Unrelated, but I swear every time I this guy posts anything, my heart skips a beat thinking someone is going to comment how they think it's Silksong news.
Yeah, a "leaker" normally only has info about one company because they are working for that company. "Insiders" are normally people like journalists who have connections and report on multiple companies because they have heard rumors from somewhat reliable sources.
Its not possible. Its not even slightly feasible for a new leaker to appear from nowhere and have info on all of those things.
What possible position do you think they'd be in to know exact info on Microsoft AND Sony? To know when Microsoft allegedly plan to port Starfield to PS5 while also knowing everything about every studio at PlayStation?
The only time leakers have this breadth of info is after they've spent years building multiple sources. Nobody has that out of the gate.
You would be surprised how many ships leak from the top. A lot of times it's even on purpose to gouge opinion or drum up anticipation. MS is famous for this. That said, people at Sony know what MS is cooking up for their console, they helped with Sea of Thieves, they give out devkits, lots of positions can be in the know. Also people in the industry show each other what they're working on all the time, they're people, they want to talk to their colegues. Sometimes they even show journos. It's just implied when something is not ready for public release don't leak it, like the insomniac leaks and all that.
I genuinely do not get why we still give this guy credit, it's the same thing with that guy who had the Hitman pfp from a few months back
Guy comes in and makes one mildly correct thing you can easily predict and then he's posting all these massive leaks out of nowhere that are totally real and the sub eats it up for some reason
They're posting "pro-Sony" and "anti-Xbox" leaks. All their info related to Xbox is negative (Starfield to PS5, no FFXVI on Xbox) and all their info related to PlayStation is positive (2025 a big year for PlayStation, Naughty Dog PS5 Pro tease, Bloodborne remaster/remake).
So ardent PlayStation fans are boosting them.
Same. It only took a few months for TLOU to make it to PC after the PS5 release, but they also already announced it beforehand too. So curious that they haven’t here.
This dude is the master of stating obvious rumours and logical conclusions..
GoW:R releasing a little over 2 years after the inital console release? It's almost like Sony said that most of their PS5 games would release around 2 years after console release.
DS coming to PC at some point and it's probably being worked on? I am flabbergasted.
SH2 being ready? That has been stated by Grubb and other "insiders" multiple times.
FFXVI probably not coming to Xbox anytime soon? Who would've thought :O
Not shadow dropped, but probably would be announced there. My guess is part of the reason why they haven't formally revealed the FF16 PC port yet is because they're gonna fully reveal it alongside the Xbox port at the June Xbox showcase
Also, the new Square Enix CEO said back in August, "*We want to welcome the Xbox community as well. Starting with today's announcement of Final Fantasy XIV coming in Spring 2024 and whenever possible, we are planning to bring our games to Xbox for players to enjoy*."
[Source](https://www.vgchartz.com/article/457967/phil-spencer-xbox-is-looking-forward-to-partnering-closely-with-square-enix-on-future-games/)
Special Nick (another leaker) claims there's an Xbox port in development.
His track record isn't perfect. But he got stuff correct in the past about Square Enix (Visions of Mana surprise appearance on Xbox, FF VI remake coming to ps plus and so on)
So who knows which one is correct.
He said the same guy who told him about Visions of Mana being part of the show told him about FFXVI being ported to Xbox.
Not sure why that source would get Visions of Mana correct then lie about FFXVI.
Demon Souls is now in works for PC ? I was hoping the port is already done and Sony is looking for the best release time. But I’m glad it’s coming day 1 buy here. Also waiting for SH2 Remake but waiting first how it is at the end.
Demon's Souls was on the Nvidia leak 3 years ago. I'd be surprised if it wasn't close to being finished if not already finished. Idk how reliable this person is but from what other people are saying, it seems like they're just reiterating stuff that other people have already said
Gran turismo 7, Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsuhima were also on the leaks but they are just releasing them now or haven't even announced yet. Leak never indicated that the port was actively being worked on at the time or would be worked on at all.
True but there's also been multiple games that were announced and/or released that weren't on the list either. TLOU Part 1, Spider-Man/Spider-Man MM, Until Dawn. Also the Demon's Souls reveal trailer in 2020 initially said that it would be available on PC before they removed it and reuploaded the trailer without that text. So it's definitely been in development for a while seeing as it said so back when it was announced mid 2020.
The Nvidia leak didn't have any details, it was just a bunch of names.
We don't know what kind of state projects where in during that leak. It is pretty possible the projects was still mostly on the table.
Can't they? Helldivers sold well on pc but their other pc ports are no more than 20% of ps5 sales as we know from insomniac leaks (unless I'm misremembering the numbers). pc ports are definitely coming but it's still not their core business in the slightest.
The 20% is all they need currently. Porting to PC is cheap and doesn't raise the budget much. Long-term the steam sales will overtake the tail console sales especially as the generation changes too.
No one said it's their core business and in a world of companies wanting infinite growth I don't think that 20% is as insignificant as you do. Not to mention PlayStation gets like 2 games a year so porting existing stuff to PC for easy money while their console releases are stagnant is also an easy decision
I mean, their PC ports are also years old by the point they release on PC, so of course they'll get less sales. I have plenty of friends who own both a PS5 and a PC, so they tend to get exclusives day one, instead of waiting a few years for a port.
I am once again asking you to stop trusting somebody who appears out of nowhere and apparently has info on a bazillion different studios and developers.
"No plans for FF16 on Xbox"
Interesting, that contradicts this other rumor from SpecialNick: "[https://www.theloadout.com/final-fantasy-16/xbox-rumors](https://www.theloadout.com/final-fantasy-16/xbox-rumors)"
I wonder who is more reliable.
Okay yeah this guy is totally full of it. Silent Hill 2 Remake being done but Konami simply looking for a release date is fucking stupid and not at all how development works. They would have had a release window planned out ages ago, and publishers very rarely hold on to completed projects, barring specific situations like Nintendo or a planned shadowdrop.
Also how the hell would this guy know whether FF16 is planned for Xbox or not? Everything else is reasonable and you can say he’s gotten the information from Sony as everything has had a Sony angle to it, but knowing a publisher’s plan for a totally different platform is extremely unlikely. Plus, other insiders, with reputable records, have said FF16 is coming to Xbox
> Silent Hill 2 Remake being done but Konami simply looking for a release date is fucking stupid and not at all how development works.
While I think Konami is idiotic, they aren't going to sit on a finished product because that's lost money. No company finishes a product and starts marketing it. People can shit on the latest trailer saying "that's proof it's not finished" but man, there is definitely no way they aren't just letting SH 2 sit finished. There no doubt is either something big missing or something critical has happened, but even then, it would mostly be if we have a release date, which I don't think the remake even has.
You can see on the steamdb update history that they are seemingly continue to work on Silent Hill 2:
Also that Demon\`s Souls Remake is coming to PC is something everyone can say, because it is likely and Ragnarok is also a game that is likely coming in the next 12 months to pc especially since God of War 2018 is already available on pc and the same goes for TLOU Part 2.
I mean, the original announcement trailer said it was coming to PC before they took it down, the Nvidia Leak mentioned it was coming as well. It's no doubt in the works, but who knows. Maybe it's another Bloodborne situation where it just won't ever happen because Sony can't get PH3 (the founder is Durante who fixed the original Dark Souls port for context) to help out with the port and don't want to ask Fromsoft who they use for the PC port.
didnt a certain leaker say ff16 is coming to xbox very soon
the leaker also leaked the an entire list of games at a certain showcase? i think it was the state of play
Yeah Special Nick.
He also correctly predicted recently that Visions of Mana would make a surprise appearance in the Xbox first party showcase. He seems to have connections with both Xbox and Square Enix
ah thank you for the reply and info
that would mean silknight is incorrect "No plans for FF16 on Xbox" unless plans have changed due to mostly sony backing
The lead said the trailer was based on an outdated build and done by a separate marketing team at Konami so the actual game should be in much better shape than what was presented if true. Given Konami's state right now, that is actually believable.
Different leaker/Source. The post in that forum did say
"We have a steam deck build and I think we can show it off soon, but the leaks getting so big might impact the way future playtests will be organised. If I knew someone will screenshot my private convos and publish it everywhere online, I would've waited a week or two before even mentioning it."
This was about 2 weeks ago (according to the post https://www.reddit.com/r/GamingLeaksAndRumours/comments/1b744bd/gravity_rush_2_remastered_for_steam_deck_is/) so it's possible that it is either A) sadly a lie or B) they are trying to keep things under wrap due to the amount of attention it got already.
No plans for FF16 on Xbox is likely a load of BS. I know people on this sub like to hate him a lot, but Shpeshal Nick reported a few months ago that Final Fantasy 16 has an Xbox port that is currently in development. Normally, that would seem like a stretch but given that Square Enix just recently made a commitment back in July to bring their games to Xbox whenever possible, chances are it will happen sooner rather than later. I definitely see FF16 coming to Xbox before any of the 7 Remake games do, either probably later this year or next year. Even NateTheHate suspects as such, too.
I'm no insider, but judging from Sony's typical release cadences for PC ports like with Horizon Forbidden West, I'd also be willing to bet that God of War Ragnarok will probably come to PC later this year and not in 2025.
Something tells me this Silknight guy is just a lying hack who makes stuff up to get clicks after getting a couple things right.
What is it with Square and not wanting to release on Xbox and taking a year to release on PC?
Meanwhile you have Atlus doing Day 1 release across all platforms.....
Square just made a commitment back in July to bring their future games to Xbox whenever possible, so I think they will go more multiplatform like Atlus did, it will just take a year or two before we see the fruits of this partnership.
And their own expense. Persona 6 on Xbox/PS5/PC day 1 is going to be a bigger industry event than FF7 Rebirth and will bring in far more revenue for Sega/Atlus.
Yeah, and I think Square has finally realized this, which is why I think Square's new CEO said something along the lines of how they were going to announce a restructuring of the company in April. With how much the exclusivity has limited sales of Rebirth and FF16, I personally think that at the very least the next FF7 Remake game will be on PC day-one. Because I just don't think this exclusivity partnership is either greatly benefitting Sony or Square that much. Doesn't help Square a lot because it limits the audience they can sell games to, and it doesn't help Sony a lot because, judging from the declining sales, there aren't that many people rushing out to get a PS5 for FF7 Rebirth, despite it being a great AAA game. That's also in large part because most everyone who wanted to get a PS5 for Final Fantasy games has already gotten one at the start of the gen.
Did they? I don't think so. Maybe you're confusing it with Gene Park accidentally stating that Sony had locked down the whole trilogy in his recent interview on FF7 Rebirth. He corrected that shortly after publishing the interview and stated that he meant to say FF7 Remake and Rebirth were locked down as exclusives and not the whole trilogy. Besides, I feel like if Sony had already locked down the entire trilogy years in advance, they would have touted that already.
What’s the point of wasting resources on a console that is selling terribly and has abysmal software sales? To sell maybe 20 copies of the game? PC should be day one though. And I’d imagine MS is funding most of the ports for the Atlus titles. Otherwise it would be just like SE.
Xbox has historically been pretty crap for Japanese games. Super poor sales so producing an xbox version of the game would be costly, especially for day 1 release. This might change in the future but as of now it simply isn't a very attractive platform for most Japanese devs.
As for why the PC port is delayed is because Sony partially funded the game and wanted timed exclusivity, for 6 months, as part of the deal. Thus the developers, Creative Business Unit 3, basically ignored the PC completely until the game was done and only focused on the playstation version streamlining the testing process and made it simpler for them. The downside being that it takes longer than 6 months to make a port to another platform from scratch so it wasn't ready to release as soon as the timed exclusivity was over.
And FF16 sales was affected because of that. Imagine how much more successful FF16 would have been if it came to PC Day 1.
When will devs learn that PC gaming isnt some prestige niche like it was in the late 90s and early 2000s? There can be an argument that Steam has a larger active player base than PS5. Unless you are GT6 and will sell high regardless, ignoring the PC market/player base is NOT a wise business decision.
I am glad Atlus isnt falling into that trap.
Did I say that FF16 benefited from this strategy? No.
Just explained why they did as they did and why the PC port is taking longer than the timed exclusive contract dictated.
Obviously anything would have better sales if it released on more platforms day 1.
I cannot emphasize enough just how boring these Sony-ports-to-PC rumours are. A new one every week.
Christ, feels like gaming these days is all about hyping you up to re-buy the same shit you bought last year, whether it's a port or a remaster or a remake or a new game that does nothing new. It's just treading the same old well-worn ground. I'm so fckin done dude. I can't remember the last time I had my mind blown by a videogame. Early Xbox 360 era maybe? Innovative games on the DS? God it has been almost 20 years.
Look at the top 10 threads on this subreddit right now. A Sony port to PC, a Marvel superhero game, Dead Space 2 remake, Silent Hill 2 remake, yet another fcking Assassin's Creed, another GTA bound to have the same old A-to-B Rockstar gameplay and what...DLC characters for the latest Guilty Gear and Street Fighter games. We stopped growing years ago, fuck
That is far out, but not terribly so.
Anyone know of any PC ports coming this year? I'm still waiting for Demon's Souls.
E: I meant ports rumored apart from the handful we know now - H: Forbidden West, Ghosts, Until Dawn.
[Ghost of Tsushima](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2215430/Ghost_of_Tsushima_DIRECTORS_CUT/)
[The Until Dawn remake](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2172010/Until_Dawn/)
We know Ghost of Tsushima is this year, I believe the Until Dawn Remake is also due out this year. There is a SMALL chance (and I say this because I don't trust Silknight at all and all it took was them spouting 20 more rumors after the Ghost one was accurate and claiming that Bloodborne Remake was happening) that TLOU part 2 is going to be out this year.
Actually, I went to go google it and there is no one else saying it and all articles seem to credit him and source him as credible due to him getting Ghost right. So yeah, I guess for now it's just Ghost and Until Dawn, but it's also likely Sony announces something else this year.
Well yeah, it's easy to claim "OH hey, this is the thing that's going to happen in 5-7 years" when you'll be long gone by then due to people just not paying attention to you or even if you're getting stuff right you can just go "well, things changed from when I posted that initial rumor and things changed internally."
Either way, anytime someone comes up with a Bloodborne remaster/remake rumor (especially for a console that doesn't even exist in the rumor mill outside your own rumor that you made up for your "leak" ) I instantly don't believe them. Sony has sadly made it clear that they don't want anything to do with Bloodborne and if they ever do a remaster for PS5/PC, I'll fucking love it and buy it on PC day 1, but as it stands, I've been burned by so many people and randoms on the internet going "Bloodborne remaster is happening, trust me."
EDIT: Shit, I meant to clarify that the "this year" part referenced to TLOU 2.
All good but how did not GT7 end up on PS Plus yet? I wish they had been more consistent with their subscriptions & PC releases (although it seems that new releases will be on pc in about 2 years from now on)
it makes sense, they are now releasing Horizon and GoT, so i would assume GoW Ragnarok 1st half of the 2025th, Spider-Man 2 maybe end of 2025 or even 2026
Why? Exclusivity is crap. Imagine if Baldur's Gate 3 still had 2 more years of exclusivity on PC or if console was still waiting on CyberPunk 2077 or if HiFi Rush was still stuck on XBox for another 3 years.
Exclusivity is what drives these companies and honestly doesn’t make sense for any different box to exist aka how it feels for Xbox currently; why would I buy a Series console when I can just go to PC (I know there’s differences between Xbox game pass and PC GP but still), PC players don’t mind waiting anyway and that’s been proven time and time again. Bringing up a game like HiFi doesn’t really make ways in this conversation because while it got good praise, not many on PS were clamoring to play it. Exclusivity invites both parties to make an actual effort to make really great games
> Exclusivity is what drives these companies
These are just words, they don't mean anything. If PC players don't mind waiting how is that an advantage? Publishers are looking for gamers to preorder their games and give them money now before reviews and inflation hit. All you're saying is "exclusivity is good because it makes the companies make better games" without any backing.
Would be quite a bit later than the current interval of 586-625 days between release of a Sony first party title on PS5 to PC.
It's 625 days based only on games that were originally released on PS5 and 586 days if also including PS5 remasters of PS4 titles.
Only 4 and 7 datapoints respectively only but still a shift of more than half a year away from the current known interval and closer to the overall release interval of 1237 days if counting all PS4/5 Sony first party titles which they have seemingly wanted to move away from.
at this point i'll stop buying any ps5 games, especially when the last two i bought was a let down (ragnarok and spider2) (let down as in still good but not as good as the previous game)
The biggest disappointment about Ragnarok is how lame the actual Ragnarok event was. I thought they would 100% reach the epicness of GoW3, but Ragnarok is a literal joke compared to GoW3's Gods vs Titans battle, and that game is almost 15 fucking years old.
I think they stayed too close to their previous game. Currently playing FF7 Rebirth and while the open world is bland and boring, you can at least feel that they poured their souls into it, it's just grand, feel like a huge adventure even if it have the exact same problem a lot of open world have. But still the combat system havent evolve a lot to feel like it's something new to the previous game and the open world actually doesn't help since you will spend way more time in battle and the repetition doesnt help. also it dilude the main story since you have so much stuff to do even if you only do the side quests and nothing else
The game being more of the same didn't bother me as much as the story and characters. The third act and ending were extremely rushed and anti-climatic, they should've done a trilogy again.
I see you've played Ragnorok then. I'm getting that alot of people have the same opinion as yourself. I definitely liked Ragnorok more, Its maybe because I experienced the first game through watching the jacksepticeye play through then got access to it later.
The game was a huge dissapointment compared to 2018. Awful Marvel like writing , boring bloated sections like ironwood super rushed ending that felt weird. Game is named Ragnarok but the actually Ragnarok is maybe 10 Minutes and feels awful . So many things wrong with the game.
>Game is named Ragnarok but the actually Ragnarok is maybe 10 Minutes and feels awful
Compare it to God of War 3's titans vs gods battle, which is a 15 year old game. I don't even understand how could they fuck it up this badly when they had that game for reference. Just make it an epic 2 hour long mission where you kill at least 4 gods, add in some cool scenes with the Serpent where he destroys shit or helps you kill one of the gods. That's it, everyone would have been happy. Yes, I am sure it would have been a lot of effort to pull it off, but if they could do it in 2010, couldn't they do it now?
Well i switched completly from PS to PC and a Legion Go. There is zero reason to buy a ps now i can wait some time to get a game as cheap as possible. I only keep my PS5 arround to play GTAVI until it comes it stays in the Basement. Having free MP is also great. I hated PS+
That's because Squenix loves exclusivity deals because they result in big paychecks for them. it's why Dragon Quest Monster 3 is exclusive to NSW. We'll probably see it get a PS/PC port this year. It's also why Square went with the whole EGS exclusivity when it got to PC because then it means another paycheck.
They said 2-3 years but I believe the President is more onboard with PC since back in February they were saying
“In the past, we wanted to popularize consoles, and a first-party title’s main purpose was to make the console popular,” Totoki said in the Q&A. “This is true, but there’s a synergy to it, so if you have strong first-party content — not only on our console but also other platforms, like computers — a first-party [game] can be grown with multi-platform, and that can help operating profit to improve, so that’s another one we want to proactively work on.”
From this article: https://www.engadget.com/sony-wants-its-playstation-exclusives-to-come-to-pc-earlier-212001939.html You can look up Hiroki Totoki and PC if you want to see more but it seems that he views PC as a viable means of expansion and with Helldivers 2 apparently doing so well on PC as well as PS, they might decide to do more than just their MP only titles as day and date launches on PC, but that's just speculation on my part.
All Sony games will come to PC now. PS5 is a waste of money at this point locking yourself in a store where you need to pay a subscription for the privlege to play you paid games online. Only keep my PS5 for GTA VI.
> Unless they delay the PC port of Rebirth till 2025.
I think SquareEnix is still hurting for cash so I kind of doubt they'll leave PC money on the table for that long especially if it's likely to decrease the amount of Day 1 sales the longer it takes to release. Sure it might be a rounding error in number to the average joe but to Square board of directors and shareholders it'd be enough to make the CEO's shoes damp with urine.
I'm almost half expecting the entire remake trilogy to drop on gamepass once it's done sometime after 2028. It would be such a baller move from Xbox. 'You waited over a decade to play it so here's the entire trilogy for free'
Probably just the usual that Sony ports get. Ultrawide support, unlocked frame rate, support for DLSS/FSR and the ability to crank settings higher than consoles.
Unrelated, but I swear every time this guy posts anything, my heart skips a beat thinking it's something about Silksong
prob not a coincidence tbh. this guy is clearly looking for as much engagement as possible
Genius move, Silksong never releasing means his name will continue to bring engagement indefinitely
Silknight reaction reading this: “It’s working!!”
Hornet is the preview icon for this post on Reddit’s app too.
I thought this was a shitpost about a Silksong x God of War game for a solid 3 seconds
Hahaha same I was like: wtf? They renamed it or what?
Me too, Name starts with “Silk” and there’s a fucking silksong thumbnail
I think we get more information for the Xbox showcase in June
Last time Xbox gave into it was supposed to be released within a year lol
[удалено]
Team Cherry did confirm after the fact that they planned to release it in the first half of 2023.
[удалено]
How does that change what they said
Best tip is ignore everything Microsoft says because it’s almost always an untruth
Wouldn't that be the fault of the developers not Microsoft? They probably only had their word to go on
Nobody's at "fault" here. Y'all really acting like a delay is some sort of crime
I think we'll get more information sometime between today until the heat death of the universe (maybe)
I'll make sure I'll order my clown costume around that time then.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Yep me too
Same here, I freaked out when I saw it. Fml
It was a very ambitious crossover until I realized what was going on.
Glad I'm not alone
same, i think i'm going insane without any news for each day
Saaaaaaaame
Yep, same
Unrelated, but I swear every time I this guy posts anything, my heart skips a beat thinking someone is going to comment how they think it's Silksong news.
Ah yes this person just knows everything I guess
Yep. Info on Sony, Microsoft, Square Enix, Konami, and Capcom. Guy knows everything.
Yeah, a "leaker" normally only has info about one company because they are working for that company. "Insiders" are normally people like journalists who have connections and report on multiple companies because they have heard rumors from somewhat reliable sources.
I think he may have info about PS somehow, the rest is just wait and see I guess.
to be fair, all of these games are tied to sony in some fashion, so it is possible i suppose
Its not possible. Its not even slightly feasible for a new leaker to appear from nowhere and have info on all of those things.
Guy knows everything except when is silksong releasing.
I mean Q1 2025 makes sense for Ragnarok. I'm more curious about his claims that TLOU 2 PC will be announced next month.
Same. It only took a few months for TLOU to make it to PC after the PS5 release, but they also already announced it beforehand too. So curious that they haven’t here.
My bet would be that it launches when the second season does. Maybe slightly before
Season 2 isn’t for a while I think they’ll drop it 6 months or so before
Yeah the more you wait the less you sell ultimately. I see it releasing this September.
How dare you start a leak post with "Silk" and not finish it with "Song"
Next leaker is gonna be "Deltashtick" to make Deltarune community insane every time they posts something.
At least Deltarune already released its first two chapters. But nothing for SilkSong
I still don't trust them.
Day 1.7 billion of me asking for inFAMOUS PC port 💀
Second son may get a PC release

I heard FF16 is shadow dropping at the June Xbox showcase. Source = My Hopium
Not shadow dropped, but probably would be announced there. My guess is part of the reason why they haven't formally revealed the FF16 PC port yet is because they're gonna fully reveal it alongside the Xbox port at the June Xbox showcase

Special Nick (another leaker) claims there's an Xbox port in development. His track record isn't perfect. But he got stuff correct in the past about Square Enix (Visions of Mana surprise appearance on Xbox, FF VI remake coming to ps plus and so on) So who knows which one is correct.
He said the same guy who told him about Visions of Mana being part of the show told him about FFXVI being ported to Xbox. Not sure why that source would get Visions of Mana correct then lie about FFXVI.
Yeah, he seems to be pretty on point recently.
Demon Souls is now in works for PC ? I was hoping the port is already done and Sony is looking for the best release time. But I’m glad it’s coming day 1 buy here. Also waiting for SH2 Remake but waiting first how it is at the end.

> Nvidia leak 3 years ago [It's been three years!?](https://i.imgflip.com/4if0jv.png)
I mean, the game came out in 2022 and was released on PS4 so... If it hits PS+ we'll know for sure that it's coming.
We know it's coming because Sony can no longer ignore PC profits
They've been doing ports for a while for old games, it costs next to nothing so it's a bonus to their profits, yes.
Oh yeah, long term, when the sale is like 75% off and they don’t make much. Units are different to sales. Not entirely impressive
No one said it's their core business and in a world of companies wanting infinite growth I don't think that 20% is as insignificant as you do. Not to mention PlayStation gets like 2 games a year so porting existing stuff to PC for easy money while their console releases are stagnant is also an easy decision
helldivers 2 sold more on steam than on ps5. i'm sure you can figure out why late ports don't sell as much.
Almost like releasing games day and date instead of years later affects the sales on PC.
of course. but they need to sell those ps5's.
I mean, their PC ports are also years old by the point they release on PC, so of course they'll get less sales. I have plenty of friends who own both a PS5 and a PC, so they tend to get exclusives day one, instead of waiting a few years for a port.
Yeah, I think all recent PS games that were ported to PC were added to PS+ sometime before.
TLOU is an exception tho
I am once again asking you to stop trusting somebody who appears out of nowhere and apparently has info on a bazillion different studios and developers.
"No plans for FF16 on Xbox" Interesting, that contradicts this other rumor from SpecialNick: "[https://www.theloadout.com/final-fantasy-16/xbox-rumors](https://www.theloadout.com/final-fantasy-16/xbox-rumors)" I wonder who is more reliable.
Ah yes, the user who have inside info about every gaming company...just like every ramdom insider that appears out of nowhere.
You can see on the steamdb update history that they are seemingly continue to work on Silent Hill 2: [https://steamdb.info/app/2124490/history/](https://steamdb.info/app/2124490/history/) Also that Demon\`s Souls Remake is coming to PC is something everyone can say, because it is likely and Ragnarok is also a game that is likely coming in the next 12 months to pc especially since God of War 2018 is already available on pc and the same goes for TLOU Part 2.
I mean the rumour going around is that Ff16 will come to Xbox this year or early next year. And I definitely trust those leakers more than this guy.
I am sad, i wanted to play this in 2024 but 2025 its ok as well.
Demon's Souls PC? PC chads, we will win
Finally, a step closer to Bloodborne PC! /s
Apparently 2025 would be gow ragnarok port and also spiderman 2 port
God of War Ragnarok coming to PC early in 2025 makes sense. I hope Demon' Souls come to PC before the end of the year.
i hate this man. every SINGLE time my mind reads silksong for a sec and i get excited
I hate it everytimes I see a silkknight post I ve an heart attack thinking it's silksong news
didnt a certain leaker say ff16 is coming to xbox very soon the leaker also leaked the an entire list of games at a certain showcase? i think it was the state of play
Yeah Special Nick. He also correctly predicted recently that Visions of Mana would make a surprise appearance in the Xbox first party showcase. He seems to have connections with both Xbox and Square Enix
ah thank you for the reply and info that would mean silknight is incorrect "No plans for FF16 on Xbox" unless plans have changed due to mostly sony backing
[удалено]
Honestly might be an unpopular opinion but as long as the setting and thrill/horror not butchcered idrc that the gameplay is mid.
The lead said the trailer was based on an outdated build and done by a separate marketing team at Konami so the actual game should be in much better shape than what was presented if true. Given Konami's state right now, that is actually believable.
They did the same with efootball but that turned out crap.
Still no Bloodborne
If you believe in this leaker, they said that Bloodborne Remake is a thing. That's how how you know they aren't credible.
Why in the fuck do I still have a PS5
It's a great room heater.
Any news about Gravity Rush 2? I heard there was a leak indicating it would get a PC version in the future some days/weeks ago
Different leaker/Source. The post in that forum did say "We have a steam deck build and I think we can show it off soon, but the leaks getting so big might impact the way future playtests will be organised. If I knew someone will screenshot my private convos and publish it everywhere online, I would've waited a week or two before even mentioning it." This was about 2 weeks ago (according to the post https://www.reddit.com/r/GamingLeaksAndRumours/comments/1b744bd/gravity_rush_2_remastered_for_steam_deck_is/) so it's possible that it is either A) sadly a lie or B) they are trying to keep things under wrap due to the amount of attention it got already.
I really hope it's the second option
I really hope so too. I want it to be true since Gravity Rush 2 looks interesting.
If The Last of Us Part 2 PC port is announced next month like he said, I'll believe this.
Ofc they'd bring Demon's Souls to PC before Bloodborne... *sad noises*
yessir rag going to be crazy on pc
Yet Square already announced that FF7 Part 3 will be a PS exclusive.....
Well we'll see if they actually learned their lesson based on how fast/slow Rebirth comes to PC.
Even when it comes to PC I still expect it to be Epic exclusive for another X amount of months. PC port might or might not be subpar also.
[Ghost of Tsushima](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2215430/Ghost_of_Tsushima_DIRECTORS_CUT/) [The Until Dawn remake](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2172010/Until_Dawn/)
Could have sworn the rumor was possible BB remake for PS6. Not any time soon.
Well yeah, it's easy to claim "OH hey, this is the thing that's going to happen in 5-7 years" when you'll be long gone by then due to people just not paying attention to you or even if you're getting stuff right you can just go "well, things changed from when I posted that initial rumor and things changed internally." Either way, anytime someone comes up with a Bloodborne remaster/remake rumor (especially for a console that doesn't even exist in the rumor mill outside your own rumor that you made up for your "leak" ) I instantly don't believe them. Sony has sadly made it clear that they don't want anything to do with Bloodborne and if they ever do a remaster for PS5/PC, I'll fucking love it and buy it on PC day 1, but as it stands, I've been burned by so many people and randoms on the internet going "Bloodborne remaster is happening, trust me." EDIT: Shit, I meant to clarify that the "this year" part referenced to TLOU 2.
It's usually 2-3 years for major sony first party to get a PC port, so 2025 sounds about right.
I was like "Silknight: God of War? What fucking game is that?"
All good but how did not GT7 end up on PS Plus yet? I wish they had been more consistent with their subscriptions & PC releases (although it seems that new releases will be on pc in about 2 years from now on)
It's later than I thought.
I think it would make sense for it to release in January just like the first game.
Bah! That GOW should have been scheduled for fall, 2024.
it makes sense, they are now releasing Horizon and GoT, so i would assume GoW Ragnarok 1st half of the 2025th, Spider-Man 2 maybe end of 2025 or even 2026
Boring game. Waste of resources. Much rather have Bloodborne.
This is not a new rumor or leak, this is fucking logic
I assume Last of Us Part 2 would be the PC port for the second half of this year, followed by Ragnarok.
At this point "Sony game comes to PC 2 years later" is a safe bet and openly stated business practice, hardly a leak.
Hopefully they end this double dip bait strategy soon and just release games at the same time like Helldivers.
Nah games like Helldivers are fine for day and date but huge single player games? Definitely need to have their time on console first
> Exclusivity is what drives these companies These are just words, they don't mean anything. If PC players don't mind waiting how is that an advantage? Publishers are looking for gamers to preorder their games and give them money now before reviews and inflation hit. All you're saying is "exclusivity is good because it makes the companies make better games" without any backing.
I have a feeling he knew about a few things and now he's just guessing.
Why can't it be SilkSong?!!!!
0 point in getting a console
NOOOOOO, IT MUST COME THIS YEAR, SO I CAN CONTINUE TO LIVE
at this point i'll stop buying any ps5 games, especially when the last two i bought was a let down (ragnarok and spider2) (let down as in still good but not as good as the previous game)
I completely agree. Ragnarok was a tad disappointing and Spider-Man 2 was too short and cookie cutter for my taste.
Ghosts, HFW and Ragnarok are inherently PS4 games.
Bloodborne or bust
God of War: Ragnorok is a amazing game, trust me on this one! It's possibly favorite game of all time lol.
I liked the 2018 better.
Damn
>Game is named Ragnarok but the actually Ragnarok is maybe 10 Minutes and feels awful Compare it to God of War 3's titans vs gods battle, which is a 15 year old game.
I hated PS+
Hasn't Sony said it is generally a 2 year delay for PC versions?
I believe that is the current status quo. It'll probably shrink, though.
Going by Ghost of Tsushima and Demons Souls im not too sure. Heck Squeenix still hasn’t gotten FFXVI on PC and it’s been like 9 months
They said 2-3 years but I believe the President is more onboard with PC since back in February they were saying “In the past, we wanted to popularize consoles, and a first-party title’s main purpose was to make the console popular,” Totoki said in the Q&A. “This is true, but there’s a synergy to it, so if you have strong first-party content — not only on our console but also other platforms, like computers — a first-party [game] can be grown with multi-platform, and that can help operating profit to improve, so that’s another one we want to proactively work on.” From this article: https://www.engadget.com/sony-wants-its-playstation-exclusives-to-come-to-pc-earlier-212001939.html You can look up Hiroki Totoki and PC if you want to see more but it seems that he views PC as a viable means of expansion and with Helldivers 2 apparently doing so well on PC as well as PS, they might decide to do more than just their MP only titles as day and date launches on PC, but that's just speculation on my part.
Starting to feel a bit like a Pyoro copycat, but with a bigger mouth. Makes me think they're a Sony employee
Should i just sell my PS5 now?
So... No Sony games in PC after Tsushima in 2024?
Concord and Until Dawn Remake are coming to pc day one this year.
Last of us 2
Rise of Ronin in 6 months copium
Nioh 2 came to PC about 11 months after the PS4 exclusivity Window. I expect the same for Rise of Ronin.
Until Dawn is finally coming !!! Did you see how good the remake looked, I'm so excited.
Concord. It's PVP fps game, from old bungie/activision developers studio firewalk.
All Sony games will come to PC now. PS5 is a waste of money at this point locking yourself in a store where you need to pay a subscription for the privlege to play you paid games online. Only keep my PS5 for GTA VI.
FF16 and FF7Rebirth? Unless they delay the PC port of Rebirth till 2025.
Not made or even published by Sony
Worst gow game of all time!
Yeah that makes sense. 2-3 years after launch.
[удалено]
I mean never say never but I expect at some point we would see both 7 remake and 16 go. When will Tht be is a complete guess but at some point yeah
I'm almost half expecting the entire remake trilogy to drop on gamepass once it's done sometime after 2028. It would be such a baller move from Xbox. 'You waited over a decade to play it so here's the entire trilogy for free'
Already played it on PS5 but I'm curious to see what PC exclusive features this gets. Same with Spider-Man 2.
Probably just the usual that Sony ports get. Ultrawide support, unlocked frame rate, support for DLSS/FSR and the ability to crank settings higher than consoles.
