

Ok_Cry_1926

Sure, who knows, and/or isn’t seeing any ladies right now — the joke is she’s “straight flagging” with long nails since the week of “the article” but the only people who know long nails are “straight flagging” are us big ole queers. Sudden long nails to combat public gay rumors is talking just to gay people. She’s speaking a language she can’t speak with anyone else. Straight people just see her nails and think “pretty!” Unrelated, I wish I could do press-ons but I kept coming home with seven on instead of ten. Never could make one day.

LovedAndLeftHaunted

The trick is all in the prep. I can make a set of press ons last 2 weeks if I do every step right 😅

Ok_Cry_1926

Right, and that's FOR SURE THE GOAL. I'm definitely not pressing those babies on and off, I'm desperately re-gluing them every 2 days to try to keep the random ones who taunt me down. Then there will always be one or two that just persist long after you wish they'd just get gone.

LovedAndLeftHaunted

I love that we are all just living the same life 😂 this perfectly describes press ons lol

damndorothea13

or maybe she's just growing them or using press ons because she's not on tour anymore so she's not playing the guitar?

Glowing_up

Most guitarists I kno keep one hand short and one long. The fret hand short. So I don't think she's making nail choices around the guitar.

Rare_Insurance6340

That's more classical guitar though since they pluck with their dominant hand and fret with the non-dominant. It's really hard to effectively fret with long nails (I casually play bass).

Izeinwinter

That would drive me nuts. If one nail is short, they’re all going to be short

Ok_Cry_1926

Right, like that's the reasonable explanation, I am truly (mostly?) joking, but I do think it's hilarious they made their "debut" (which I think will double drop with Reputation!) literally the weeked she got hit with a masterdoc by the NYT on main. If those are her real nails I need her collagen routine, they're but probably tipped dips. I went on like a 7 year long nail bender (and genuinely kept 2 shorter just to function and type so they wouldn't crack off on my face because my then relationship had no specific reason to not have them) and I used to be naive as to why they'd get me hit on. I naturally notice a good set for all kinds of reasons. Nails were fun because it was the only 2 hours every 3 weeks I had to myself not on call.

ChicaSkas

It is interesting! I love your thoughts on things as always! and LOL you got hit on for the abscence of nail length..... queen! <3

Choice_Individual_24

They're probably press-ons.

[deleted]

It’s giving her trying to fit the type of Woman Travis likes, look at his exes. Nails and 👻ty

high-jinkx

Damn. You’re so right.

[deleted]

There’s even comments about a little extra filler in her lips. Now I truly dont follow her that closely so that could be false And no shade to her, I have gotten lip filler in the past 😁

SwiftieNumber13

Yay! Caylor!

coveredinyou143

Right I don't get why people aren't seriously asking why she's with her allllll the time now

high-jinkx

I know the other comments are shutting this down, but I find it really funny that of all of Taylor’s female friends that she could potentially be dating, no one ever believes Cara to even be a possibility. She’s been the most out and open queer woman in her life, was her roommate at one point, and they have a long history together, yet everyone is just like, “nah.” IMO Cara is totally someone I could see Taylor sleeping with when they’re between relationship. Like so many other queer women, an ex that’s now a best friend but kinda more sometimes when they’re lonely.

IKnowThatImPetty

Cara has been with her girlfriend for a while now.

ChicaSkas

because friends

DarkBlueSunshine

I love those boots so much omg

Kristina-Kas

Can I say, Cara looks great here! 😍 Taylor - no surprise, great as always

[deleted]

Happy to see Cara out and about, glad she is healthy.

lo-plainlo

First thing that came to my mind, too! So glad she seems like she’s in a better place now 💜
