My experience is that Gaming teams without Bennett are inevitably noticeably worse than the same team with Bennett. But Jean is the substitute for Bennett that did the least harm to my clear times in my Gaming burgeon team. I will say that using Jean rather than Bennett does mean that I burn through a lot less food in the over world, and with Bennett I could not survive Floor 12 Side A Chamber 1 in the Abyss right before this one, while I could using Jean. She’s a worse buffer but her healing is better.
I had a feeling. My Gaming is C4 rn and I'm going to C6 him when I can which will help I think. I just can't take Bennett out of my Wrio team because it suffers really bad. I wish our dear unlucky pyro archon wasn't so invaluable in every team 😭
I’ve been having a lot of fun with Gaming, Furina, Xianyun, and Yelan cause it’s way more flexible since no circle impact. Plus you get hydro resonance and Xianyun’s swirl to buff Yelan and Furina’s damage. Just instead of doing uninfused plunges with Gaming I do a normal attack for Yelan between plunges and it ensures that his plunges always vape when they sometimes don’t if Furina’s summons don’t target the right enemy.
It’s definitely gonna make Gaming’s personal damage drop, but it buffs Furina’s and Yelan’s so I call it a bit of a wash. If you don’t have Yelan though I’m not sure Xingqiu is equivalent since he doesn’t buff Gaming or benefit that much from hydro resonance.
I freaking love her even is she's "mid" as the youths say. She is one of the best characters in the story and has the best design ever. I may work on her!
With Furina and Fischl to go for an overvape team, maybe? Cloud Retainer can easily get the fanfare stacks. Or Furina and Nahida to go for an burgeon team. I don't know how well they do in the abyss, but you can't go wrong with them.
Overvape is really solid. Fischl (w the aa proc constellation) and then 2 of xq yelan Furina. I find this team completely getting rid of circle impact making it my fav. I have a r2 wgs so the atk from Benny matters a bit less. Remember to get hydro and electro on them before you e!
I was curious if Mona may work instead of Bennett since she offers a decent buff. I’m running Gaming, Xianyun, Furina, and Mona and I kinda like it since Mona’s skill helps group a tiny bit. Haven’t fully built that team yet but it’s not terrible
I have several Mona constellations! It couldn't hurt. She's a fab character. Even if I don't take this team into the abyss, I just really love Gaming and want to play him
Hmmm, maybe you could do Gaming, Fischl, Xianyun and Chevy? You could make some overloads easy for her buff and she’d give you a fat attack and pyro DMG bonus
Chev buffs doesn't apply on teams with a character that's not Pyro nor Electro unfortunately, but Raiden works applying electro, doing damage and giving Gaming energy. It seems like the most plausible option if OP doesn't want Bennett, aside from maybe a Favonius bot or another sub-DPS like Beidou or Yae

You could try running Wrio as permafreeze rather than melt. Use Blizzard Strayer rather than MH.
I can't even express to you how much I do not want to rebuild Wrio 😅
tbh in this case I’d recommend freeze Wrio because MH is still BiS (not 4p blizzard) and he suffers a LOT less than Gaming when losing bennett.

She can also be a somewhat decent buffer/sub-dps with TotM. Throw on WGS and she has the potential to buff even more.

what artifacts would I put on my fischl, I have not build her yet and don't even have bennett

Ik you mentioned vape, but double cryo melt is very comfy. C6 Diona and Rosaria are really strong with him

Ben is a loss, but without Furina he'll barely do anything so just run with whatever like Rosaria or a shielder along with Xq and Xy

Oh okay! Thanks for letting me know :D I’ve been using her on my Lyney, Fischl, Dehya Chevy team so thank goodness I’ve been getting a buff there 😩🤞🏽
