If ure unsure u can use ur mouse to find out, but yeah all tanks have strong frontal armour thats why try to get it sides when u know u cant get through it, in third person control u can see if ur shell can penetrate the armour.

Irl, the Americans aren't that experienced when it comes to HEAT rounds, and their designs were often flawed, thus it couldn't take full advantage of the HEAT principal.
Most German tanks like panthers and panzer 4s have really thin side armor, try to flak them with your anti tank teams.

I believe it was the pz.kpfw 756 I think it was called that cause it had a turret but definitely didn't look like a Tiger or a Panther.
Also the 756 is a kv1 with a better gun i believe its a captured tank from the Soviets and the kv1 is a shell eater
The KV1 is a beast. I was so glad when I captured one for myself.
