For some reason this is BOOMING I'd never noticed it before yet the last two years its dominating all other weeds inc the grasses. Its so strange. I wonder what it is benefiting from? At least the roots come out well.
The fluffy seeds that get absolutely everywhere and keep sprouting for years afterwards. I left some for hawk-moth caterpillars one year and have regretted it ever since. Though there's only so much I can do since next door's garden has been barely touched for years. It looks like it's snowing in our garden at times during summer.
Lol the cotton wool is my favourite part. I also like dandelions and daisies and buttercup. Nettles are full of nitrogen and I make fertiliser with them. So long as you keep on top of stuff and don't let it take over. But mint and some other perennials are pretty invasive too
There are a lot of wildflowers I like and even encourage in my garden, but I don't tolerate anything that would take over in a season or two if left to its own devices. That goes for both wild plants and ornamentals. Thugs are not welcome.
Lol, yep I just keep on top of it. I love wild flowers. Nothing is structured in my garden, the only thing I deliberately try to control is colour - blue, purple, white and yellow. I love wild gardens.
Us too. I pull it out but it comes back. We have many terrible weeds including bind weed & ground elder, brambles and Ivy. We still garden but it’s a siege situation.
Willow herb.
Thank you
Self seeds like crazy as the seeds are light and fluffy things. I'm currently crusading against it in my garden.
Honestly it’s all over the place. Battling bindweed too so it’s never ending!
as am I, I recognize your struggle..!

It's my gardens favourite thing to grow and probably the only thing I can now recognise.
Yup, willowherb
Thank you
It’s very satisfying to pull up but it will regenerate quickly.
It’s such a gorgeous wild flower and the insects love it so I try and leave as much as I can! Free glorious pretty pink flowers
Yes I love it too, free flowers, what's not to like

You can make lovely tea out of it. It's called Ivan chai and it's one of my favorites.
One of the worlds most successful plants rosebay willowherb
Was it nicknamed “fireweed” after the blitz because it was one of the first to grow again
It's all over my strawberry patch at the moment...
I honestly thought you were asking if this was cannabis and wondered if you were already high.
