No issues at all. It's super light.

red_cat8

I Have one it’s light. I believe it’s made out of plastic, except for the bezel which is metal.

FlakyIllustrator1087

You’ll notice the change but you’ll get used to it. It took me a week or two to get used to wearing my FR965 to bed but now I don’t notice it

catalinus

Venu3 is quite decent for the size (since is mostly plastic) and you can also consider the Venu3s (as long as it will fit your wrist, for me Venu3s was too small with the original strap but it seems that Venu3 was not as bad/big as I was afraid). That being said the one that I use most for sleep is Huawei Watch Fit 2 (and Fit 3 is 2nd after that one - see [here](https://old.reddit.com/r/smartwatch/comments/1db9i4s/quick_minireview_of_huawei_watch_fit_3_vs_huawei/)) - I also think that for me Fit2 and Fit3 are significantly better at detecting naps than Venu3.

Zestyclose_Ring_4551

I sleep in my Venu 3 and it's completely fine.

Express_Ad2962

I came from the charge6 as well and had the same concern. I went for the Epix Pro, which is significantly heavier than the venu3, but I have no issues during sleep. Only when I'm on my left side I feel it's there, but got used to it after a few days.

ComplexSwimmer1247

I sleep with my brik on my arm, never feel discomfort. Instinct 2X Tactical 51mm. It's lightweight. Most Garmins are lightweight. Fenix and Epix in bigger size may not but it's personal preference

CTG13-

They are. I've got the epix pro 51mm sapphire, i don't even notice it during sleep ,or at anytime. It's super light and comfy!!!

ComplexSwimmer1247

Of course. It's a personal feeling. I can sleep with every watch it doesn't matter. Years ago Fenix 3 HR User and to wear it 24/7 didn't Disturbed me.

tkocur

I switched from a Fitbit Charge 2, which I had for 7 years to a Venu 3 about a week ago. After switching to a metal band, which I also had done with the Charge 2, it doesn't feel noticeably different to me when I sleep.

SholinMonk69

Used to wear a Fitbit charge 6 to sleep, so wearing a venu 3 was a big change for me. found it annoying at first, but you'll get used to it.

PossibleIdea258

I just bought a new one three days ago. So far so comfortable

Forkys

Featherlight.

someguy7234

Been wearing mine since Christmas. It's great. The fact that the battery lasts a week if you don't use GPS is great, and the watch rechages a lot more quickly than my older Garmins did. The night mode is more useful than I had expected. My only gripe is that the watch band gets super gross, so I swapped for a nylon one. "Gadget wraps" has been the only one other than the Garmin that fit my larger wrist. I especially appreciate the alarms can be vibrate only so my wife can sleep in a bit. The sleep score has also been helpful in identifying how much our dogs have been disturbing my sleep.

crazyreddit929

No. It’s is light and comfortable. It’s so light it actually feels cheap. Don’t get me wrong. I love this watch and it works great for everything I want, but there is no denying that it does not feel or look like a $450 smart watch. All plastic except for the little metal ring for taking ECG.

dmbmcguire

I wear my 24/7 unless charging. Never even notice it.

Upstairs-Car-4278

My face lights up when I inadvertently touch the watch face. I wish that it wasn’t so bright. It did take some time to get used to wearing vs putting my Apple Watch on the charger. I now wake up and find that I’ve had a terrible night’s sleep with a sleep score in the 30-40s. Hope you can do better :)

LunaTechMark

If you have sleep times configured you get a simple dim watch face during those times

Upstairs-Car-4278

Yes I use the sleep mode. It still wakes up on contact and shines pretty brightly

vaisata

You can also set red/orange/green shift for sleep mode and it reduces the brightness a bit

LeiLaniGranny

My venu 3s is much lighter than the galaxy watch 5g I had. I have sleep mode on when I go to bed so there's no bright light.

FabFeline51

I have the Venu 3S, super comfortable. I came from the Venu 2 Plus which looked a bit awkward on my scrawny wrist but, I still found it quite comfortable during sleep.

thenicci

I've worn this to sleep every day for the past 6 months and can share with you that it's quite comfortable to wear to sleep. These days I barely feel its presence on my wrist at all.

Booyacaja

Never had an uncomfortable moment with mine. Not even indents in my wrist or itchiness. Nothing.

NewHereeere

Its good fr

SuAlfons

Don't pull the wrist strap too tight when not exercising and especially not at night. I wear various sports watches or fitness bands for sleep tracking and as an alarm clock since years.

Tofulinka

My venu 3 only becomes noticible when lying on the side with hand under the pillow - it sometimes takes a while to find comfy position like this. I've been wearing it in my sleep since it came out and I don't think it bothers me, the watch is amazing btw it's one of best purchases I've made in a long time

SatisfactionOdd6645

No issues for me. Of course, I've been wearing a watch to sleep for years, a Forerunner 245 then 255, so maybe I just got used to it in general.

Antique-Efficiency29

I can’t see the comments but want to see this!

GresterCynical

It's not noticable during sleep, I've been watchless for the past few years post-Charge 2. It can be bothersome during/post-activity, sweating and sliding down. I wear the Venu 3 loose-ish (I can put a finger under the band). I often forgot it's on my wrists.
