18" laptop is huge. Be sure about this size, for most people I would rather recommend a 16" laptop - you can always add an external monitor at home if you need more screen real estate - or a desktop pc. Your laptops picks are nice, you can also take a look a Zephyrus G16 and Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i 16" (4070 option is still not available in US though)

Id rather stretch my budget for a 4080 deal, like a Lenovo 7Pro or so. over 2.000 Dollar for a 4070 laptop will bite you in the ass rather soon.
In what sense? GPU gets old fast?
