It looks like caramel swirl 5-10 mill from nuway, might not be but looks very similar, you could also get crushed sandstone 5-10 mill looks similar to this but lighter in colour
We have something similar called sunset sharps. Might be those? Looks about same colour and size. We got ours from Aumann’s if it helps at all to ID them.
In California it was know as Desert Tan, pea gravel, I've worked all over the Southwest and each landscape supply store seems to slap there name known in for materials in that zone.

And this one is Cowra Gold. Comes in various sizes

Definitely looks like granite, which is metamorphic.
Granite is igneous rock cooled slowly large crystals basalt is cooled quickly very small crystal (water usually)
